I have been a tutor at Tavistock for almost a year now and they are by FAR the best agency I have worked with! Their tutors are excellent, and their treatment of tutors is even better. They provide regular clients whose needs are perfectly aligned to the tutor's skills, making the process as simple as signing up! They always maintain contact to make sure the tutoring is going well, and in doing so are one of the few agencies to take care of the tutor as well as the client!

We have worked in collaboration with Manning's Tutors as part of the Schools Covid Recovery Strategy for the past 4 years. We originally began using government funding through the National Tutoring Programme to support students who had been most affected by the Pandemic. This was meant to be a short term solution. However, the results of 1:1 and small group tutoring have been very strong and we have continued to support students from a range of backgrounds and demographics to close the attainment gap in Maths, English and Science. Manning's Tutors provide a first class service and this has helped us deliver excellent returns for our students. Their personal service, reliability, efforts to problem solve, safeguarding practices AND the lesson space platform all contribute to a seamless service which is value for money. Despite government funding likely to end this year, we as a school have already committed 10% of our PP budget to Manning's because we value the service they provide and the support they offer alongside normal classroom learning. My daughter has been attending a full year at tutor base and she's finding it emensly helpful with her school work and homework the subject she was struggling with they have managed to help her by using different approaches and she's really enjoying maths now. By attending I do see my child is more independent in her learning as well as confident with her work. My son joined Pillai Tutors from year 4 and we completed the journey with Grammar School results coming out. Thanks to Pillai Tutors (Manju and Mrs. B in particular) who put in so much hard work and effort. They make classes inclusive, make learning enjoyable and are available whenever needed. I was able to talk to Manju almost after every class and get the required feedback to support my son at home. Teachers at year 4 (Ms. Munmun) were excellent too. Thanks to all the teachers involved and all the hard work you put in to support kids through this challenging journey of 11+. My son managed to clear both stages for Sutton, Kent and Tiffins stage 1 (stage 2 exam is due). Once again, thank you, keep up the great work!

Our son went to Pillai tutors for 11plus prep last year. He joined in year 5 and we’ve been very happy with the structure, service and overall learning experience. We liked the group based learning approach followed by 121 feedback given by Manju for her lessons. Both Mrs.B and Manju are fantastic set of teachers who exactly know what is required to crack 11plus exams. Their honest feedback and approach keeps you realistic and got us as parents to work with our child accordingly. We particularly like the service of creative writing they offer with detailed feedback and evaluation on a weekly basis. I would highly recommend their services for 11 plus prep.

Everything here was completely new for him, but the tutors at Pillai made the transition seamless. They helped him prepare for the 11+ Sutton SET exam, and we were incredibly impressed by how quickly he was able to grasp new concepts. The tutors are truly amazing—patient, skilled, and dedicated. Luke is an Excellent tutor, he will not waste your time. Luke will ask you what your struggling to understand and will go over it in a common sense approach that you will UNDERSTAND! He is very patient and more importantly knows his subject matter throughly. He will ensure you understand before moving on to the next topic. I’ve had 3 hours tutoring so far and understood the concepts that I was struggling with. I wish I found him a lot sooner - it would have saved me hours of reading from books.
