To Whom it May Concern: Stephen Ridley of STR Electrics inspected our new property, on 18th April 2015. In addition to the routine inspections he also reviewed potential for fitting external lights, and whilst engaged in the internal inspections noted a failed fire alarm on the top floor in which he replaced the batteries. His inspection was arranged over the telephone, and his responses and adaptability to the requirements were second to none. His efficient use of the internet to maintain contact and to exchange information is to be commended and his attention to detail is exemplary. Alex and Chris are absolutely fantastic. Nothing is too much bother for them. Clear communication when they were coming and what they were doing. We had a minor issue with a light that stopped working after a couple weeks of the job being done (manufacturer fault not theirs). Rang them and they were there the same day to get it sorted. This weekend my parents electricity went completely out. They have a Victorian terraced property and were expecting the worst. Alex came over quickly and spent an hour working through the various challenges. He spent extra time after fixing the electrics to find what might have short circuited so that my parents could solve the wider issue. I cannot recommend Alex’s service enough. Now I have his phone number in my book I know I have a reliable and friendly contact who knows his stuff. 10/10 and I’m so more relaxed knowing if this happens again there is a reliable contact nearby who we can trust in.

I highly recommend the Tyneside Electrical Services. Received a phone call to say they were on the way on the expected time which was great. My two ceiling light chandeliers were put up quickly with no mess at all a lovely clean job.I was delighted. The two men were great and friendly plus offered a lot of good advice. The price was very good with a 5 year warranty what more can you want. Brilliant. I will definitely use this company again.

Tyneside electrical services came out within a few days of calling, at a time that suited me. They were quick and tidy. Price was set and agreed in advance of them coming and was very reasonable. I'm so impressed with the work M E Electrical carried out for me. They attended at extremely short notice after we discovered work that needed to be done before guests were due to stay in the room. Talked us through a few other things which we needed to have done in the future and suggested alternative approaches. Work was carried out quickly and efficiently, even fully clearing up after themselves. Can't recommend highly enough.

Peter responded within 2 to 3 hrs to an emergency in my flat. Water escape into a light fitting. He was very polite and explained what was needed to be done in order to make it safe. The price was very reasonable and he will visit the property in a few weeks time after drying out to erect a permanent fixture - all included in the price. I would highly recommend this Company and will certainly use them again if needed in the future. Definitely 10 out of 10 for their service.

Jeff came very promptly to sort out an issue for us with upstairs lights tripping. He was friendly and professional and quickly resolved the issue which was very much appreciated. This was our first encounter with Jeff but we feel very confident we will be asking him to return for any future work.

Due to wear and tear our shower cord snapped which meant we couldn't switch the power on for the shower, which also meant no shower, I was horrified... Text Jeff on the Thursday evening late on, Jeff replied reliable as ever, he so polite he never ignores a text. Came out this morning on a Saturday and was done in 40minutes. Absolute gent, tidy, polite, courteous, cant fault him or his work. This is the second time using Jeff's services and I wouldn't go anywhere else for electrical problems..would 110% recommend his services to friends and family... he also does not overcharge you or rip you off as its always a concern for customers who rely on tradespeople to be fair and honest and Jeff most definitely is.

First class service, friendly and professional. Paul installed a Zappi EV charger for me. The initial installation took longer than expected and in the end it didn't work. I have to stress here the unit was faulty and it had nothing to do with anything Paul had done. I received a replacement charger today and Paul was out to fit it in a few hours. The new one works perfectly now. Thanks Paul for your quick response once the new charger arrived. Some people would have left me waiting for weeks if they had the already been paid!
