I have to say this is the best vets I have ever been to. The staff a so caring and compassionate. Sadly both my dogs had to be put to sleep due to old age and the staff helped with so much love. They even send me a beautiful card to me after my baby's has passed. I wish I had found this beautiful vets years ago. Thank you to the wonderful team at this veterinary kind regards Mrs Reid. ❤️

I was really pleased with the service and how lovely the staff and the lady that looked after my tortoise. I took my tortoise to have his beak trimmed. I just wanted to let you know like me if your finding it hard to find a vet's that treat tortoise's Please give them a ring I managed to have appointment booked within a few days My time there with Mikey was perfect thank you so much for all your care

Alex has recently done a very difficult dental on one of my dogs .. she has a heart condition which caused concern… Alex was brilliant, and my little is doing great. I have great confidence in this vets

I highly recommend this practice. Alex and his team always go the extra mile to help, even squeezing you in to a busy schedule when you're worried about your pet. Alex always explains things fully and he's great with my cat, who isn't good at being handled by anyone other than me but allows Alex to do anything! I feel my cat is in very safe hands and that's so reassuring. Don't hesitate in registering your pet at this practice. You won't regret doing so!

I know how fortunate i am to be registered at such a wonderful veterinary practice. Alex has always been consistently thorough and faultless in his treatment of every pet I've brought to him. Namely my Guinea pigs, which is incredibly lucky that he is able to treat them being an exotic animal. Not an easy animal to treat, with lack of drugs available on the market, but he applies his common sense and knowledge and provides the best care possible. For this I'm forever grateful. after bringing in my leopard gecko in, Nicola was an amazing help! She was lovely; really easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. I had brought my leopard gecko in for a second opinion after getting some advice from another local vet who didn’t seem as knowledgeable as they claimed. I should have come straight here instead, now I know exactly where to go in the future. Nicola was not only a perfect vet at appointments, but she was really responsive to emails, being very vigilant, knowledgeable and helpful even before booking an appointment. I don’t usually leave reviews but the service was well worth praising and I will be going back if ever I need to! Of course I can only speak my experience with Nicola, but if she’s anything to go by, the vets at this practice seem to really care about their patients and their owners - they love and care deeply for animals, from your regular pets like cats and dogs, to rabbits, rodents and reptiles, it’s so blatant in how eager they are for the animals best care!

Always kind, helpful, and knowledgeable — very lucky to have you as our local vets! We even had to use the emergency night service on one occasion, and they were so prompt and efficient.

Nicola Donnelly is a phenomenal vet and easily one of the best I've encountered in 30+ years of pet ownership. Goes the extra mile and then some, genuinely caring and extremely knowledgeable. Takes her job seriously while being warm and approachable and always has time to explain complex topics etc. She (as well as the kind admin/nursing staff) is the reason I stayed with this practice, despite my moving out of the area.

Our rescue dog recently attended her annual visit for vaccine and check up. This is her third/fourth visit here, the first was during the covid period where she had to go in alone with the staff. As she had only been with us a short time and a reactive rescue we were probably as nervous as she was. She was fine and behaved for the staff. This latest visit she had a tender abdomen which appeared to be due to her glands. She was unusually reactive when having them emptied, (no dog probably enjoys this anyway), especially if it’s making you a little more uncomfortable than usual. The vet remained very calm and patient with her and suggested ways to calm her before future visits over a period of time to desensitise her. The vet remained professional throughout the consultation and considered the anxiety levels in our dog before proceeding with the next check, never making us feel like the appointment was taking too long and suggesting resources that may be useful as owners of a rescue dog. Taking on a rescue is never easy as they can be unpredictable. You never know how badly they have been mis-treated in the past and are constantly learning new triggers for them. Vet on the hill takes your pet at face value and shows them the same care and respect as a dog without ‘issues’, making you as the owner feel more relaxed on a visit.

We have experienced excellent, personal service from the surgery. They have looked after three of our previous dogs even to the extent of looking after us the owners.

Such a lovely vets! They have been seeing my Cat Bella since she was a kitten, they were brilliant with her from the day we first took her there and so caring. Bella was unfortunately given to me at 6 weeks old and wasn’t the healthiest but they brought her back to life and checked up on her with phone calls to see how she was. They really are so caring and brilliant with the animals in their care. I couldn’t recommend enough

I changed to this vets as it was nearer to where I moved to. I have 4 cats and every visit so far has been an absolute pleasure. The vets are caring, lovely people, the receptionists/nurses are efficient and very friendly.

My usual Vet had no availability for a week to trim my rabbits nails and they were in desperate need. I called around a few other Vets and understandably, some would not see me without me leaving my current Vet and registering with them instead which I won't do for various reasons. The Corner had no problem offering this one time service but treated me like I was a lifelong customer. So friendly, kind, professional and reasonably priced. They trimmed both my rabbits in minutes with the upmost care and made it look so easy. Will be using them all the time for trimming. Thank you and see you next month! X

Brilliant vets. Was not my regular (will be now) I needed a on the day appointment, the receptionist was so lovely! She was welcoming and very friendly. I called to let them know I was running late because I was trying to get a pre sample from a chihuahua. They were very understanding. The vet was absolutely lovely. She didn’t talk over me, let me explain everything properly. They don’t try to push extra unnecessary scans or medication. You can tell they care about the animals

Called the vets up with nowhere to look, they helped me in minutes and within the hour we picked the best path for my boy. You're in a better place now Jim Jams!

