I can't knock the professionalism of companion care Crayford, Alice and suzanna are just perfect in times of need and just normal consultations, they say it as it is and no sugar coating, brilliant bed side manner too, they care about your pet and you too. I can't forget the excellence reception staff either, always on point, always cheerful and there to help. 15/10 and recommend

The receptionists are caring, helpful and compassionate. The many vets I have seen here have all been excellent over the last 10 years or so. A very special shout out to a lovely vet, Alice. A true god send and a beautiful soul who managed to remove a chicken bone from my cats throat and on a hunch carried out some further tests. My cat has now been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, is receiving medication and due to have treatment soon. Even now she has a new lease of life. Thankyou so much to such a wonderful team

Sadly, my cat had to be euthanized. The vet was so kind and gave me time to call my daughter so she could come and say goodbye. She was very gentle with her and it was a peaceful end.

I have visited twice recently with my cat Geir. Both times we got an appointment at short notice and the reception team was very friendly and professional. We've seen Carla and she's a lovely vet - takes time to listen and discuss options and is very kind and caring when handling Geir.

We’ve been with this vet for over two years now, and it’s hands down the best veterinary practice we’ve ever visited. Before finding them, we tried a few other clinics, but none compared to the level of care and professionalism here. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the vet is amazing—always happy to help and genuinely caring about the animals. We’re so grateful to have found them!

Chose this vet after seeing the Google reviews and wasn’t disappointed. Alan was lovely with our puppy for her first vet visit and spent double the appointment slot to provide information and answer our questions. Puppy left more relaxed than when we arrived. Really happy I chose this vet, even though it isn’t the closest one to me.

After my dog pinched and swallowed the plastic netting from a joint of beef my regular vet couldn’t fit him in. Blackheath vets came to the rescue and saw him immediately. The kind staff helped him to be sick and he soon brought it back much to my relief. I really recommend this vet practice. Lovely friendly can-do staff and vets

What a amazing place, Manuel and Mia was just fab, I phoned in a panic, as my 4 year old Cockerpoo had eaten quite a bit of 85% dark chocholate, half hour ago, Mia booked her in straight away, and Manuel was in Surgery, saw me and took her in straight away, gave her a Iv drip and made her sick She bought up lots of chocolate so let’s pray she’s ok Many thanks team🐾🐾🐾

First visit to get my cat neutered after some good recommendations, and everything was brilliant. The reception staff were absolutely lovely, and so was the nurse who called to update me after it was done. It's by far the cheapest place I had found, but the service did not at all reflect that. I also got lucky enough to meet the resident cat, Potato, and, well, as a cat lover, that just made it even better! Thank you!

Yesterday I popped into thamesmead practice for advise and I must say how helpful and professional the lady was. I purchased what I thought was a 8 week old jack Russell I didn't believe it was that old.The receptionist booked me a app for today so a vet could check him over I went to my app it was on time not like the PDSA .The vet checked my Boris over and confirmed he was only 6 weeks but then he advised me to book his injections for -3 weeks time .When I left I was told because it was a puppy check my visit was free today very impressed is a under statement thanks again

not a bad word to say about this vets! my cat has been registered here for about 7 months now - she has had her vaccinations here, monthly check ups, an ear infection treated and recently neutered. they‘ve been nothing but informative, present and also very reasonably priced! i pay £17.50 a month for my cat’s flea and worming treatment as well as discounts on anything else we may need (such as her recent surgery)! me and serafina really appreciate everyone here at goddard vet’s! thank you for everything you do! 10/10!

Everyone is always polite and welcoming. I feel that I am listened to and never rushed by the vet. The admin team always tries to be accommodating with appointments. My dog has always been seen on the day if I felt he needed to be, which really lowers stress levels when you’re worried about your fur baby.

SUPERB INDEPENDENT VETERINARY PRACTICE. All the staff are professional, caring and kind to both patients and their owners. Diagnosis and treatment is explained in plain English and easy to understand. Very reasonably priced. Good opening hours. Plenty of parking. No hard sell. I would not go anywhere else nowadays.

We had our cat neutered yesterday and all members were very caring and helpful. The vet called us on the way home and let me ask a bunch of questions and answered each one in detail. Very patient and kind of her to make sure all my concerns were addressed. We will definitely be coming back since we were very pleased with the quality of service!

Everyone here is amazing! 10/10, Rebekah and Imogen are THE loveliest nurses that we’ve ever met - actually all of the staff at Goddards have been wonderful. I’m happy that the Barking Branch always look after my 3 pets (Bella, Jeff and Cinnamon) Rebekah is always such a happy and lovely lady to welcome us. Bella absolutely loves Danny! We were very sad when Jose left but Danny has been very kind and helpful, always giving us the best advice and making sure we get the right treatment for our pets! I would 100% recommend coming to this vets!

I have been there since from june coupl of time with my Princess (cat). The very first time Dani who treat my Princess he is kind, he is look after my Princess very carefully, and explaning every treatment for me easy way, all for this I am very greatful. I would not take my animals anywhere else. They are so caring loving and kind. I get honest opinions with them. They cared for my last dog until the very end of his nearly 15 years on this planet. He loved visiting the staff and they supported me so much when it was time to make that very hard decision and made a difficult time much easier. Unfortunately they now have to deal with my new fur monster 😄

Our miniature schnauzer Ralphy is more than happy to go to the vet, Gordon, Leanne and Jennifer all make him feel so comfortable, that he has a pleasant experience, even after having an operation, surprisingly, he still walks in looking forward to seeing them all. Great vet brilliant care and treatment of my pet. The vet was open and transparent regarding my pets health treatment and costs and was very approachable friendly and professional. This isn’t our usual vet - which is 150 miles away - but am now registered for when we are in London with our Tibetan, Ted. I am extremely glad we found such an excellent practice. Our 12 year old dog became ill suddenly and it was very worrying. Everyone I interacted with on the phone and at the practice was lovely & Jill, the vet was thorough and very reassuring. Thank you.
