We were very pleased with Nightingale Garden & Home Ltd., which did a boundary fence repair (2 fence spurs) and installed a new trellis. Luke was prompt in responding to our questions, honest, and helpful during our pre-job discussions. The team was professional in carrying out the work: punctual, polite, easy to work with, hardworking, and efficient. They removed all the rubbish, leaving the garden clean and tidy. In addition, they dealt calmly with an unexpected glitch. We recommend them highly.

The excellent reviews are all so well deserved. The whole process was seamless. Luke was extremely helpful and responsive in arranging the work - provided detailed and accurate quotes and confirmed all arrangements. The team on the day were excellent - Easton and Ava worked really hard, and to an extremely high standard. As the property is let to tenants and I was not on site, they provided photo and video updates, and kept us informed throughout. Easton and Ava were clearly very knowledgeable, and did a fantastic job of completely transforming and very overgrown and neglected garden. Thank you. Highly recommended.

Luke and team have transformed my front garden and I’m thrilled with the results. From coming up with a design that fitted with my budget and needs to delivering a fantastic finish, all the work was done neatly and professionally and it was really nice to have such a friendly crew on-site. I feel so lucky to have found Austen. The other reviews here were spot-on. He was extremely responsive, bang on time, super friendly, and so kind to explain all the plants we have and how we can take care of them. We were actually stressed out about our garden getting out of control for a long time, and it really wasn’t easy to find help. I chanced upon Austen on Google, and within 4 days he was down and sorted us out! I feel like I can finally rest easy and enjoy our garden. A huge thank you to the Urban Gardeners team for transforming our garden here in Peckham, SE London. The garden was previously in very bad shape (rotten decking, steps, and dying / weed-ridden lawn. The team did an amazing job of clearing everything out (including removal of a tree!) and then building an entirely new and extended hard-wood deck and stairs / landing and also replacing the lawn with the beautiful stripes you can see! Communication throughout from Plamena was great and with the team on the ground they were very good at asking questions and making small adjustments as required throughout the process. I requested a few small changes to the initial quote and this was dealt with in a very friendly and flexible way. The team were very pleasant throughout, got rid of all the mess, and also did the whole thing for a very fair and reasonable price. Usually my Dad takes care of the garden, but because of his recent health issues the garden had become really overgrown. I tried to tackle it myself, but I didn’t have the right tools for the job. I started looking for a company to clear the garden, which is when I discovered Urban Gardeners online and contacted them. Correspondence with Plamena was superb: all emails were answered promptly and professionally. Pricing was clearly explained and I was happy to proceed with a mutually agreed date and time. The two gentlemen that came to the house were polite, considerate to our home, and amongst the hardest working people I’ve ever encountered. The weather was really hot on the day they came, but they still grafted despite the heat. They did an excellent job of clearing our garden, and were done within an hour (initially we thought it would take 3hrs). So even with us also paying for removal of the garden waste, it was still cheaper than we expected. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I’ve already recommended them to several of my colleagues and clients. If in the future I can persuade my Dad to pave or turf the garden this is the company I’ll be calling.

Billy and his excellent team have just completed a large landscaping project for us in SE24 including a full revamp of the front of our house (paving area, new fencing on both sides, new side return gate, new steps to the front door, building and installing bin-store and bike-store onto concrete base, gravel parking area etc) and a patio and some lawn-planting to the rear. We could not be happier and would highly recommend his work. The site was a very difficult one as the house is on a slope both from left to right and to some degree from front to back and there were other complications with drainage and boundaries. Billy was not the cheapest but we have used landscapers many times before and you get what you pay for - now that it is finished, we definitely felt we got value for money. Billy himself is a whirling dervish of creative energy (and it takes a few visits to get used to, if you are not a high energy person yourself) but that comes out in the passion he feels for his work and the constant energy he brings with ideas and solutions as the project develops. It is definitely a massive positive to have someone so energised by their work and who clearly cares so much about the perfection of the end product so don't be put off - remember that what you want is the best possible landscaping, not a Yoga teacher! You can tell that his team are very happy working for him and respect him a lot. We had six or seven different guys on site during our project and all of them were punctual, worked hard (even when it was a long day in the hot sun), were professional and polite (even taking the time always to help my wife carry the pram and shopping etc in and out of the house), and cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day before going home. The end product has really made our house (which we have built over the course of the last year) and of all of the parts of this long project, it was the one both my wife and I are happiest with, the one that ran the most smoothly and the one that ended up the highest quality. We don't really want to put our full address online but Billy can give you our details and you can come by and take a look for yourself and, if we're in, we'd be happy to answer any questions. Billy and his team have done a wonderful job on my front garden. The garden style is very contemporary but melds perfectly with the Victorian facade. The finish is to a high standard and I've had lots of admiring comments from friends, neighbours and passers-by. Thanks Will for saving our bonsai box tree, and being so meticulous and thorough about coming and fumigating our tree against Chinese caterpillar, coming not only once or twice but many times to give advice and see that the little pests did not come back again. Will and his team literally transformed our garden and were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We had used Will before for tree cutting, turf laying and general maintenance but decided to get a new deck, fence and artificial lawn this year due to a muddy new puppy! It has exceeded all our expectations. Looks like we had a designer in to plan it but Will just knew what he was doing and nailed it in less than 3 weeks. Looking out at our fairy lit tree this winter (thanks for going to extra mile Will!) instead of a muddy pit we are beyond happy with it. Would whole heartedly recommend him.
