Chose this vet after seeing the Google reviews and wasn’t disappointed. Alan was lovely with our puppy for her first vet visit and spent double the appointment slot to provide information and answer our questions. Puppy left more relaxed than when we arrived. Really happy I chose this vet, even though it isn’t the closest one to me.

After my dog pinched and swallowed the plastic netting from a joint of beef my regular vet couldn’t fit him in. Blackheath vets came to the rescue and saw him immediately. The kind staff helped him to be sick and he soon brought it back much to my relief. I really recommend this vet practice. Lovely friendly can-do staff and vets

I have visited twice recently with my cat Geir. Both times we got an appointment at short notice and the reception team was very friendly and professional. We've seen Carla and she's a lovely vet - takes time to listen and discuss options and is very kind and caring when handling Geir.

Brilliant vets! Have been with them for many years and they are highly skilled. I always recommend them. Dom, Alan and Gav ( as well as Ash in the past) are such good and caring Vets. You cannot get any more kind and knowledgeable Vets. The surgery works so well as the nurses there are so fab too, Kim and Mia are just a few of the lovely ones working there always trying to find appointments for you, keeping you calm and so supportive . I had all my dogs spayed there and some other procedures done at this great Vet.( Toggles just a few days ago) not only I know the OP is done by the best (Dom) but also the aftercare is amazing, fast callback after the OP, clear instructions. You always get written advice and a call back if all is ok. You will always be reminded via text when the next appointment is. Just a very perfect setting with amazing Vets. Most of all I love that all my dogs love the Vets. I love seeing how they give them not only the utmost medical care but also the cuddles and love .Thank you to all of you, Dom for being such a great Vet, and also Alan for helping us by going the extra mile when we were in desperate need for help with travel. I would highly recommend Medivet! The team and vets are absolutely amazing. My fur baby is a new patient, and they have treated him with the utmost care. Previously, we were at a different practice in Catford where the staff was very dismissive and frankly, quite horrible. My dog was suffering from ongoing ear infections and had a significant growth on one of his back legs, which the previous practice failed to address properly. It was truly a blessing in disguise when we were referred to Medivet, especially after the growth on his leg burst. From our very first appointment, all our questions and concerns were thoroughly addressed. They scheduled surgery to remove the growth the following week. I can’t recall the name of the vet who performed the surgery, but he was fantastic! I had a million questions, and he answered every single one without making me feel like I was bothering him. On the day of my dog’s surgery, I think I called the practice five times to check on him, and each time the staff was incredibly supportive and reassuring. Thank you, Medivet, for your exceptional care!

Great vet. I’m able to get same day appointments and the vet I’ve seen for the last few appointments over the last year and a half is fantastic. She cares greatly for the wellbeing of my cat and is very friendly and knowledge. Very grateful for a great local vet

Nico, Beth, Becs, Jamie and the whole team are brilliant at what they do. Extremely caring, professional and always go the extra mile for our girls. The care and treatment of pets is their priority and Catford Medivet definitely live up to that! Words can't express how grateful me and my husband Michael are for what you've done for us (including our three dogs) over the years. Highly recommended.

We had a problem with our son’s tortoise whilst my son was on holiday. The team at Medivet Catford were outstanding. They saw the tortoise quickly and were sympathetic but realistic on the options available and the potential outcome of each. It made a hard decision easy. When we collected the tortoise, they had made a fantastic effort to wrap him with care. Everything they did was carefully and respectfully done. Truly outstanding service which we very much appreciated.

You can tell that people love what they are doing by only entering the lobby. My cat was the best indication of the good vibes in the clinic. Usually she is quite nervous from the moment we enter the vets. But this time she was relaxed, and was looking around with interest. It was funny how she recognised the cat in the picture on the wall, and was examining it for a few minutes. The personnel are very friendly and caring. My cat gave the nurse a cuddle. Even though we had the evening appointment the doctor was attentive and cheerful. And his approach to the problem gave me confidence he is trying his best to find out the reason for the problem and solve it. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need.

Really happy with my first visit with my new puppy. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Jason the vet was really helpful and informative. Left feeling that we are in safe hands. Also appreciate the nicely designed space, which really adds to the experience.

I loved the calm environment in Whisker and Woof as well as the gentle demeanour of everyone working there. This was my first time visiting. Jason is an experienced vet and showed his concern for the well-being of my cat who was so relaxed during the examination. The practice is also so beautifully decorated which adds to the calming atmosphere.

I am very pleased about the treatment our cat received and super excited to bring the rest of my cats here. We were seen by Jason who looks like a very experienced vet and actually cares about animals. He was very gentle and didn't want to pressure our cat who is a bit frail. We took our very senior cat to fix its dental issues but Jason told us that general anesthesia is not possible due to the cat being underweight and the fact that it has more serious underlying problems. I was completely oblivious to those health issues but Jason explained why they're serious and what they could be. He suggested blood tests first to see what the problem is and then address the dental stuff. Not many vets are that responsible and caring. The receptionist is the nicest and kindest person. She gave us clear instructions about the medication and explained the costs and everything. The place itself is very cozy and has a très chic aesthetic to it. It doesn't smell weird or anything and is super clean. The total cost was very reasonable given the quality of the treatment and Jason was kind enough to see us twice within the day to take a blood sample. Overall I'm very pleased with the treatment we've received so far and I wouldn't even consider going to another vet.

