Bright, professional, kind and attentive, Kiru made sure that our son arrived confident and well prepared to the entry tests of a selective and prestigious independent school in Cambridge (Y9). My husband and I chose Golden Circle Tutors to home tutor our son through his IGCSEs after we experienced difficulties with his London day school. Our son really struggled in reception and by year 1 we decided he needed extra help at home, especially when it came to reading and writing. Anna had 3 different tutors without much progress and she has been diagnosed with ADHD. Chris was recommended to us by a mum from our class, whose son he has been working with for over a year. After the first month of subscription - working with our daughter in school we saw a big difference. Her brain has been unlocked to learn. I’m so grateful and full of hope that Anna will catch up with her contemporaries soon. Chris is reliable, flexible and knows how to make our daughter work. He uses a lot of different strategies and is learning and developing all the time to find out new ways to help children with SEND access and engage with the learning. After being advised by a local primary school teacher in the North West of the UK, I contacted Owl Tutors for their services for my daughter as she had secondary school examinations. Mathnasium is fantastic. It really helped my child prepare for the 11+. Her progress was impressive, but equally impressive was how enjoyable it must be because she kept going back! My only minor complaint is the cost - it would be helpful to have a more a la carte model for added flexibility - particularly for when students are not in an exam window.

Amanda and her colleagues have provided such an invaluable help to our children’s grasp of maths (and progress through different levels), encouraging both to develop their understanding of each new aspect with really unexpectedly quick results. The Kumon approach of ‘a little a lot’ is so well applied in maths, and Amanda (especially) and her team are so generous with their time that this is surely a perfect compliment to any school child’s standard week.

My experience with Kumon, Amanda and her team has been a game changer for my sons learning. Since day one Amanda has been warm, kind and encouraging. Over the years, Kumon has definitely been challenging for my son and myself but we continued to persevere because I could see he was improving every week. The certificates, achievement cards, treats and the team helped my son learn to enjoy maths which is now one of his favourite subjects. Even throughout the pandemic Amanda helped my son stay consistent with his maths and was always just a call away if he found anything difficult. There are a number of other providers who offer Maths and English for kids learning however i found the quality and good communication from Amanda was second to none

He has vastly improved in his confidence with his Maths as well as in his mental Maths abilities. Without Kumon, my son would not be as able as he is now in Maths.
