I’m so annoyed…… that I didn’t register with MediVet sooner! First impressions have exceeded expectations. Super friendly, welcoming and considerate staff. My cat has been costing me a small fortune in hyperthyroidism management and Lisa, the vet, was so empathetic regarding the costs. I was advised to let the practice know if I was struggling and they would do what they could to help. I’ve never experienced a vets practice that cares about cost concerns. I was also charged considerably less than my previous vet for blood tests which was a lovely surprise. If only I’d changed practices earlier I would have been much happier with the service and saved hundreds of pounds. Well done MediVet and shout out to the veterinary nurse, Helen, for her fantastic people skills. Please keep up the good work! It’s very much appreciated.

We took our poorly stewie down on 4th Jan sadly we lost him had he been younger he could have been saved. Premier vets could not have been more helpful professional and compassionate to our special boy. His passing was certainly easier to handle that day. Superb vets. I would highly recommend registering with the practice for many reasons. They are extremely busy, if you want first rate service, get your pet registered so as not to have disappointment when you need help. They are amazing! I sadly had to say goodbye to my little one yesterday. She was well known for being a 'character'. She picked and chose, throughout the years, which vets she would let treat her, vets can't mind read and pets cannot talk, but working together, we got there, and l hope they agree with me it was done with grace and humour! From the bottom of my heart l cannot thank you enough for all you did for her. Rose, was outstanding at the end of my little one's journey. Thank you for those brave enough to tackle her, and those who were swiftly dismissed by her. Quality, caring and knowledgeable service. Best wishes and much love to each and every one of you. I cannot thank the staff at Scott Mitchell's for the wonderful care shown to my grandsons dog Merlin. I truly believe they saved his life. We took him just before Christmas and we had started to think we wouldn't get him home. He's an old lurcher, suffering from severe dehydration and a high temperature. Thanks to the dedication of Rose, Sophie and all the wonderful nurses we got him home. Throughout this time I was very anxious about the costs, as my grandson couldn't afford to insure him. The staff were thankfully very aware of my concerns. Whilst giving him everything he needed, they didn't put him thorough any unnecessary "tests" only the ones he needed to aid his recovery. I know that not all veterinary practices are this honest. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you all. I'm normally a client at Tow Law but due to needing 24 hour care we were with the Hexham practice this time. I've always highly recommended the wonderful Sally and Becky for everything they've done for my little dog, but now add all of the Hexham staff to my list. I'd highly recommend both of these practices and their amazing staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went with maggie as she wasn't eating. The vet suspected an infection and a hour later she was opperated on . Pick her this morning and she is doing fine ,well done to the team

I can’t thanks Scott Mitchell’s enough. Arlo, our Staffordshire Bull Terrier is now back to his old self following major surgery and that is due entirely to the professionalism and care from absolutely everyone at the practice. Highly recommended and would give more stars if I could!

Absolutely incredible team of vets, nurses and receptionists working to make sure you and your beloved pet receive the best care and treatment possible. Special mention to Dr Davison who recently operated on Aggie to remove a lump from her neck. All follow up telephone conversations were friendly and informative, thank you to Dr Brodie and Dr Shook. The owners of this very unique practice must be very proud of their achievements. Please always stay independent, this is what makes you standout from the rest! My experience was short as my pet passed away before COVID but she was 19 years and had cancer which was expected since she was so old. (She's the tortoise shell) they were brilliant with her. However I recently got a new pet, jet (black shorthair) and my partner registered him online it's took more then a month and I still haven't gotten a call to get him an appointment. We need a chip for him and we've just had no communication at all. [EDIT] Had to go into the vets to actually get an appointment and they got me in practically straight away!

Great vet brilliant care and treatment of my pet. The vet was open and transparent regarding my pets health treatment and costs and was very approachable friendly and professional. They're been superb at putting my pet and me as her owner at ease and gave me confidence Lilly was in safe hands. They entirely removed any idea that they might in any way be treating for treating sake they only did what was needed and they did it well. I was highly impressed

I cannot speak highly enough of the vets and all staff here. Major lifeline for our pets and the staff are so lovely and caring, I always walk away wishing I was incredibly rich so I can pour money into this place because they've saved two of my pets lives now, and one had very little chance yet she's all good now five years on! Always great advice when your worried 😊

Visited the pet hospital today to sadly have my sisters dog put to sleep what was an awful decision have to say Morag and the team were amazing so support caring and helpful made such a awful decision so lovely by the care attention but dignity they showed to both me and my sister and Tyne our family pet for 14 years they were so caring and thank you from the bottom of my heart xxx the care and attention you gave Tyne was amazing xxx

Have been with Tyne vet’s since 2005. Rang in the afternoon for a non urgent problem and appointment given same day. Really thorough examination given with future options discussed too.

Very friendly staff and always a good experience with the vets we see there. Hercules, our pug, is never anxious when visiting here so that's a good sign!

Vet totally made Tig feel at ease before starting treatment. Previous visit they examined him on the floor to keep him calm. Professional and thorough throughout so would definitely recommend

The best vets I’ve ever taken my fur babies to! I’ve moved a 25 minute drive away and still take my dog Sammy for monthly injections here because I couldn’t imagine taking her anywhere else. The team at Willows is incredible, they are so genuine and caring about the animals and their care is always of the highest standards. Highly recommended.

Staff are always so friendly and helpful whether in booking appointments or sorting tablet collections everyone always makes a fuss of your dog. Never have to wait long for an appointment which is always reassuring.
