My daughter attends this centre and she absolutely loves it. The brothers who teach her are amazing at what they do allahumma barik and she is always looking forward to going to class. It is also amazing that they have considered the homeschooling community and facilitated this for us during school times. If you are homeschooling and looking for somewhere to complement the work you do with your child or you want to test that your child is at the right level then this is a great place to come on Thursday at 1pm to 3pm as it is specifically for homeschooling families. They offer English, Maths and science.

My son has been attending Top Tuitors since June 2024, and the difference in his academic performance and confidence is truly remarkable. I’ve been coming to this tuition place for over a year and it’s one of the best - all the teachers really support you with topics you struggle with and encourage you to achieve higher - I was mainly getting grade 6-7s in science and maths but this results day ended up with 8-9s and a huge part of that is because of toptutors- can’t recommend them enough :)

I believe my son benefited from tutoring at Top Tutors in Roman road, in a very short period of time they managed to identify and fill the gaps in his knowledge which helped my son with passing the 11+ exam. I believe the tutors here are attentive and insightful, they prepare tasks based on each student’s individual level, they spare sufficient time to each student. My son feels engaged and challenged and the atmosphere is friendly.

I used an A Level Business Tutor last year and was very pleased with the experience. The tutor made themselves available at convenient times, resources were well prepared and it was clear that there was a high level of subject knowledge. Sandeman Tutoring helped me to find a maths tutor for my son who needed extra help towards his year 11 exams. We have found this extremely helpful so far and the maths tutor has been very helpful and encouraging during sessions with my son. We worked out a time that would be suitable for us for the maths tutoring. The tutor carried out pre screening questions to assess what stage my son was in maths to enable the right level of support.

I was looking for a GCSE Maths Tutor for my daughter who had lost confidence in her maths ability. I came across Sandeman Tutoring on Google and liked the fact that all tutors were qualified teachers so completed the form to enquire. Josh made contact with me the same day and we discussed what I was looking for and the options available. I decided to go with one group session and one 1-1 session a week, both online. I have used the service of Keystone Tutor preparing for 11 plus exam, for a period of roughly six months. Process of onboarding was really efficient and swift, tutoring of great quality. We have been helped to match to our needs with the perfect tutor - Donal Coonan. The key feature of the tutor was the very engaging tone that kept my ten-year-old boy really interested in the session. Quality of the explanation was really good, giving an intuitive sense on how to approach a problem. The tutoring was not only offering simple equations and tools, but a system of thinking and how to engage with a problem. We would highly recommend the Achieving 11+ tuition centre, which covers everything needed to prepare for the 11+ to a very high standard. The programme included weekly classroom lessons, worksheets, and online lessons throughout. Neetu and her team foster both a strong group ethic and personal resilience, where the students are motivated to succeed in a supportive but competitive environment. The mock exams and preparation in the run-up to the exams are exceptional, as is the personalised feedback you get after each exam. The mocks were almost identical to the type/format of the questions in the actual exams, which is fantastic for familiarisation. What stands out though is the tutor’s level of commitment and dedication, which was truly incredible. Neetu really cares about the success of her students, going above and beyond to support and prepare them, and often dedicating extra time without any additional charge. Our son has learnt and grown so much from this programme, and he misses the tutor group! We are proud of everything he has achieved, which we could not have done without the support of Neetu and her team.

My both daughters have done 11 plus tutoring with Ms Neetu and her passion and commitment really recommendable. She is right teacher for anyone who is serious for 11 plus. I am extremely happy to have found this 11+ tutor for my child. As a parent, I was overwhelmed by the pressure of the preparation but Ms Neetu made it so easy for us. The well-planned weekly worksheets are a great resource to master the skills. They are neither short nor lengthy but just the right amount to learn especially from the 11+ exam perspective. Children become independent as the teacher expects them to follow her simple and well-tested methods. The children start owning the homework. They complete the work so that it helps them in weekly tests.(that has a reward!!). The kind of revision worksheets provided towards the end of the term were an absolute treasure! She goes the extra mile to fill in the gaps for each child and the dedication is truly commendable. Neville has been a blessing to my children, he is very professional, he teaches with a great deal of patience and a sense of high expectation. He truly cares about his students, and I see that in the way he tutors my children. I love the fact that he dialogues with them and gets them to reason. He gets to know your child and tutors the child accordingly. He is prepared to work with your child until the child begins to thrive and actually enjoy the subject. My older child disliked English especially Comprehension, he seems happier, more confident and he enjoys it now. He does his homework which used to be a struggle, and I am hoping the same for my younger who started with him a few months ago. They both passed their entrance exam into a private school we wanted them to attend.

