We had a fantastic time celebrating my partner's birthday here. The food was delicious, and the service was exceptionally attentive and friendly. It's a beautiful place that definitely deserves to be known!
I went on a quiet Wednesday evening here for a three course meal and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality and great taste of the dishes. The waiter was friendly, prompt and helpful. An exceptional menu and wine list with lots of variety. The restaurant was clean, roomy and nicely decorated. This is now my favourite local restaurant.
I ordered Cod & spinach. It came with nuts & raisins in an oily sauce. The cod was cooked to perfection. It went really well with the Spinach which I've never had before. For dessert I chose Raisins & Chocolate chip ice-cream which was amazing. Total bill was £36.56 which isn't cheap. But,you get what you pay for. Looking forward to going on Sunday for the Roast lunch which I've heard is amazing. The restaurant is run by two brothers. The chefs are world class. Looking forward to going back soon 🫶
Excellent food with great quality ingredients. Such a strong menu with a lot to choose from. We had a few starters and shared the sea bass and a pudding. The sea bass was incredible and rich, definitely serves 2. My highlights were the grilled olives, aubergine and feta starter and of course the sea bass. Lovely vibe in there with nice music. Good setting for lunch or dinner
Been part of the neighbourhood for years and it took us so long, WAY TOO LONG to come and try Palmers. It is IN-CRE-DI-BLE. The food is genuinely 5*, it’s fresh, it’s refined, it’s local. It is hearty but not heavy. It is made with love and delicacy. The service is well timed, extremely polite and caring. The settings is nice, music not too loud so we can actually hear ourselves talking. And the price is very appropriate for the quality. Honestly I wished we had come sooner! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Their Christmas Menu at 40pp with a cracker is fantastic! Well worth it!