They looked after our cat who went missing at the end of last year. The team were fantastic and updated me throughout her stay until she could return home.

We’ve had excellent care over the past 24hours. Seen as an emergency on a Sunday morning with an injured dog paw. Bettie was so calm, caring and very patient with my anxious and in pain cockerpoo. She was thorough yet kept the distress to a minimum and ensured pain relief was working before attempting a more detailed exam. My dog needed surgery. This was prompt with immediate feedback and reassurance on the day that all was well. We have follow up dressings planned and because my dog is very sensitive and the dressing will be painful we have been given stronger medication to administer prior to this check up. Pricing is fare, and we used our insurance for this episode. We’ve been with Maven for over 20 years with various animals and always had very good care and seen lovely vets. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Really kind staff and clean premises as usual. They made my dog feel loved and always are happy to see him! Great visit. Whenever i asked questions the vets were always happy to answer them and gave plenty of information. Water is always kept out for the animals.

Reception staff and vets are all absolutely lovely. You can tell they are all true pet lovers and treat everyone with respect and empathy. I was seen at my booked time and greeted warmly by the vet. My cat was very nervous in the waiting area and the staff did all they could to reassure him (and me!). I would 100% recommend

We have got the VIP membership for the second year now and are very happy with the service. We recommend the vet practice to anyone in the Wimbledon area.

My dog is registered at Mitcham, but they had no appointments so booked here. The car park doesn’t have much room and if it’s full definitely park on a side road. I was told by the receptionist it would be fine to leave it anywhere by the car park but nearly got a ticket. The waiting area is quite poky and easily gets full, but the vet was brilliant. Reassured all of my concerns and came to a diagnosis quickly.

Great experience after my first visit today. Both of us (my cat and myself) were received and treated in a very welcoming way. Francesca as vet was amazing checking my cat, hearing my concerns and advising on her health. The receptionist lady (sorry, forgot her name) as well was very kind with us. Very happy to have such good people and service in the neighborhood.

This vet practice is so lovely. Having my two puppies registered here offers real peace of mind. All the vets we have seen have been just amazing with the boys. The reception staff are always warm and interact with the pups. They’re always very generous with the treats too, which the boys appreciate. The puppy plan and level of care is excellent value for money. You don’t feel ripped off with the treatment costs either. And they bent over backwards to correct a admin mistake and took full responsibility. You can tell everyone there really cares and loves animals.

I was able to get an appointment very quickly and felt very reassured with the outcome of my visit. I was giving options of treatment and we were able to discuss the best way to go ahead.

Really pleasant and stress free experience. Stephanie, the vet who saw both my cats was so gentle and knowledgeable I really appreciated her patience and kindness. Both cats were most grateful.

Bearded Dragon Sif - who is one of my Creature Companions at only 3+ years in age, did very much die of exhaustion from drowning recently, I did all that I could in reviving her to a conscience state and felt very sad that she was dying... I called CJ Hall Vets team - they were the only hope that Sif had for any immediate examination, and I will always appreciate to that end the endeavours that each and every one of them put effort into, to ensuring that not only did the Human Companion grow happy with the outstanding professional medical services delivered - BUT that the Creature Companion was put first, and I trust CJ Hall Vets for this very said reason. These guys saved me when my regular vet got very Shifty. They are great with rabbits and always a pleasure to deal with, i never feel like I'm being pressured into spending more money or having expensive tests done, it all feels genuinely in the interest of the animals. Would 150% recommend

Really thorough veterinary examination for my sick ferret. The vet is clearly an expert in exotic species and they go all out to do the best for your pet. Where most vets would just offer antibiotics for a chest infection, Matthew offered lots of diagnostic tests to rule out something more serious and even did some dental work while the ferret was unconscious anyway. If you don't have insurance and just want your pet to be treated asap for a reasonable cost, this is not the vet for you as it's really expensive. However if you want human-level healthcare for an exotic pet then 100% this is the place.

Churchill and I saw Matthew this morning he took the time to answer my questions listened to me and then gave clear answers. No hard sell just care and you could clearly see he knew what he was doing. Thank you we will see you next year for our pre winter check 🐢

Just back from my first visit to Avenue Road Vets. I'm so impressed I wanted to leave a review. At reception they picked up that my dog was thirsty, he was given a bowl of water, that was very caring and kind, they were super friendly and I was put at ease. We went in to see the vet James, he's really nice, very calm, my dog picked up on that and there was zero anxiety. Thanks to you all 🙏

I use this veterinary surgeons for more than two years and I have just nice things to say: nice receptionist, all the time I contacted the place she offered me a same day or next day appointment, great and gentle veterinarian. Clean place, parking for customers outside. Highly recommended