Deptford Tutors are excellent in helping children progress. My daughter started tutoring with in March and has already made significant and notable improvement. She has been awarded a certificate by her school teacher for great improvement in maths. Neville demonstrates professionalism, and is always supportive. He strives to understand the needs of every child and sets work accordingly. He gives constructive feed back at the end of every session which helps parents understand where their child is working at and how they can help them. My son got the offer from his 1st choice super selective grammar school, I’d like to give a huge thanks to his tutor, Dan. My son was below average in writing skills, speed and vocabulary before we approached Ivy for help in the January of Yr 5. After just a few months of tutoring with Dan, I could see his rapid improvement in writing. Dan taught creative writing in a disciplined and systematic way. He knew exactly how the examiners mark the answers, and how my son could get the highest scores in the English paper. Dan also helped my son’s other areas such as written comprehensions and VR. Oh I forgot to mention he had the sample papers of our target schools! When it came to my son’s real entrance exams in September, my son was fully prepared- not only he passed the exam of our 1st choice grammar school, he also passed all other exams we applied, and got full marks in some of them!

We went to TAG for additional support as my son prepared for the barrage of 11+ and senior school entry exams. All the team at TAG seem fabulous and so engaged in their work with the children but my son idolises his tutor, Felix. He's keen to go to his lesson, comes out beaming from ear to ear, AND has significantly accelerated his learning. They've loved Maths problem solving together and worked hard to build on my son's English comprehension and analysis skills. Felix is patient and creative in finding ways to embed the knowledge, whilst keeping the sessions vibrant and productive. Tailoring the sessions to what most needs to be worked on but adding in some of the things he's strong on to keep the confidence up. I would highly recommend TAG and Felix for both 11+ and more rounded educational support. Thank you.

TAG has been our first and only choice for homeschooling. It has been a challenging decision to become homeschooled at year 7, but being part of TAG has made it a reassuring and positive experience. Felix and Holly have given Oscar the most creative and stimulating projects throughout the term. Their ability to understand the potential of a child and adapt the learning accordingly is amazing. Oscar has learned so much in such a short time. Each project has given Oscar a unique opportunity to combine multiple disciplines, and over time, work towards a final objective. TAG team has taken a special place in our lives and we value greatly all the effort TAG team puts in, not withstanding warm welcomes and friendly chats we share.

I looked for an essay writing summer tutor for my children as I feel the English system does not focus on teaching children how to present analytical thinking in written form but rather mainly on content. It seems to be assumed that the children will find their way to writing good essays (and clearly many do). However, coming from the American system, in which the process of HOW to write a good essay is taught almost as a standalone subject, I felt that my children would be best served going into a writing task with the strongest possible toolset so that the ideas and ultimately what to write would become their only challenge. How to write would be second nature. I contacted Tania at Uber Tutors after a lot of research and, via her incredibly personalised interview approach, she matched a fantastic tutor with my children. Over the course of the summer, they learned how to structure, present and write an argument. They also learned how to incorporate evidence, be it literary, historical or data driven. Not only do they now approach every school essay confidently (dare I say enthusiastically?) but their teachers have mentioned their writing skills to me across the curriculum. I cannot thank Tania and Uber Tutors enough.

The matched tutors for Sociology and Geography A level were outstanding. I have consistently used Uber Tutors for my child since year 5, elevating their potential at different stages of their State and Comprehensive schooling. Uber Tutors coached my child through their dyslexia diagnosis, immediately understanding their needs and instilling confidence. They have now finished A levels top of their class and top three in their year for their chosen subjects, including A*s in Sociology and Geography. In total 3 x A* and 1 x A. Uber tutors helped my son to improve from year 8 level(when he was at year 10) to year 11 within one year. They have a very good system that starts by assessing the the level of the child and then recommended the lessons required. However it doesn't end there. They also consider the child's personality and meticulously find the best tutor who would mach with the child. Prior to Uber tutors we tried a few other companies but none had a proper system in place. The tutors are very knowledgeable and helpful. There's clear and effective communication between the teacher and parents and a detailed feedback provided at the end of each and every lesson.
