Rishi has been supporting me in A level Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science. We went through over the specific topics that I needed to work on and doing lots of practise questions. We went through hypothesis testing, pure and mechanics. Computer science coursework to ensure I am following the success criteria. I would definitely recommend Rishi as he is very flexible and has a good sense of humour.

My daughter attends this centre and she absolutely loves it. The brothers who teach her are amazing at what they do allahumma barik and she is always looking forward to going to class. It is also amazing that they have considered the homeschooling community and facilitated this for us during school times. If you are homeschooling and looking for somewhere to complement the work you do with your child or you want to test that your child is at the right level then this is a great place to come on Thursday at 1pm to 3pm as it is specifically for homeschooling families. They offer English, Maths and science.

After checking with different tuition providers, we selected Merit Tutors for our child, and we are happy about our decision! Our son went to Pillai tutors for 11plus prep last year. He joined in year 5 and we’ve been very happy with the structure, service and overall learning experience. We liked the group based learning approach followed by 121 feedback given by Manju for her lessons. Both Mrs.B and Manju are fantastic set of teachers who exactly know what is required to crack 11plus exams. Their honest feedback and approach keeps you realistic and got us as parents to work with our child accordingly. We particularly like the service of creative writing they offer with detailed feedback and evaluation on a weekly basis. I would highly recommend their services for 11 plus prep.

My son joined Pillai Tutors from year 4 and we completed the journey with Grammar School results coming out. Thanks to Pillai Tutors (Manju and Mrs. B in particular) who put in so much hard work and effort. They make classes inclusive, make learning enjoyable and are available whenever needed. I was able to talk to Manju almost after every class and get the required feedback to support my son at home. Teachers at year 4 (Ms. Munmun) were excellent too. Thanks to all the teachers involved and all the hard work you put in to support kids through this challenging journey of 11+. My son managed to clear both stages for Sutton, Kent and Tiffins stage 1 (stage 2 exam is due). Once again, thank you, keep up the great work!

Outstanding Tutor Experience at Pillai Tutors My son joined Pillai Tutors when we moved to the UK from India, during his Year 4. Everything here was completely new for him, but the tutors at Pillai made the transition seamless. They helped him prepare for the 11+ Sutton SET exam, and we were incredibly impressed by how quickly he was able to grasp new concepts. The tutors are truly amazing—patient, skilled, and dedicated. We've benefitted from the structured learning that Manju provides for the 11+ journey, and our son has secured a place at the school of our choice. Reflecting back, the weekly classes and homework felt like a lot of work to begin with, but we soon had our routine set up. We followed Manju's advice and dedicated 30 min every day to homework, so we had weekends to ourselves for family time. Mrs B and Manju, are both excellent teachers, and I like their approach to ensuring that children understand the concepts rather than focussing on finishing tasks. I have been a tutor at Tavistock for almost a year now and they are by FAR the best agency I have worked with! Their tutors are excellent, and their treatment of tutors is even better. They provide regular clients whose needs are perfectly aligned to the tutor's skills, making the process as simple as signing up! They always maintain contact to make sure the tutoring is going well, and in doing so are one of the few agencies to take care of the tutor as well as the client!

Luke is an Excellent tutor, he will not waste your time. Luke will ask you what your struggling to understand and will go over it in a common sense approach that you will UNDERSTAND! He is very patient and more importantly knows his subject matter throughly. He will ensure you understand before moving on to the next topic. I’ve had 3 hours tutoring so far and understood the concepts that I was struggling with. I wish I found him a lot sooner - it would have saved me hours of reading from books. Giuliano helped me to achieve a grade A in maths A-Levels and I honestly could not have done it without his incredible support. He is super friendly and approachable. I always felt very comfortable to ask him to go over a question or topic that I didn't understand. He always explained key concepts very well, that had not been taught in school yet. This allowed me to get ahead and spend more time practicing exam questions rather than learning theory. As well as that he pushed me to become familiar with challenging questions so that questions in the actual exam did not seem daunting. Giuliano was always readily available. There was multiple times where I reached out to him via messaging to help me with a question I was stuck on even with the mark scheme.
