I would not hesitate to recommend J C Locksmiths. I had reason to call them out, as i could not get the safe open. Jason came over within a couple. of hours. He was ever so efficient, helpful, trustworthy, and professional. He would not give up, even when the safe wouldn't budge! He tried everything, and eventually got the safe open after an hour and a half! Thank you Jason for all your hard work. Much appreciated.

Quick arrival and great professional work! Fitted/ replaced door drive as it was cracked from wear and tear. Also adjusted the door as it was out of line. Also showed us how to use the door properly as new tenants we have been using it incorrectly for a while due to the wear and tear. Fair pricing and happy with the service. Thank you!

Recommended to my by a neighbour and did a really good job, explaining what the problem was (a worn out "curtain", part of the mechanism that retracts the bolt) and recommending and fitting a deadlock that conforms to the current British Standard. Job well done.

One of the best tradesman I have worked with, Mick was incredibly patient, determined and friendly throughout. He realigned a knackered door for me which admittedly was not straightforward and by no means a '5 minute job'. I was highly impressed by his commitment to try and fix the problem as now the door opens and closes with ease. We called Si a few weeks before a house move to enquire about changing locks at our new place. He gave a rough estimate and asked us to call him out once we had our keys. We did exactly that, and he came the very same day to change our front and rear door locks. Si was incredibly friendly, efficient, professional and knowledgeable. He also gave us additional advice about our doors and generally securing the property which was very welcome and helpful. The charges were reasonable too. The team has helped us out of a horrible situation caused by bad delivery of a household appliance which resulted in the door locking mechanism getting completely ruined and the hing bent. Door could not even be close. Brian came out at 8.30pm, tried every other way, sourced different parts from other colleagues nearby to finally fix the door at 10.30pm. He didn't give up and we were very pleased with the service. Great communication throughout and a quick response time. Helped us end a horrible and stressful day with a smile for a job well done. After my Mum had a fall , I couldn’t get into her house. It was a Saturday and he was out with his daughter, but came quickly and got me in. Needed a new car key and the service was excellent. Took around an hour but in that time two keys were cut and coded and also tested on my behalf. I told them where the car was parked and they were able to find it and check all was ok. Highly recommended

Just got to give a shout out for Homeguard as they were brilliant. Had a problem with my remote car fob and originally thought it a battery problem, every time a new one was put in it drained almost immediately. Such nice guys there genuine, honest and friendly and know their stuff. It was clear electric circuit board in key fob casing was damaged. I must have returned to the shop 3 or 4 times because battery had run down...again. Darren was the guy who sorted me, a really nice guy. Though both me and him wanted to avoid the expensive route of new fob, key and re-programming because of expense, that's what had to be done in the end as there was no choice and I wanted it sorted. Once I told Darren I wanted it doing he got it sorted, Great guy as I said and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them for any lock, key, security controlled issue...Many thanks.
