I cannot recommend Bespoke more, my 13yr old (8th Grade) Lucy is outstanding in so many ways, she is a very inspiring teacher and full of positive encouragement and wonderful delivery. She is very thoughtful with lesson English plans for Olivia based on her level and curriculum at school. We are based in the US and discovered Bespoke through a friend located in the UK. The time difference works fine and we plan our lesson a month in advance based on ours and Lucy's schedule. I have now used this agency on two occasions to find tutors for my son. The first time Emma found an absolutely ideal general tutor for him while he was off school due to asthma after the pandemic. We were presented with a range of excellent CVs and were able to pick the most promising one for a trial, which worked out brilliantly. More recently this year, when looking for a computer science tutor for my 15-year-old, Emma found us a great range of candidates to choose from. We picked Amardeep who has proved to be outstanding with a wonderful laid back rapport. My son is not a school enthusiast but actively enjoys learning in his tutor sessions. Bespoke is not the cheapest agency but they really are outstanding and the ability to chat through specific needs, look at CV details and go for a trial lesson first is so helpful. It's not a production line but offers a really personal service. If you are concerned your child needs something a bit different or specific, I can't recommend Bespoke enough.

Couldn’t rate expert tuition higher. I have just finished my economics A level and in all honesty without using Expert tuition resources and livestreams I would have done nowhere near as well as I feel I have done. For any year 12 or year 13 student studying economics I would really recommend either going to one of the courses or at least watching the livestreams before you do you exams! Otherwise you are at a major disadvantage.

My son got the offer from his 1st choice super selective grammar school, I’d like to give a huge thanks to his tutor, Dan. My son was below average in writing skills, speed and vocabulary before we approached Ivy for help in the January of Yr 5. After just a few months of tutoring with Dan, I could see his rapid improvement in writing. Dan taught creative writing in a disciplined and systematic way. He knew exactly how the examiners mark the answers, and how my son could get the highest scores in the English paper. Dan also helped my son’s other areas such as written comprehensions and VR. Oh I forgot to mention he had the sample papers of our target schools! When it came to my son’s real entrance exams in September, my son was fully prepared- not only he passed the exam of our 1st choice grammar school, he also passed all other exams we applied, and got full marks in some of them!

I enjoyed my meeting with Yusuf and can see potential in our work together on my PS. My only issue is that I think he is too focused on the philosophical side of PPE as he suggested I read another philosophy book for my PS when I already mentioned one. Especially since for one university I’m applying to economics and politics (bath) as it doesn’t have PPE. So therefore, I would prefer if my PS is more well-rounded of all three subjects.

Uber tutors helped my son to improve from year 8 level(when he was at year 10) to year 11 within one year. They have a very good system that starts by assessing the the level of the child and then recommended the lessons required. However it doesn't end there. They also consider the child's personality and meticulously find the best tutor who would mach with the child. Prior to Uber tutors we tried a few other companies but none had a proper system in place. The tutors are very knowledgeable and helpful. There's clear and effective communication between the teacher and parents and a detailed feedback provided at the end of each and every lesson. I looked for an essay writing summer tutor for my children as I feel the English system does not focus on teaching children how to present analytical thinking in written form but rather mainly on content. It seems to be assumed that the children will find their way to writing good essays (and clearly many do). However, coming from the American system, in which the process of HOW to write a good essay is taught almost as a standalone subject, I felt that my children would be best served going into a writing task with the strongest possible toolset so that the ideas and ultimately what to write would become their only challenge. How to write would be second nature. I contacted Tania at Uber Tutors after a lot of research and, via her incredibly personalised interview approach, she matched a fantastic tutor with my children. Over the course of the summer, they learned how to structure, present and write an argument. They also learned how to incorporate evidence, be it literary, historical or data driven. Not only do they now approach every school essay confidently (dare I say enthusiastically?) but their teachers have mentioned their writing skills to me across the curriculum. I completed the Essay Crash Course during the summer before my final year at university. I hugely benefited from the process as I learned skills to finally understand what a university essay demands in order to achieve a first. This course closed the huge gap in teaching how to write a university level essay. I now feel equipped to complete my final year and hope to increase my marks from a 2:1 to a first as a result of the valuable tools learned during the course. My matched tutor was really helpful and gave in-depth explanations to give me confidence in the new method of writing, something I did not learn at university. During the course I worked on an example question from one of my university papers with my tutor which was a hugely valuable exercise. I now have a worked example alongside the explanations given during the sessions which I will use throughout my final year. I will now implement what I have learned from this course and make significant changes to my work which I hope will be the difference between a 2:1 and first class degree.
