Superb vets. I would highly recommend registering with the practice for many reasons. They are extremely busy, if you want first rate service, get your pet registered so as not to have disappointment when you need help. They are amazing! I sadly had to say goodbye to my little one yesterday. She was well known for being a 'character'. She picked and chose, throughout the years, which vets she would let treat her, vets can't mind read and pets cannot talk, but working together, we got there, and l hope they agree with me it was done with grace and humour! From the bottom of my heart l cannot thank you enough for all you did for her. Rose, was outstanding at the end of my little one's journey. Thank you for those brave enough to tackle her, and those who were swiftly dismissed by her. Quality, caring and knowledgeable service. Best wishes and much love to each and every one of you. Thank you is just not enough!!

Went with maggie as she wasn't eating. The vet suspected an infection and a hour later she was opperated on . Pick her this morning and she is doing fine ,well done to the team

I cannot thank the staff at Scott Mitchell's for the wonderful care shown to my grandsons dog Merlin. I truly believe they saved his life. We took him just before Christmas and we had started to think we wouldn't get him home. He's an old lurcher, suffering from severe dehydration and a high temperature. Thanks to the dedication of Rose, Sophie and all the wonderful nurses we got him home. Throughout this time I was very anxious about the costs, as my grandson couldn't afford to insure him. The staff were thankfully very aware of my concerns. Whilst giving him everything he needed, they didn't put him thorough any unnecessary "tests" only the ones he needed to aid his recovery. I know that not all veterinary practices are this honest. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you all. I'm normally a client at Tow Law but due to needing 24 hour care we were with the Hexham practice this time. I've always highly recommended the wonderful Sally and Becky for everything they've done for my little dog, but now add all of the Hexham staff to my list. I'd highly recommend both of these practices and their amazing staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Emergency appointment on a Sunday evening. No nonsense, no beating around the bush. Straight in and the very best of care and compassion! I was a new customer so they could have refused. No payment upfront before my puppy was seen. Highly recommend worth more than a 5 star.

I can’t thanks Scott Mitchell’s enough. Arlo, our Staffordshire Bull Terrier is now back to his old self following major surgery and that is due entirely to the professionalism and care from absolutely everyone at the practice. Highly recommended and would give more stars if I could!
