I'm happy to share my experience with my economics tutor, Tushar, who helped me achieve an A in my A-level economics. His online revision course and one-to-one and group tutoring provided me with helpful revision notes as well as video explanations which were clear and easy to understand. They have a very good system that starts by assessing the the level of the child and then recommended the lessons required. However it doesn't end there. They also consider the child's personality and meticulously find the best tutor who would mach with the child. I have consistently used Uber Tutors for my child since year 5, elevating their potential at different stages of their State and Comprehensive schooling. I completed the Essay Crash Course during the summer before my final year at university. I hugely benefited from the process as I learned skills to finally understand what a university essay demands in order to achieve a first. This course closed the huge gap in teaching how to write a university level essay. I now feel equipped to complete my final year and hope to increase my marks from a 2:1 to a first as a result of the valuable tools learned during the course. My matched tutor was really helpful and gave in-depth explanations to give me confidence in the new method of writing, something I did not learn at university. During the course I worked on an example question from one of my university papers with my tutor which was a hugely valuable exercise. I now have a worked example alongside the explanations given during the sessions which I will use throughout my final year. I will now implement what I have learned from this course and make significant changes to my work which I hope will be the difference between a 2:1 and first class degree.

Kumon - where every child can attain their full potential. Kumon is form of home learning that works extremely well for my daughter. She was struggling with maths but within a matter of weeks she turned it around. She can now approach complex addition and subtraction equations in a logical fashion. This has boosted her confidence no end and is reflected in her school work. Her teachers have been amazed at the rate of her progress! My daughter also does the English program which has greatly assisted her with her grammar and ability to spell elaborate words. This improvement is reflected in her comprehension and reading skills. I marvel at the way in which Kumon is taught because Yoko and her staff take the time to assess the child in order to ascertain the appropriate level for their ability. The program is tailor-made for the child and they learn at their own pace. The staff are patient, understanding, encouraging and apply no pressure to make the child learn. In fact, my daughter is more than happy to complete the work sheet each day, which takes no longer than 10 minutes. Very little parental input is necessary. From my observations, when the centre was open, the children are very happy, keen to learn and thrive as a result. The prizes and certificates that they gain due to making great strides in their learning doesn't hurt either. (: The lockdown has changed very little as the weekly lesson is done via zoom. I would highly recommend Kumon to any parent who has a desire for their child to achieve greatness. :)

I can highly recommend the Kumon ethos and Kumon East Finchley in particular.
