Alex did an absolutely wonderful job replacing a fence panel that had fallen down in our back garden. I would definitely recommend him to everyone and anyone! He was polite, honest, informative, hard-working and affordable. He was punctual and respectful of the property when he arrived to carry out the work. He carried out the work quickly and efficiently and to a very high quality. I would definitely use him again.

Grateful to have found Alex and his crew! They transformed our garden space with new fences, paving, and artificial turf with such great care and professional. Alex and his team did an amazing job on my front and back gardens. Both gardens were in a terrible state before and Alex and his team did a complete makeover. Alex had really good ideas about things we hadn’t thought about, gave us lots of great advice and we’re super happy with the outcome! Alex & his team turned up early everyday, worked until late (even in the dark and pouring rain!) and left everything neat and tidy each day. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

So so cool. The bus itself is amazing, and they do these miniature garden workshops which are incredible! You learn loads and get to take home the one that you make! Such good value - would defiantly recommend.

Visited Rootlabs Farmbus for a workshop on soilless growing and it was awesome! The course was so informative and I left totally convinced that this is the future of how all food will be grown. I have my own restaurant and will definitely be organising for an installation to be set up there. Can't wait to tell my customers where their food was grown :)

One of a kind plant center slash bus, never seen anything quite like it. Excellently cared for plants in unique pots. Everything extremely reasonably priced. Bought 3 roses two months ago and they are blooming spectacularly! The guys are really helpful with tips on how to care for your plants and it’s clear this is a passion of theirs. Also does workshops on how to care for plants. Located near the entrance of a huuuuge food market so it makes a wonderful pit stop.

I really enjoyed the extremely well lead and informative workshop run by Rootlabs. They use some brilliantly innovate systems to grow food, and we made a cool mini landscape. Recommended!

I feel so lucky to have found Austen. The other reviews here were spot-on. He was extremely responsive, bang on time, super friendly, and so kind to explain all the plants we have and how we can take care of them. We were actually stressed out about our garden getting out of control for a long time, and it really wasn’t easy to find help. I chanced upon Austen on Google, and within 4 days he was down and sorted us out! I feel like I can finally rest easy and enjoy our garden. We’ll be calling on him again and will recommend him far and wide!!

Austen came to ours to do a pre-Spring sort out, including weeding, pruning mowing and general tidying up. He did a great job and knew exactly what to do with each of our plants. His price was very reasonable and he arrived on time and with an impressive range of tools! We will definitely use him for future garden maintenance.

What a brilliant team Urban Gardeners are! From booking the service, to completing the job, they are complete professionals. The gardeners arrived early and were super efficient in clearing my garden. And the added bonus is they charge a great price. Usually my Dad takes care of the garden, but because of his recent health issues the garden had become really overgrown. I tried to tackle it myself, but I didn’t have the right tools for the job. I started looking for a company to clear the garden, which is when I discovered Urban Gardeners online and contacted them. Correspondence with Plamena was superb: all emails were answered promptly and professionally. Pricing was clearly explained and I was happy to proceed with a mutually agreed date and time. The two gentlemen that came to the house were polite, considerate to our home, and amongst the hardest working people I’ve ever encountered. The weather was really hot on the day they came, but they still grafted despite the heat. They did an excellent job of clearing our garden, and were done within an hour (initially we thought it would take 3hrs). So even with us also paying for removal of the garden waste, it was still cheaper than we expected. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I’ve already recommended them to several of my colleagues and clients. If in the future I can persuade my Dad to pave or turf the garden this is the company I’ll be calling.