From my family point of view, it turned out to be a sad but necessary visit. It was an emergency for our cat. I called in the morning, explained the situation and was told to bring him straight in. As soon as we got there we didn't wait. He was taken straight in. The staff were friendly, helpful and sympathetic. Can not fault them.

My dog was seriously ill they did everything they could with empathy and professionalism. Although he passed, all avenues had been looked at before doing what was best for him in the long run. I thank them for being honest and taking the time to discuss with us all the options and potential risks to my families beloved dog Bob's life. They were caring and compassionate in a very difficult time and did the best they could for Bob.

I’ve registered all my fur babies at Medivet in Greenwich and wouldn’t hesitate to register any future babies there. I’ve recommended it to friends and family who always tell me how happy they are with the care and expertise they receive. Everything is easy, booking appointments, seeking advice, repeat prescriptions. The staff are always friendly and patient. They treat my cats and myself respectfully and always make us feel special. I can’t fault this practice.

I called 25/7/24 and spoke to Marline who was reassuring, informative and most professional. My appointment was then booked for later that day which was brilliant as I felt my dog was poorly. The Vet we saw, Lyanne was calm and charming, thorough and super professional. Lots of good advice given and appreciated. The waiting room has treats, water etc. and staff welcoming. This vets is superb. All the staff are kind to both pets and owners, experienced and knowledgeable and really respectful. The veterinary Magda has cared for our cats since they were kittens and we have followed her as she moved jobs. Cannot recommend her highly enough.

We had the best experience today at Mayow Veterinary surgery. Our greyhound ripped her dew claw on a walk and they saw us immediately. The vet, Alex was fantastic. He was incredibly kind and gave her the best care. He also gave us a lesson in how to get a fussy dog to take a pill! The nurse, Kate was also great as were the friendly and very welcoming receptionists, Toni and Vanessa. All round a great experience and we were so grateful to get the claw removed and the paw bandaged so quickly. Thank you!

Mayow practice was recommended on my local Greyhound group and I registered very easily and quickly. My hound has been very poorly and was treated by another practice as I was out of London. I felt very reassured during our consultation with Alice that she knew what Lenny needed immediately and how this could be achieved. She literally had him eating out of her hand and he had eaten very little in the preceding days so that was a wonderful thing to witness. He is not out of the woods but hopefully on the road to recovery. The staff definitely have a soft spot for greyhounds!

My first time at this vets and I was very pleased with the service and the vet “Anna” who dealt with my dogs tail in injury. I was nervous about changing from my old vets, but now I’m very confident and will be happy to return when needed. I highly recommend Paxton veterinary clinic gipsy road.

I have two cats and just recently added a puppy to our family Paxton Vets in Gypsy Hill is one of the most friendliest vets that I have ever encountered. The staff are lovely helpful understanding and would go the extra mile. They don’t only pay attention to you but also to your pet, they create a calm atmosphere so all my pets feel comfortable going to the vets

I found Paxton vets for my 2 bunny rabbits after moving from the USA to France to the UK. It is very hard to find experienced rabbit veterinarians (especially in a new country). But Paxton Vets treat them so well, with such gentle kindness and always listen intently to my concerns so I feel heard and understood. They are clearly knowledgeable with rabbits and I trust them. Whenever I have a question the vet herself gets back to me (same day) via email with the answers I need, suggestions, etc. It is clear customer and pet care are of top priority here at Paxton Vets (Gipsy Road) - many thanks!

This isn’t our usual vet - which is 150 miles away - but am now registered for when we are in London with our Tibetan, Ted. I am extremely glad we found such an excellent practice. Our 12 year old dog became ill suddenly and it was very worrying. Everyone I interacted with on the phone and at the practice was lovely & Jill, the vet was thorough and very reassuring. Thank you.

We adopted a wonderful cat from CHAT Lewisham just over a year ago and we could not be more happier with our gorgeous boy. He was a bit nervous to begin with but over time has grown into a confident boy and now he rules the roost. Thank you to Naomi, Ruth, Leslie, Linda and all of the staff for their care with both him and us. They matched us up with several cats when we came to view and we were able to take our time with our decision. Super professional, friendly and they work so hard all hours of the day to save and rehome abandoned cats. Highly recommend them as a cat rehoming charity!

Their reception staff and vet are super friendly and helpful. He was shaking so much when I took him out to vet for the first time, and they made him feel very comfortable and safe, in the end he fallen asleep on the vet table 😂 Vaccine 💉 was like nothing happened, he didn’t cry at all. The monthly plan can be a good choice if you decide to get all the vaccines and worming treatments done with them.
