I believe my son benefited from tutoring at Top Tutors in Roman road, in a very short period of time they managed to identify and fill the gaps in his knowledge which helped my son with passing the 11+ exam. I believe the tutors here are attentive and insightful, they prepare tasks based on each student’s individual level, they spare sufficient time to each student. My son feels engaged and challenged and the atmosphere is friendly.

I’ve been coming to this tuition place for over a year and it’s one of the best - all the teachers really support you with topics you struggle with and encourage you to achieve higher - I was mainly getting grade 6-7s in science and maths but this results day ended up with 8-9s and a huge part of that is because of toptutors- can’t recommend them enough :)

My daughter attends this centre and she absolutely loves it. The brothers who teach her are amazing at what they do allahumma barik and she is always looking forward to going to class. It is also amazing that they have considered the homeschooling community and facilitated this for us during school times. If you are homeschooling and looking for somewhere to complement the work you do with your child or you want to test that your child is at the right level then this is a great place to come on Thursday at 1pm to 3pm as it is specifically for homeschooling families. They offer English, Maths and science.

Luke has been tutoring our child for a year now and we couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional teaching he’s been providing. Our child has improved significantly in both maths and English. TAG has been our first and only choice for homeschooling. It has been a challenging decision to become homeschooled at year 7, but being part of TAG has made it a reassuring and positive experience. Felix and Holly have given Oscar the most creative and stimulating projects throughout the term. Their ability to understand the potential of a child and adapt the learning accordingly is amazing. Oscar has learned so much in such a short time. Each project has given Oscar a unique opportunity to combine multiple disciplines, and over time, work towards a final objective. Luke is a great tutor. My daughter has been doing the lessons with him for almost 2 years. She always says Luke is her favourite teacher because he makes learning very fun for the children and encourages them to explore and achieve more.

We went to TAG for additional support as my son prepared for the barrage of 11+ and senior school entry exams. All the team at TAG seem fabulous and so engaged in their work with the children but my son idolises his tutor, Felix. He's keen to go to his lesson, comes out beaming from ear to ear, AND has significantly accelerated his learning. They've loved Maths problem solving together and worked hard to build on my son's English comprehension and analysis skills. Felix is patient and creative in finding ways to embed the knowledge, whilst keeping the sessions vibrant and productive. Sandeman Tutoring helped me to find a maths tutor for my son who needed extra help towards his year 11 exams. We have found this extremely helpful so far and the maths tutor has been very helpful and encouraging during sessions with my son. We worked out a time that would be suitable for us for the maths tutoring. The tutor carried out pre screening questions to assess what stage my son was in maths to enable the right level of support.

My son has really engaged with his tutoring for GCSE Computer Science with Josh. He’s making good progress towards his exams and is motivated for his lessons.

Finding the right tutor to help our child prepare for the 11+ exams was super important to us. We are really glad to have found that special tutor in Klevis. We engaged him early to give our child the best chance to do well. Even though there is still time to go before the examinations, we are already seeing the difference. Our child has settled well in his routine, is developing a work ethic for homework and looks forward to his lessons with Klevis.

Our daughter also had Maria for UCAT exam training for medschool. Due to Maria's help, she did very well on the UCAT. Maria has a wealth of knowledge about medschool and the UCAT, and Chloe found her to be a lovely, supportive teacher who was able to explain things very well. Our daughter has had Seth as a tutor for the last two months for physics, and she has improved dramatically. He is very committed, with a natural teaching flair, and puts all his effort into helping her do well.

Working with Tom for A level Philosophy has made revising and preparing for my upcoming exams much easier than it could have been. I enjoyed my meeting with Yusuf and can see potential in our work together on my PS. My only issue is that I think he is too focused on the philosophical side of PPE as he suggested I read another philosophy book for my PS when I already mentioned one. Especially since for one university I’m applying to economics and politics (bath) as it doesn’t have PPE. So therefore, I would prefer if my PS is more well-rounded of all three subjects.

My son got the offer from his 1st choice super selective grammar school, I’d like to give a huge thanks to his tutor, Dan. My son was below average in writing skills, speed and vocabulary before we approached Ivy for help in the January of Yr 5. After just a few months of tutoring with Dan, I could see his rapid improvement in writing. Dan taught creative writing in a disciplined and systematic way. He knew exactly how the examiners mark the answers, and how my son could get the highest scores in the English paper. Dan also helped my son’s other areas such as written comprehensions and VR. Oh I forgot to mention he had the sample papers of our target schools! When it came to my son’s real entrance exams in September, my son was fully prepared- not only he passed the exam of our 1st choice grammar school, he also passed all other exams we applied, and got full marks in some of them!

Extremely happy with the staff at Charlton Riverside. They really care about the children's education. My kids really enjoy the way Maths and English are taught here and tutors make a real effort to build rapport with the children and support them with their learning. Regular catch-ups are scheduled to discuss the children's performance and it's also a chance for me to ask any questions I have throughout the year. I think the weekly classes have improved my kids' school grades (my kids do one class a week). They also offer 11+ for any parents looking to go down the grammar school route.
