Oliver has been an incredibly professional, competent, easy and kind person to work with. We contacted him to re-design our quirky terraced garden and despite multiple constraints, he managed to come up with a beautiful plan. He listened to all our desires and included them in the design, by also advising and sharing his knowledge and expertise. He was always very clear around the timeline of the deliverables and once the plan was approved, helped us search for the landscapers; he recommended 3 companies that he knows well and helped us choose the best fit for our project. Along the building phase, we stayed in touch for checks and tips and helped us order plants and water feature. I couldn’t recommend him enough! We’ll be forever grateful for making our dream come true.

Great gardening! This happened at the end of May. I called Eden as I had been let down by my regular gardener. I had never used him before but saw the great reviews. I was having fencing re-done and needed the grass cut urgently. He was immediately able to work something out in his schedule and come over the very next day. He and his colleague were quick, efficient, friendly and helpful. It was also reasonably priced. I will be using Burford Gardens from now on for my gardening needs.

Eden was amazing to deal with. He was quick and responsive with correspondence. He turned up on time and did a fantastic job. Our engagement of Nina Baxter Garden Design for the design and delivery of our new back garden was a very positive experience. From the beginning, Nina understood (i.e. make sense of) and was able to visualize our aspirations for the garden (kind of Mediterranean / southern USA mix, with a bit of Japan also) as one cohesive entity rather than the disparate mess we would no doubt have made of it if left to our own devices. The layout, especially the addition of the pergola with some subtle lighting, and splashes of orange render on the existing walls, all worked very well, and her choice of planting was really inspired – lots of things we never heard of have sprouted and added different colours and interest all throughout different times of the year, with very little to no maintenance too (as was one important part of our brief). Despite the hot summer, the planting flourished and grew amazingly well. Following the design process, Nina helped procure the work and manage the builder (also very good, despite having to deal with snow in March!) and delivered the garden to a very high standard. Post completion care has been very good also. We have ended up with a superb outdoor space which has given us much pleasure over the last six months, both after work and during weekends, with delightful surprises (ooh, grapes!) and it completely fulfilling our brief. It was also delivered within our original budget. We would conclude that we found Nina Baxter Garden Design to be professional, talented, diligent and completely co-operative throughout the whole process, and in the event we ever move, would not hesitate in appointing them again.

One of the best companies I have used. I was looking to get a new driveway but I also had a damp issue in the basement of my flat. Alick is such a value added for his knowledge and experience. Other contractors were just interested in what surface to lay. Alick fave me the solution for the damp, digging out trenches around the basement, repairing damaged pipe work, he uncovered an old coal bunker and dealt with it. The finished driveway is absolutely beautiful and the damp issue has gone. Highly recommend Alick and his team.

Alick and his team of Mitch, Costa and Remi were excellent from start to finish. They took a very unloved back garden, and levelled it, before laying some high quality stone, as well as some artificial grass that I was very happy with in terms of how realistic it looks. All work was completed in two days. All done with consideration, good communication, and excellent courtesy from the team, who took their time to tidy up after themselves comprehensively. Thanks!

Alick has done a fantastic job on our back garden. His team is polite, professional and quick. They've levelled the slope in the garden, renewed the grass and installed patio tiles - it looks clean, accurate and precisely to the spec. The works: Re-laying a patio garden in porcelain, replacing rotten section of a fence and rebuilding with hit and miss panels, cladding a raised flower bed and finishing with slate coping (mine is a tiny garden) and replacing the path to the front of my property. Having received 4 competitive quotes, I was ready to press the button with my preferred contractor, but something didn’t sit right… so, I opted for a last-minute 5th quote from MK Landscape. From my initial meeting with Mike, he filled me with confidence, extremely professional and highly knowledgeable. So when I received his equally competitive quote it was such an easy decision. Most of the work was carried out by Josh with Mike overseeing and assisting. From start to finish Mike and Josh were brilliant, turned up on time or early, kept me informed, did what they said and left the area clean and tidy at the end of each working day. I am absolutely thrilled with the result. I have received lots of complements from neighbours and visitors, not only on the completed works but also about Mike and Josh in particular who my neighbours complemented on how friendly, polite and helpful he is. Mike and his team have transformed part of the garden that we rarely used and now we will get much more use when the sun finally comes out!
