Hands down the best decision we made for our children was to have Hannah and The Golden Circle part of our extended family. The tutors are attentive and very adept in their fields of study. We were able help all three of our children at different stages of their educational careers: from CE to A-Levels, summer and pre-uni advice and activities. Natalie has been a brilliant maths tutor to our daughter over this academic year. Natalie has a very calm, warm manner and takes time to plan engaging and well-paced lessons. Natalie took time to set manageable homework tasks and gave helpful feedback on my daughter’s progress and areas to focus on. My daughter never complained about logging in to online lessons with Natalie and definitely benefitted from Natalie’s patience and interactive ideas. I have been send all my 3 kids to this Kumon centre and I could see how much they have been benefited from it. It’s absolutely a good way to create a routine of learning from the early years(my kids all started at 4 years old). Although they didn’t do very long(ended at Yr 4 or 5 due to other sports n music commitments) but laid a good foundation for their academic work. Strongly recommend it! 👍

Uber tutors helped my son to improve from year 8 level(when he was at year 10) to year 11 within one year. They have a very good system that starts by assessing the the level of the child and then recommended the lessons required. However it doesn't end there. They also consider the child's personality and meticulously find the best tutor who would mach with the child. Prior to Uber tutors we tried a few other companies but none had a proper system in place. The tutors are very knowledgeable and helpful. There's clear and effective communication between the teacher and parents and a detailed feedback provided at the end of each and every lesson. As a result, our son passed his GCSES with very good results. Thank you Uber tutors.

I looked for an essay writing summer tutor for my children as I feel the English system does not focus on teaching children how to present analytical thinking in written form but rather mainly on content. It seems to be assumed that the children will find their way to writing good essays (and clearly many do). However, coming from the American system, in which the process of HOW to write a good essay is taught almost as a standalone subject, I felt that my children would be best served going into a writing task with the strongest possible toolset so that the ideas and ultimately what to write would become their only challenge. How to write would be second nature. I contacted Tania at Uber Tutors after a lot of research and, via her incredibly personalised interview approach, she matched a fantastic tutor with my children. Over the course of the summer, they learned how to structure, present and write an argument. They also learned how to incorporate evidence, be it literary, historical or data driven. Not only do they now approach every school essay confidently (dare I say enthusiastically?) but their teachers have mentioned their writing skills to me across the curriculum. I cannot thank Tania and Uber Tutors enough.

The tutor matched to me was very helpful. Her essay writing course contributed to my first year history average going from a mid 2.1 to a high 1 in second year. My experience with Kumon, Amanda and her team has been a game changer for my sons learning. Since day one Amanda has been warm, kind and encouraging. Over the years, Kumon has definitely been challenging for my son and myself but we continued to persevere because I could see he was improving every week. The certificates, achievement cards, treats and the team helped my son learn to enjoy maths which is now one of his favourite subjects. Even throughout the pandemic Amanda helped my son stay consistent with his maths and was always just a call away if he found anything difficult.
