Rishi prepared me for my St. Paul’s 16+ interview. He had a positive manner throughout the interview and made me feel comfortable. I looked for an essay writing summer tutor for my children as I feel the English system does not focus on teaching children how to present analytical thinking in written form but rather mainly on content. It seems to be assumed that the children will find their way to writing good essays (and clearly many do). However, coming from the American system, in which the process of HOW to write a good essay is taught almost as a standalone subject, I felt that my children would be best served going into a writing task with the strongest possible toolset so that the ideas and ultimately what to write would become their only challenge. How to write would be second nature. I contacted Tania at Uber Tutors after a lot of research and, via her incredibly personalised interview approach, she matched a fantastic tutor with my children. Over the course of the summer, they learned how to structure, present and write an argument. They also learned how to incorporate evidence, be it literary, historical or data driven. Not only do they now approach every school essay confidently (dare I say enthusiastically?) but their teachers have mentioned their writing skills to me across the curriculum. I cannot thank Tania and Uber Tutors enough.

Uber tutors helped my son to improve from year 8 level(when he was at year 10) to year 11 within one year. They have a very good system that starts by assessing the the level of the child and then recommended the lessons required. However it doesn't end there. They also consider the child's personality and meticulously find the best tutor who would mach with the child. Prior to Uber tutors we tried a few other companies but none had a proper system in place. The tutors are very knowledgeable and helpful. There's clear and effective communication between the teacher and parents and a detailed feedback provided at the end of each and every lesson. As a result, our son passed his GCSES with very good results. Thank you Uber tutors.

The matched tutors for Sociology and Geography A level were outstanding. I have consistently used Uber Tutors for my child since year 5, elevating their potential at different stages of their State and Comprehensive schooling. Uber Tutors coached my child through their dyslexia diagnosis, immediately understanding their needs and instilling confidence. i was a student here from February and the teachers are amazing. they show you so much support and offer extra booster during GCSE season. at the start of year 11, for maths i was predicted a 4 and for science i was predicted a 5-4. to clarify those grade are ok. Amazingly, on results day i was able to achieve a 8 (A*) in maths, special thanks to my teacher kamal. For science i achieved an 8-7 (A*-A), my science teacher is amazing and always broke things down for me when i didn’t understand. i am extremely grateful for the amazing grades i was able to achieve and will always have love for my amazing tutors. i was able to get in an amazing six-form thanks to them. i will forever recommend this company.

I've found that attending Fine Tutors has been really beneficial to my academic achievements. I was able to achieve results I am proud of in my GCSEs, earning grades of 9 in maths and science. I am now also pursuing a career in dentistry, which required me to do Biology and Chemistry at A-level. The support is focused and tailor made to your child’s needs as opposed to group based whilst targeting specific professionally diagnosed concerns. The centre has modern interactive equipment, conducive the needs of the individual children. My son has been having tuition at the focus education centre for the last year. Cassie assessed his level and encouraged him to try more complex work which he enjoys. The work is varied and keeps him interested and focused, he looks forward the the lessons and the on-line classes have really helped provide some normality during COVID. I would strongly recommend The Focus Education Centre to support your child’s academic development and confidence.

The Centre provides individual tuition in English, Maths and Science for students from Year 2 to Year 11. Assessments are free of charge and they are Ofsted registered which may mean up to 85% discount on fees for certain families. There are also pay in advance and sibling discounts. Located in a small street opposite Clissold Park, it can be a little tricky to find as it's not a traditional shop front or office but the name is on the window.

I really enjoy my weekly lessons with Steph and she has helped me so much in the short time I have been learning with her. The lessons are always so interesting as we end up talking about all sorts of things from fashion, to music to politics! A great way to expand my french vocab :) the lesson always goes so fast as well, another example of how enjoyable they are. She has been great at getting me to practice my speaking and listening skills whilst teaching me a lot of complex grammar. Thank you!

I’ve been having lessons with Steph for the past 8 months and my French partner and her family have all said my French has improved enormously. I put that all down to Steph’s tuition.
