Delighted to recommend this company for unusual and challenging projects, even if smaller than typical corporate landscaping. We needed help with an idiosyncratic, personal, rather eccentric, garden design. It involved arboricultural care, exterior building, tiling, atypical lay-out, attention to elderly client needs, sensitivity to neighbours, and it was all achieved within a very reasonable labour charges and on time, in good humour. Not easy to find in this town!

I feel so lucky to have found Austen. The other reviews here were spot-on. He was extremely responsive, bang on time, super friendly, and so kind to explain all the plants we have and how we can take care of them. We were actually stressed out about our garden getting out of control for a long time, and it really wasn’t easy to find help. I chanced upon Austen on Google, and within 4 days he was down and sorted us out! I feel like I can finally rest easy and enjoy our garden. We’ll be calling on him again and will recommend him far and wide!!

Austen came to ours to do a pre-Spring sort out, including weeding, pruning mowing and general tidying up. He did a great job and knew exactly what to do with each of our plants. His price was very reasonable and he arrived on time and with an impressive range of tools! We will definitely use him for future garden maintenance.

Will and his team literally transformed our garden and were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We had used Will before for tree cutting, turf laying and general maintenance but decided to get a new deck, fence and artificial lawn this year due to a muddy new puppy! It has exceeded all our expectations. Looks like we had a designer in to plan it but Will just knew what he was doing and nailed it in less than 3 weeks. Looking out at our fairy lit tree this winter (thanks for going to extra mile Will!) instead of a muddy pit we are beyond happy with it. Would whole heartedly recommend him.

Thanks Will for saving our bonsai box tree, and being so meticulous and thorough about coming and fumigating our tree against Chinese caterpillar, coming not only once or twice but many times to give advice and see that the little pests did not come back again. You are always ready to help and suggest and it is much appreciated.

Farmer Will did a fantastic job of putting up a new fence and cutting back/clearing a lot of our very overgrown garden. He and his colleague were reliable, polite and immaculately tidy. Our neighbour was so impressed with the job that he asked us to share Will’s details with him! We’ll definitely be asking him to come back!

Billy and his team were a delight to work with and they really saved our garden, after we were let down badly by the first company we hired. Billy and his team have done a wonderful job on my front garden. The garden style is very contemporary but melds perfectly with the Victorian facade. The finish is to a high standard and I've had lots of admiring comments from friends, neighbours and passers-by. The team worked very hard, turning up early every day, and were flexible, pleasant, polite and tidy. I highly recommend them.

Billy and his excellent team have just completed a large landscaping project for us in SE24 including a full revamp of the front of our house (paving area, new fencing on both sides, new side return gate, new steps to the front door, building and installing bin-store and bike-store onto concrete base, gravel parking area etc) and a patio and some lawn-planting to the rear. We could not be happier and would highly recommend his work. The site was a very difficult one as the house is on a slope both from left to right and to some degree from front to back and there were other complications with drainage and boundaries. Billy was not the cheapest but we have used landscapers many times before and you get what you pay for - now that it is finished, we definitely felt we got value for money. Billy himself is a whirling dervish of creative energy (and it takes a few visits to get used to, if you are not a high energy person yourself) but that comes out in the passion he feels for his work and the constant energy he brings with ideas and solutions as the project develops. It is definitely a massive positive to have someone so energised by their work and who clearly cares so much about the perfection of the end product so don't be put off - remember that what you want is the best possible landscaping, not a Yoga teacher! You can tell that his team are very happy working for him and respect him a lot. We had six or seven different guys on site during our project and all of them were punctual, worked hard (even when it was a long day in the hot sun), were professional and polite (even taking the time always to help my wife carry the pram and shopping etc in and out of the house), and cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day before going home. The end product has really made our house (which we have built over the course of the last year) and of all of the parts of this long project, it was the one both my wife and I are happiest with, the one that ran the most smoothly and the one that ended up the highest quality. A huge thank you to the Urban Gardeners team for transforming our garden here in Peckham, SE London. The garden was previously in very bad shape (rotten decking, steps, and dying / weed-ridden lawn. The team did an amazing job of clearing everything out (including removal of a tree!) and then building an entirely new and extended hard-wood deck and stairs / landing and also replacing the lawn with the beautiful stripes you can see! Communication throughout from Plamena was great and with the team on the ground they were very good at asking questions and making small adjustments as required throughout the process. I requested a few small changes to the initial quote and this was dealt with in a very friendly and flexible way. The team were very pleasant throughout, got rid of all the mess, and also did the whole thing for a very fair and reasonable price. Usually my Dad takes care of the garden, but because of his recent health issues the garden had become really overgrown. I tried to tackle it myself, but I didn’t have the right tools for the job. I started looking for a company to clear the garden, which is when I discovered Urban Gardeners online and contacted them. Correspondence with Plamena was superb: all emails were answered promptly and professionally. Pricing was clearly explained and I was happy to proceed with a mutually agreed date and time. The two gentlemen that came to the house were polite, considerate to our home, and amongst the hardest working people I’ve ever encountered. The weather was really hot on the day they came, but they still grafted despite the heat. They did an excellent job of clearing our garden, and were done within an hour (initially we thought it would take 3hrs). So even with us also paying for removal of the garden waste, it was still cheaper than we expected. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I’ve already recommended them to several of my colleagues and clients. If in the future I can persuade my Dad to pave or turf the garden this is the company I’ll be calling.

Beautiful wildlife garden in Peckham. Big pond (good for pond dipping), picnic facilities, visitor center, cafe and toilets. Plants for sale. No dogs expect guide dogs. Open 10:30 - 16:30 - Sun, Tues, Weds and Thurs.

White Edge have landscaped two gardens for us now and they are great. They put in hard work, are competitive and come in on time. Both gardens came out very nicely.
