I can't knock the professionalism of companion care Crayford, Alice and suzanna are just perfect in times of need and just normal consultations, they say it as it is and no sugar coating, brilliant bed side manner too, they care about your pet and you too. I can't forget the excellence reception staff either, always on point, always cheerful and there to help. 15/10 and recommend

Sadly, my cat had to be euthanized. The vet was so kind and gave me time to call my daughter so she could come and say goodbye. She was very gentle with her and it was a peaceful end.

The receptionists are caring, helpful and compassionate. The many vets I have seen here have all been excellent over the last 10 years or so. A very special shout out to a lovely vet, Alice. A true god send and a beautiful soul who managed to remove a chicken bone from my cats throat and on a hunch carried out some further tests. My cat has now been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, is receiving medication and due to have treatment soon. Even now she has a new lease of life. Thankyou so much to such a wonderful team

I have visited twice recently with my cat Geir. Both times we got an appointment at short notice and the reception team was very friendly and professional. We've seen Carla and she's a lovely vet - takes time to listen and discuss options and is very kind and caring when handling Geir.

Brilliant vets! Have been with them for many years and they are highly skilled. I always recommend them. Dom, Alan and Gav ( as well as Ash in the past) are such good and caring Vets. You cannot get any more kind and knowledgeable Vets. The surgery works so well as the nurses there are so fab too, Kim and Mia are just a few of the lovely ones working there always trying to find appointments for you, keeping you calm and so supportive . I had all my dogs spayed there and some other procedures done at this great Vet.( Toggles just a few days ago) not only I know the OP is done by the best (Dom) but also the aftercare is amazing, fast callback after the OP, clear instructions. You always get written advice and a call back if all is ok. You will always be reminded via text when the next appointment is. Just a very perfect setting with amazing Vets. Most of all I love that all my dogs love the Vets. I love seeing how they give them not only the utmost medical care but also the cuddles and love .Thank you to all of you, Dom for being such a great Vet, and also Alan for helping us by going the extra mile when we were in desperate need for help with travel. We’ve been with this vet for over two years now, and it’s hands down the best veterinary practice we’ve ever visited. Before finding them, we tried a few other clinics, but none compared to the level of care and professionalism here. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the vet is amazing—always happy to help and genuinely caring about the animals. We’re so grateful to have found them!

After my dog pinched and swallowed the plastic netting from a joint of beef my regular vet couldn’t fit him in. Blackheath vets came to the rescue and saw him immediately. The kind staff helped him to be sick and he soon brought it back much to my relief. I really recommend this vet practice. Lovely friendly can-do staff and vets

Yesterday I popped into thamesmead practice for advise and I must say how helpful and professional the lady was. I purchased what I thought was a 8 week old jack Russell I didn't believe it was that old.The receptionist booked me a app for today so a vet could check him over I went to my app it was on time not like the PDSA .The vet checked my Boris over and confirmed he was only 6 weeks but then he advised me to book his injections for -3 weeks time .When I left I was told because it was a puppy check my visit was free today very impressed is a under statement thanks again

First visit to get my cat neutered after some good recommendations, and everything was brilliant. The reception staff were absolutely lovely, and so was the nurse who called to update me after it was done. It's by far the cheapest place I had found, but the service did not at all reflect that. I also got lucky enough to meet the resident cat, Potato, and, well, as a cat lover, that just made it even better! Thank you!

not a bad word to say about this vets! my cat has been registered here for about 7 months now - she has had her vaccinations here, monthly check ups, an ear infection treated and recently neutered. they‘ve been nothing but informative, present and also very reasonably priced! i pay £17.50 a month for my cat’s flea and worming treatment as well as discounts on anything else we may need (such as her recent surgery)! me and serafina really appreciate everyone here at goddard vet’s! thank you for everything you do! 10/10!

Everyone here is amazing! 10/10, Rebekah and Imogen are THE loveliest nurses that we’ve ever met - actually all of the staff at Goddards have been wonderful. I’m happy that the Barking Branch always look after my 3 pets (Bella, Jeff and Cinnamon) Rebekah is always such a happy and lovely lady to welcome us. Bella absolutely loves Danny! We were very sad when Jose left but Danny has been very kind and helpful, always giving us the best advice and making sure we get the right treatment for our pets! I would 100% recommend coming to this vets!

you can tell the staff really care about each pet that they take on, absolutely amazing service and great staff :) accidentally arrived two hours earlier than my appointment but it was no problem for them, managed to fit me in and send me off within that hour itself

I would not take my animals anywhere else. They are so caring loving and kind. I get honest opinions with them. They cared for my last dog until the very end of his nearly 15 years on this planet. He loved visiting the staff and they supported me so much when it was time to make that very hard decision and made a difficult time much easier. Unfortunately they now have to deal with my new fur monster 😄

Our cat Vienna was lost for a few days, we found him with a kind lovely neighbor Linda, Unfortunately he was dehydrated which we immediately took him to Goddard’s without appointment. All though the Dr was preparing to go to the theatre for surgery but she attended to us. We are so grateful and a big thank you to all the staff. They were very kind helpful and Polite. Amazing vet practice. Elena and the team at Goddard Ilford are genuinely angels and I cannot thank them enough. Elena is an expert on all things small pets, my regular vet in Loughton referred me to her when our hybrid dwarf hamster, Ponyo, needed surgery for a lump on his belly. Ponyo is an older boy (at nearly 3 years old) so surgery was obviously a bit of a risk, but I had no worries knowing that he was in the safest hands possible with the team here. Elena talked us through the technique she would use for the anaesthetic, how the day of surgery would go and presented us the available options in a clear way. She obviously really loves animals, and she was so kind with us and our hamster. The surgery was a total success and Ponyo is a new man, he has a completely new lease on life and is dashing around his cage like a hamster half his age. I would recommend anyone with a small pet to go here and I know they're also especially good with cats; in our visits to the practice we saw all manner of different animals: dogs, cats, birds, bearded dragons and even a pygmy hedgehog! It's a busy practice, but the staff are still very compassionate and friendly. Thank you again 💓

Everyone is always polite and welcoming. I feel that I am listened to and never rushed by the vet. The admin team always tries to be accommodating with appointments. My dog has always been seen on the day if I felt he needed to be, which really lowers stress levels when you’re worried about your fur baby.

We had our cat neutered yesterday and all members were very caring and helpful. The vet called us on the way home and let me ask a bunch of questions and answered each one in detail. Very patient and kind of her to make sure all my concerns were addressed. We will definitely be coming back since we were very pleased with the quality of service!

This isn’t our usual vet - which is 150 miles away - but am now registered for when we are in London with our Tibetan, Ted. I am extremely glad we found such an excellent practice.
