Giuliano helped me to achieve a grade A in maths A-Levels and I honestly could not have done it without his incredible support. He is super friendly and approachable. I always felt very comfortable to ask him to go over a question or topic that I didn't understand. He always explained key concepts very well, that had not been taught in school yet. This allowed me to get ahead and spend more time practicing exam questions rather than learning theory. As well as that he pushed me to become familiar with challenging questions so that questions in the actual exam did not seem daunting. Giuliano was always readily available. There was multiple times where I reached out to him via messaging to help me with a question I was stuck on even with the mark scheme. He also gave me lots of insight and tips and helped keep me calm and confident during the exams. I cannot recommend him enough, Thank you for everything Giuliano! 😄

Silvana was an exceptional tutor for my son for his secondary school entrance exams. She was enthusiastic and passionate and really developed a love of English in him. She taught him to write exciting pieces in a range of styles and enhanced his creativity. He also learnt how to approach comprehension exercises across domains. Our primary focus was keeping the love of learning regardless of 11+ outcomes but the outcome also ended up outstanding - in all three schools he sat. Certain rankings from Latymer and Dame Alice Owens (top 3% in each) and a score that has always got an offer in previous years at QE boys (they don't give rankings). I have had A level chemistry tutoring with Deniz now for about 6 months. She always explain topics in the most detailed and understandable way whilst also making the lessons enjoyable. Most of all, I find the lessons to be tailored well to my needs whilst also drawing attention to parts of topics that are most often misunderstood or missed out. I'd very highly recommend.

Deniz is such a great chemistry tutor especially for a level. I have had lessons with her for several months now and I’ve enjoyed each and every lesson. She explains simply and effectively and she helps grasp difficult concepts really well. She is super kind and I’ve improved substantially in the subject since the beginning of the year. Her love for chemistry is really evident and she’s inspired me to even think of pursuing chemistry as a career something I wasn’t even remotely thinking about at the start of the year.

Deniz is a wonderful chemistry teacher. She is very patient, taking time to explain things in different ways should they be difficult to understand. She has tailored her teaching based on the curriculum I am studying, providing level appropriate homework even mock tests to help me practice. I only wish I had started studying with her sooner. However, given the short time I have to prepare for exams I appreciate her going the extra mile to fit in as many lessons as possible before my exams.

Liz was recommended by many parents at St Catherines School. They all said how good she was and how their children had gained confidence and improved their ability. When I contacted Liz she was quick and efficient setting up a session. My daughter attended and really connected with Liz. Liz and her team are amazing. Not only do they get the results, they actually care about the progress of each child. Whether it is for an 11+ entrance exam, to GCSEs and beyond, they really are excellent at what they do. Liz and all her staff are a fountain of knowledge, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Our daughter has been receiving tuition with Explore Learning New Barnet for over 4 years. She is very happy and it’s clear that she has gained a great deal of confidence with her learning and is achieving high grades at school. The centre and staff are very welcoming, and there is always a friendly, positive atmosphere. She particularly enjoys her online one to one sessions as she can focus without the usual classroom distractions of school and she is very comfortable with her lovely tutor. Due to this focus, she has often been working ahead of the school curriculum which means that by the time her school class is learning a particular module, she already has a good understanding of it. Likewise, if her class covers a module that she is a bit unsure of, she covers it again during her Explore Learning session and can ask questions in a more relaxed, intimate space where she does not feel peer pressure. We would highly recommend this to all parents as we have honestly seen the benefits to our daughter’s confidence. Her school also comment on how well she is doing in all her subjects but particularly in maths and English. Our daughter is very happy to continue with these sessions up to her GCSE’s as she understands how much it has helped her and she enjoys them!

Really useful and helpful intensive A' level Economics course. I was able to recieve extremely helpful notes and tips, as well as experience in both exam techniques and revision techniques. We were able to cover a wide variety of subjects with great depth, and cover as much of the syllabus as possible. Tushar is really experienced, and able to identify areas which need help. Would highly recommend this course.

My daughter was very daunted with spelling and especially reading. Since she started receiving 1 to 1 lessons with Chrisanthe shes now developed a total love for books and reading, in fact the only thing she seems to love more is writing her own stories. An amazing change in a relatively short time I cannot recommend Chrisanthe enough for not just her teaching but the relationship and trust she has built with my daughter.

We are so glad we saught out Chrisanthe for Maths tuition for our child. She was struggling in school and not receiving the support we thought she needed. In the last year that they have worked together, my child's progress has been outstanding! She is no longer falling behind, struggling with basic concepts. Her maths not only has improved, but also her confidence around maths and being able to problem solve. Chrisanthe was able to tailor her approach and style to best suit our child, helping make dreaded math work become fun, it is now a weekly session she now looks forward to. Lessons are now held online and it works very well with zoom and screen sharing from home. My husband and I admire the relationship between Chrisanthe and my child, they get on so well and my child actually listens to her!
