The tutor was so engaging, my son could not wait to begin every session, keen to learn more. The results speak for themselves in his outstanding performance at school. I enjoyed my meeting with Yusuf and can see potential in our work together on my PS. My only issue is that I think he is too focused on the philosophical side of PPE as he suggested I read another philosophy book for my PS when I already mentioned one. Especially since for one university I’m applying to economics and politics (bath) as it doesn’t have PPE. So therefore, I would prefer if my PS is more well-rounded of all three subjects.

I tried Ivy Education with my daughter who was an IB student. This firm was truly beneficial for her and they helped us a lot to achieve her goals. Overall Ivy is a flexible firm that accommodates every student program of choice. Additionally their professionalism is highlighted as services we didn't use were refunded back to us.

My son got the offer from his 1st choice super selective grammar school, I’d like to give a huge thanks to his tutor, Dan. My son was below average in writing skills, speed and vocabulary before we approached Ivy for help in the January of Yr 5. After just a few months of tutoring with Dan, I could see his rapid improvement in writing. Dan taught creative writing in a disciplined and systematic way. He knew exactly how the examiners mark the answers, and how my son could get the highest scores in the English paper. Dan also helped my son’s other areas such as written comprehensions and VR. Oh I forgot to mention he had the sample papers of our target schools! When it came to my son’s real entrance exams in September, my son was fully prepared- not only he passed the exam of our 1st choice grammar school, he also passed all other exams we applied, and got full marks in some of them!

I completed the Essay Crash Course during the summer before my final year at university. I hugely benefited from the process as I learned skills to finally understand what a university essay demands in order to achieve a first. This course closed the huge gap in teaching how to write a university level essay. I now feel equipped to complete my final year and hope to increase my marks from a 2:1 to a first as a result of the valuable tools learned during the course. My matched tutor was really helpful and gave in-depth explanations to give me confidence in the new method of writing, something I did not learn at university. During the course I worked on an example question from one of my university papers with my tutor which was a hugely valuable exercise. I now have a worked example alongside the explanations given during the sessions which I will use throughout my final year. I will now implement what I have learned from this course and make significant changes to my work which I hope will be the difference between a 2:1 and first class degree.

The tutor matched to me was very helpful. Her essay writing course contributed to my first year history average going from a mid 2.1 to a high 1 in second year. The matched tutors for Sociology and Geography A level were outstanding. I have consistently used Uber Tutors for my child since year 5, elevating their potential at different stages of their State and Comprehensive schooling. Uber Tutors coached my child through their dyslexia diagnosis, immediately understanding their needs and instilling confidence. They have now finished A levels top of their class and top three in their year for their chosen subjects, including A*s in Sociology and Geography. In total 3 x A* and 1 x A. I looked for an essay writing summer tutor for my children as I feel the English system does not focus on teaching children how to present analytical thinking in written form but rather mainly on content. It seems to be assumed that the children will find their way to writing good essays (and clearly many do). However, coming from the American system, in which the process of HOW to write a good essay is taught almost as a standalone subject, I felt that my children would be best served going into a writing task with the strongest possible toolset so that the ideas and ultimately what to write would become their only challenge. How to write would be second nature. I contacted Tania at Uber Tutors after a lot of research and, via her incredibly personalised interview approach, she matched a fantastic tutor with my children. Over the course of the summer, they learned how to structure, present and write an argument. They also learned how to incorporate evidence, be it literary, historical or data driven. Not only do they now approach every school essay confidently (dare I say enthusiastically?) but their teachers have mentioned their writing skills to me across the curriculum. Hands down the best decision we made for our children was to have Hannah and The Golden Circle part of our extended family. The tutors are attentive and very adept in their fields of study. Think Tutors has been an absolutely invaluable asset to to my A-levels over the past two years. I have been tutored by James Mitchell in Geography, which has been nothing short of a pleasure week in week out due to his wide range of subject knowledge and very engaging and interesting teaching method. With the help of James I was able to achieve an A grade as my final grade, as well as an A* grade in my coursework (something which was not actually taken into official consideration in the final grade due to the COVID 19 outbreak thus changing the way grades were awarded). I would recommend to anyone looking at using Think Tutors to do so as in my own experience for the definite improvements it will bring to your grades the cost incurred is very good value. It is a short-term investment to help you achieve a thoroughly better end grade which is attached to you for life.

My daughter came to Trusted Tutors just over a year+half ago. Her education was in a mess. A mixture of experiences at different schools, some home-schooling, and a debacle of moving to a new school area during covid, had left her far behind in key academic areas. Over the last 18 months, Natalie basically salvaged her education wholesale.
