Dr Lawson strikes the perfect balance between learning and enjoying the lessons and his expertise in the maths and sciences really shows in the way he can transform a complicated topic into something that is easy to understand. I came in with a predicted C and got a strong A at A levels, showing that he is a master of his craft and makes the lessons very enjoyable.

I started having tutoring from Andrew when I failed my Chemistry foundation course and needed to resit the exam within only a few months. Andrew was adaptable, patient and supportive. He managed to fit around my schedule and although I was on a short time period for my resit exam he made sure we had enough time to cover everything we needed to without it feeling too overwhelming. In just two months I went from a fail to getting a 1st class result in my chemistry - all thanks to Andrew.

I want to congratulate Brian Pennock for the online maths tuition he recently gave to my daughter. I cannot speak highly enough of Kip McGrath Newcastle North. My daughter managed to pass her resit GCSE maths, moving from a GRADE 2 to a GRADE 4 in just 6 weeks. Brian was an excellent teacher, he found her weak points very quickly and strengthened them. My daughter said the lessons were always interesting and enjoyable and she looked forward to them, instead of the usual dread that comes with incomprehension. Brian also encouraged her to have confidence in herself and to believe that she had the skills necessary to pass the exam - WELL DONE BRIAN!

The teaching staff at Kip McGrath based on Gosforth High Street near Newcastle upon Tyne have made an enormous positive impact in our child’s education confidence and therefore life. There approach takes into consideration the individuality and learning style of each child unlike the main stream education approach in schools which seem to regard and teach children as being all the same. I reached out to League of learning as my son was struggling with English literature and was unhappy with his GCSE mock grades. He knew he had to improve to be able to study his chosen A levels so we contacted League of learning. My son is shy and not very confident. Rakin made him feel at ease and comfortable very quickly and within a couple of lessons I could see a huge difference in my son. His confidence grew so much and his whole attitude towards all his exams was so positive. We've just received his GCSEs results this week and my son achieved 2 grades higher than he did in his English literature mock exam. He also achieved a grade higher in all his other GCSEs subjects too! Thank you Rakin and League of learning!

What a special online tutor! Fabulous weekly maths sessions with a brilliant tutor who keeps our son engaged and wanting to learn. Which is no easy task! The difference in our sons confidence in maths is huge. He also has 121 sessions with a TA at school but he made no significant progress in 2 years, with the tutor it is amazing. I would hugely recommend, we are hoping to add English tutoring shortly, that's how much we rate this company.

My son has been attending Kip since 2017, he struggled with his handwriting and confidence during maths lessons. After a few weeks we noticed a huge improvement and his confidence has grown dramatically over the years. His teachers have commented on how advanced he has become in maths and how he can quickly he can work things out, he's no longer embarrassed to put his hand up, it's amazing. I cannot thank the ladies at Kip enough for what they have done, and even more so during this Covid 19 crisis with online live video lessons. These have been an absolute god send for us, as I have struggled with home schooling my son. If anyones child is struggling, please contact Helen, you honestly won't regret it.
