Positive: Communication, Professionalism, Quality We've used Bespoke Tuition recently - during the spring break , we needed help supplementing our child’s learning as we felt there were gaps in his learning and we asked Emma to match our son with a tutor to help him work on his maths skills . Emma is was very responsive and able to provide cv's and recommendations in response to specific needs. Our son is currently working with Sarah to close these gaps . We've definitely noticed an improvement in his maths which he finds challenging. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bespoke Tuition and use their services again.

Emma provides the best service- careful selecting tutors that match individual needs and really taking the time to explain how the system works. She was able to find my daughter a maths tutor incredibly quickly. Elena was patient, knowledgeable and very thorough in her lessons and my daughter gained invaluable help- the sessions really improved her confidence and she found the lessons engaging and fun. I cannot recommend Bespoke more, my 13yr old (8th Grade) Lucy is outstanding in so many ways, she is a very inspiring teacher and full of positive encouragement and wonderful delivery. She is very thoughtful with lesson English plans for Olivia based on her level and curriculum at school. We are based in the US and discovered Bespoke through a friend located in the UK. The time difference works fine and we plan our lesson a month in advance based on ours and Lucy's schedule. Emma, the founder of Bespoke, was tremendous at placing us with the right tutor based on Olivia having a challenging year in her English class and us wanting her to enjoy and feel confident again!

I have now used this agency on two occasions to find tutors for my son. The first time Emma found an absolutely ideal general tutor for him while he was off school due to asthma after the pandemic. We were presented with a range of excellent CVs and were able to pick the most promising one for a trial, which worked out brilliantly. More recently this year, when looking for a computer science tutor for my 15-year-old, Emma found us a great range of candidates to choose from. We picked Amardeep who has proved to be outstanding with a wonderful laid back rapport. My son is not a school enthusiast but actively enjoys learning in his tutor sessions. Bespoke is not the cheapest agency but they really are outstanding and the ability to chat through specific needs, look at CV details and go for a trial lesson first is so helpful. It's not a production line but offers a really personal service. If you are concerned your child needs something a bit different or specific, I can't recommend Bespoke enough.

Luke is an Excellent tutor, he will not waste your time. Luke will ask you what your struggling to understand and will go over it in a common sense approach that you will UNDERSTAND! He is very patient and more importantly knows his subject matter throughly. He will ensure you understand before moving on to the next topic. I’ve had 3 hours tutoring so far and understood the concepts that I was struggling with. I wish I found him a lot sooner - it would have saved me hours of reading from books. Very easy to deal with. My daughter was perfectly matched with a tutor for her one to one Oxbridge interview preparation. She also did an Interview preparation day which she found extremely helpful. I completed the Essay Crash Course during the summer before my final year at university. I hugely benefited from the process as I learned skills to finally understand what a university essay demands in order to achieve a first. This course closed the huge gap in teaching how to write a university level essay. I now feel equipped to complete my final year and hope to increase my marks from a 2:1 to a first as a result of the valuable tools learned during the course. My matched tutor was really helpful and gave in-depth explanations to give me confidence in the new method of writing, something I did not learn at university. During the course I worked on an example question from one of my university papers with my tutor which was a hugely valuable exercise. I now have a worked example alongside the explanations given during the sessions which I will use throughout my final year. I will now implement what I have learned from this course and make significant changes to my work which I hope will be the difference between a 2:1 and first class degree.

I looked for an essay writing summer tutor for my children as I feel the English system does not focus on teaching children how to present analytical thinking in written form but rather mainly on content. It seems to be assumed that the children will find their way to writing good essays (and clearly many do). However, coming from the American system, in which the process of HOW to write a good essay is taught almost as a standalone subject, I felt that my children would be best served going into a writing task with the strongest possible toolset so that the ideas and ultimately what to write would become their only challenge. How to write would be second nature. I contacted Tania at Uber Tutors after a lot of research and, via her incredibly personalised interview approach, she matched a fantastic tutor with my children. Over the course of the summer, they learned how to structure, present and write an argument. They also learned how to incorporate evidence, be it literary, historical or data driven. Not only do they now approach every school essay confidently (dare I say enthusiastically?) but their teachers have mentioned their writing skills to me across the curriculum. The matched tutors for Sociology and Geography A level were outstanding. I have consistently used Uber Tutors for my child since year 5, elevating their potential at different stages of their State and Comprehensive schooling. Uber Tutors coached my child through their dyslexia diagnosis, immediately understanding their needs and instilling confidence. I enjoyed my meeting with Yusuf and can see potential in our work together on my PS. My only issue is that I think he is too focused on the philosophical side of PPE as he suggested I read another philosophy book for my PS when I already mentioned one. Especially since for one university I’m applying to economics and politics (bath) as it doesn’t have PPE. So therefore, I would prefer if my PS is more well-rounded of all three subjects.

My son got the offer from his 1st choice super selective grammar school, I’d like to give a huge thanks to his tutor, Dan. My son was below average in writing skills, speed and vocabulary before we approached Ivy for help in the January of Yr 5. After just a few months of tutoring with Dan, I could see his rapid improvement in writing. Dan taught creative writing in a disciplined and systematic way. He knew exactly how the examiners mark the answers, and how my son could get the highest scores in the English paper. Dan also helped my son’s other areas such as written comprehensions and VR. Oh I forgot to mention he had the sample papers of our target schools! When it came to my son’s real entrance exams in September, my son was fully prepared- not only he passed the exam of our 1st choice grammar school, he also passed all other exams we applied, and got full marks in some of them!

Juliet, Richard and Anna have an incredible gift for teaching. I recommend Juliet and Richard highly for their tutoring service. They worked with my son on 11+ exams through online lessons. Their lessons were effective, methodical and thorough.
