Jacques took the time to come to the house to inspect the lock and give me a quote. He was so approachable, competent, and friendly that I asked him to examine other locks. He provided a very reasonable quote. In the end, the work was more complex than anticipated, but he delivered a high-quality solution and billed me based on the initial quote. I thought this was particularly fair, considering he returned multiple times until it was perfect and spent considerable amount of time addressing all the snags, making the final invoice seem really reasonable. Overall, a brilliant experience.

Spent several hours on a Monday morning looking for my car keys to no avail. Couldn’t risk not getting to work again so contacted auto locksmith. Geoff was extremely friendly and efficient at fixing not only our original call-out issue, but a secondary longstanding issue of a broken off key in our MaxLight sliding door. A previous locksmith had told us we would need to completely remove the door to get the key out, but Geoff got it out in no more than a minute! Would definitely use again in the future.

I was so impressed with SMS Locksmith when I lost my keys (dropped down our lift shaft 🤦‍♀️) this morning. I was panicking as I had a train to catch in order to go and visit a sick family member but they got Mihai to call me back very quickly and he arrived to help me within 40 minutes (quicker than I’d expected given it was rush hour). He was so kind and friendly as well as being very efficient and professional in drilling out the old lock and replacing it. I called them around 8:10am and was back inside my flat with a new lock and keys in under an hour. They charged £210 for the whole job which Mihai told me up front and I thought was totally reasonable for the parts and labour - I was expecting it to be twice that much given some of the horror stories I’ve heard from friends about paying through the nose for emergency locksmith call-outs in London. I wouldn’t hesitate to call SMS Locksmith again if I ever lock myself out in future and as many other reviews have said Mihai is an absolute star!
