My wife and were visiting from the U.S. recently and The Bull was easily our favorite pub. Perfectly cooked starters/mains, some of the best old-fashioned we've ever tasted, and sticky toffee pudding to die for. A meal our taste buds won't soon forget. Highly recommended!
The Sunday roast was good but not the best I’ve had in London. Don’t get me wrong the porchetta was delicious with amazing crackling. However the cauliflower cheese was not very cheesy it was more just cauliflower, not worth the hefty £7 price tag. After a roast dinner Im often feeling lethargic and unable to move yet I had more than enough room for desert. It was probably the two small potatoes they served or maybe the richness of the area that makes the yummy mummy’s only strain themselves to two tiny potato’s. My sister in law shared a bottle of picpoul with me which was delicious, followed by their (almost) deconstructed sticky toffee pudding which dazzled the taste buds too. If you want to try a roast dinner for the first time with out the overwhelming portions then this is your place, you’ll leave feeling satisfied with good meat and delicious wine!
I had an amazing experience at The Bull. I had the steak which was absolutely perfect. The service was outstanding, with the staff being welcoming throughout. The cozy stylish ambiance made it even better.
Stunning Roast Dinner! Crispy fluffy potatoes and stunning vegan wellington. Welcoming to dogs and brought out water bowl straight away. Vegetarian with yorkshire pudding 💚 can remove to make vegan. 🌱
We came for lunch today on a fully booked New Years Day… the service was so attentive and polite even though there were short staffed and didn’t have everything on the menu available due to supplier delays. Food was really really good. Particularly the beef which is as good as Hawksmoor (same suppliers I believe). Thanks again for looking after our group. We had a great first family meal of 2025.
