My daughter has become so confident with her maths, and it is now one of her favourite subjects. It is purely down to this regular class as it has given her the regular broad practice she needed and it has built her confidence.  You really cant do this at home. I have now understood the importance to cover a breadth of the maths and continually go back to all areas. This is exactly what this course has done for her. Wish I  had known about you sooner! She really enjoys the small class size and looks forward to seeing her teacher and group each week. Please start a high school class!!!

My daughter loves her lessons at Richmond Tuition and looks forward to going there every Saturday. She has been going for a year now to push her ahead of her school work. She's currently having lessons with Lucy, but had also worked in the past with Niall. They have been both brilliant and their classes have been very enjoyable. I recommend these classes to anyone whose children either need extra help or want to work ahead.

I would definitely recommend Richmond Tuition. Great staff who are supportive, insightful and enthusiastic. My son has really enjoyed attending and Shane is a fantastic teacher. My son has benefitted hugely from smaller class sizes at this tutor group alongside his usual class of 30 at school. He has also made good friends there and he has found it to be invaluable and a great way to get more focused help and attention. My son has also enjoyed this form of small group tutoring rather than one on one tutoring. He has found it engaging, challenging and fun! So glad we found Richmond Tuition.

We highly recommend Maryam and her team at Kumon East Sheen. Our 7 year old son has been doing both English and Maths for over a year now and we have seen his capacity and confidence improve dramatically in both areas. We first approached Maryam because our son was falling behind at school and had gaps in his understanding. The Kumon methodology has worked brilliantly for him, combined with the warmth, patience and positivity of his Kumon teachers and the considerable experience they bring to their teaching. I have been using Kumon for the past 3 years and it has contributed to a dramatic turnaround. It does require perseverance from a parent, but the support that Maryam and her team provide at the East Sheen Kumon Centre is excellent. Children get motivation with prizes (for completing milestones), annual awards for performance and class contact (video or face-2-face). I would highly recommend Kumon.

Kumon East Sheen is a great learning centre for extra Maths & English. My Son is doing maths and making fantastic progress. Even during this lockdown he has been able to continue with his Kumon worksheets everyday and he has attended an online class once a week. It has helped my son feel secure, as it’s one part of life that hasn’t changed. He knows what to expect and it’s part of everyday life. It definitely provides the extra maths practice that school generally doesn’t have time to provide.

Headway Tutors seem to have a great network of tutors available and have been brilliant for us. Clare was great in really taking the time to understand our needs and to get us set up with right tutor which worked brilliantly for us. Amy, our tutor is absolutely fantastic! Truly. She is a professional, personable and passionate teacher who has built an incredible rapport with our daughter and us as a family. Structured in her approach with amazing ability to just get the best out of the weekly session with our daughter. After spending three months with Headway Tutors on Biology and German (through Zooms meetings), our daughter has achieved not only greater confidence in the two subjects, which she fell fallen a bit behind at school during the pandemic, but also top marks. Both tutors have worked well with our daughter, helped her to regain her momentum and build a solid foundation to prepare herself for GSCE exams next year. My daughter has only started learning German with Alessa for 2 months, yet she says she has got a better understanding of German language than the last 24 months of learning German at school. This is evidenced by my daughter's consistently high marks in German this term and her confidence in using the language at school. Our daughter thinks that Clare is very indept and gives clear explanations on difficult and complex topics. Our daughter has made significant improvements in Chemistry, gained consistently higher Chemistry marks (at school's exams) which can be attributed to her 1-2-1 lessons with Clare.

Nick is an excellent maths tutor. He has been tutoring my son for GCSE maths, and the improvement has been remarkable. My son was originally predicted to get a C, but after Nick’s tutoring, he achieved an A in his exam practice. We’re now eagerly awaiting his GCSE results. I have used the service of Keystone Tutor preparing for 11 plus exam, for a period of roughly six months. Process of onboarding was really efficient and swift, tutoring of great quality. We have been helped to match to our needs with the perfect tutor - Donal Coonan. The key feature of the tutor was the very engaging tone that kept my ten-year-old boy really interested in the session. Quality of the explanation was really good, giving an intuitive sense on how to approach a problem. I looked for an essay writing summer tutor for my children as I feel the English system does not focus on teaching children how to present analytical thinking in written form but rather mainly on content. It seems to be assumed that the children will find their way to writing good essays (and clearly many do). However, coming from the American system, in which the process of HOW to write a good essay is taught almost as a standalone subject, I felt that my children would be best served going into a writing task with the strongest possible toolset so that the ideas and ultimately what to write would become their only challenge. How to write would be second nature. I contacted Tania at Uber Tutors after a lot of research and, via her incredibly personalised interview approach, she matched a fantastic tutor with my children. Over the course of the summer, they learned how to structure, present and write an argument. They also learned how to incorporate evidence, be it literary, historical or data driven. Not only do they now approach every school essay confidently (dare I say enthusiastically?) but their teachers have mentioned their writing skills to me across the curriculum. I cannot thank Tania and Uber Tutors enough.

Uber tutors helped my son to improve from year 8 level(when he was at year 10) to year 11 within one year. They have a very good system that starts by assessing the the level of the child and then recommended the lessons required. However it doesn't end there. They also consider the child's personality and meticulously find the best tutor who would mach with the child. Prior to Uber tutors we tried a few other companies but none had a proper system in place. The tutors are very knowledgeable and helpful. There's clear and effective communication between the teacher and parents and a detailed feedback provided at the end of each and every lesson. As a result, our son passed his GCSES with very good results. Thank you Uber tutors.

I completed the Essay Crash Course during the summer before my final year at university. I hugely benefited from the process as I learned skills to finally understand what a university essay demands in order to achieve a first. This course closed the huge gap in teaching how to write a university level essay. I now feel equipped to complete my final year and hope to increase my marks from a 2:1 to a first as a result of the valuable tools learned during the course. My matched tutor was really helpful and gave in-depth explanations to give me confidence in the new method of writing, something I did not learn at university. During the course I worked on an example question from one of my university papers with my tutor which was a hugely valuable exercise. I now have a worked example alongside the explanations given during the sessions which I will use throughout my final year. I will now implement what I have learned from this course and make significant changes to my work which I hope will be the difference between a 2:1 and first class degree.

Giuliano helped me to achieve a grade A in maths A-Levels and I honestly could not have done it without his incredible support. He is super friendly and approachable. I always felt very comfortable to ask him to go over a question or topic that I didn't understand. He always explained key concepts very well, that had not been taught in school yet. This allowed me to get ahead and spend more time practicing exam questions rather than learning theory. As well as that he pushed me to become familiar with challenging questions so that questions in the actual exam did not seem daunting. Giuliano was always readily available. There was multiple times where I reached out to him via messaging to help me with a question I was stuck on even with the mark scheme.