A huge thank you to the Urban Gardeners team for transforming our garden here in Peckham, SE London. The garden was previously in very bad shape (rotten decking, steps, and dying / weed-ridden lawn. The team did an amazing job of clearing everything out (including removal of a tree!) and then building an entirely new and extended hard-wood deck and stairs / landing and also replacing the lawn with the beautiful stripes you can see! Communication throughout from Plamena was great and with the team on the ground they were very good at asking questions and making small adjustments as required throughout the process. I requested a few small changes to the initial quote and this was dealt with in a very friendly and flexible way. The team were very pleasant throughout, got rid of all the mess, and also did the whole thing for a very fair and reasonable price. We highly recommend Jonathan and his team at Lloyd’s Gardens of London. Jonathan spent a lot of time working with us to get the layout right and making the most of our budget. The guys on site were very friendly and left the place neat and tidy at the end of each day. Our dog is very much missing their company! The finished garden has transformed an overgrown mess to a split level landscape of decking areas and lawn, surrounded with raised planters. We pretty much spend a bit of every day out there now, it’s our favourite room in the house!

I had already scared off two companies with my plans for paving. The scary bit for these guys was a 'picky' customer with plans for, amongst other things, a central patio with curved edging, using irregularly shaped York stone of varying thicknesses. I also wanted them to maintain my layout of the stones as I had placed them on the ground. There were no spares! Jonathan's response was to try and reassure me that it was 'no problem'. We went with Jonathan firstly because I believed him and secondly because no one else would quote! When it came to it his guys carefully marked and lifted each stone and laid them out on the adjoining beds thus maintaining the layout. And when the base was ready they relaid them perfectly. The further block paving paths, small rear patio, turfing and fencing was finished perfectly. It had rained much of the time, so when, a few days after they had finished and the stones had dried out, I noticed one of them had dried noticeably lighter, I messaged Jonathan. He explain that this stone was used because it fitted better, but not to worry - Gary will be around to switch it back. A week later Gary came round and got stuck in. I went to check on how it was looking as he was tiding up. It took a while to find the reinstated stone and only could because the pointing was still wet. Their work is top notch, on time and no surprises when it came to settling up. Communication was reassuringly responsive. I really couldn't recommend them more highly!

This is the second time we have used Lloyds on a garden project, and we were very happy with the job done at our previous address. For this larger project at our new home, we were in no doubt as to who to use. Jonathan, Gary and the team were exemplary throughout, initially advising on design and working collaboratively to meet our needs and wants whilst guiding us as to the best ways to overcome technical difficulties (sloping garden, drainage issues) in ways which enhanced the beauty of the end result. Jonathan’s advice and experience in selecting materials and ensuring the best foundations for the project was invaluable. When it came to the build itself, we couldn’t have been more happy. Jonathan and Gary have skilled, dedicated and hard working team. Always punctual, always exceeding expectations, creative, adaptable and prepared to go the extra mile. The team work quietly and diligently, are thoughtful and polite (everything always left tidy). We really miss having the guys around now they are gone! Our project involved hard and soft landscaping, planting, irrigation, electrics, lighting, fence replacement and tree surgery - Jonathan managed the whole project seamlessly with transparent and prompt communication. What really sets Lloyds apart is the attention to detail - from selecting materials, to ensuring straight cuts, to lining up every plank of decking and every screw to the millimetre. They are perfectionists. In the end, we couldn’t be more happy with the result or the process and would recommend Lloyds without hesitation.

We used Lloyds for a major 14 week project rebuilding our back garden. Jonathan and Gary helped us navigate through the process from design to completion. Our garden looks beautiful but has been built to stand the test of time, from the underlying construction to the materials used. The team were extremely hard working, thoughtful and a pleasure to have on site. They also kept our dog entertained (and fed) during lunch breaks.

Jen did a fantastic job on the roof garden and back garden. She laid fresh lawn in the rear garden and planted up pots with bright flowers for summer on the roof terrace. An excellent service and fantastic to work with. Some great suggestions for the garden too.

I asked Jen to come and deliver and plant a Ruby Red Rose bush in my back garden for an anniversary present for my partner. Not only did she come and do this but ended up clearing out my whole garden, pruning the hydrangia and trees. Jen has a lovely personality and is an expert in gardening and I would not hesitate to engage her professionally for any gardening work. Her assistant Aaron is also a lovely friendly person and came early to dig the hole needed for the plant. They made the experience most enjoyable and went far beyond what was expected of them. I now employ them on other projects, they have been so efficient.
