Reay electricals were fantastic! From start to finish they kept me up to date with the full re-wire which was a big job. They worked day and night as well as on the weekend to accommodate timescales which was greatly appreciated. The call handler was very sympathetic and professional and got a next day appointment to allow for childcare cover. electricians arrived and got the job done in about half an hour - they had to reposition two double sockets and just replace other. very friendly, efficient and showed me working sockets. I called ‘Emergency Electrician London’ after a failed Smart Meter installation by our energy company (sub-contracted out to Magnum Utilities) left us with no power in the house at all. I got an answering machine initially but didn’t leave a message as I thought I’d just try another company. However, Cyril called back within 2 mins. and agreed to pop around within 90 mins. He arrived after about 60 mins. and got to work straight away and managed to find the issue after about 10 mins (a disconnected wire). He explained to me exactly what had happened and got the power back on within another 5 mins. and then he proceeded to check all the other connections to ensure they were tight - some were very loose. All in all he was very professional, on time and he clearly knew what he was doing. Overall I’m very happy with his service and thankful for his quick response and fix.

Recently had an entire house rewired to a very high standard ! This comprised a new fuse box with RCD protection, light switches & sockets throughout and even the addition of a garage consumer unit. Brittons have done a few small jobs at my Mam’s over the years. The service is beyond reproach. A very friendly bloke, and nothing is ever a problem. Work always completed to an excellent standard, and he turns up when he says he will which is all too rare these days. I would not go anywhere else for electrical work in the area.
