One of the best dining experiences I've had in London (ever). Great tasting menu with paired wines, we had the veggie option - all courses were delicious. Call-out dishes for me were the Jerusalem Artichoke and Tokyo Turnip dishes. The hosting / staff were exceptional, and the vibe in the restaurant was great.
As its name described, it’s like a project that the chief exploring. Very nice service and nice seating arrangement, well paced between dishes. Great value for the package.
Flawless in every way! Every dish was imaginative and beautifully presented. The restaurant has a relaxed vibe and the team work seamlessly together to deliver a truly wonderful dining experience.
- short menu (spring) £125pp this truly was a culinary experience for both the eyes and the tastebuds especially with their (non-alc) drinks pairing; i also adored the intimate and relaxed atmosphere which made it even more special! there were 11 ‘courses’ in total and most of them were fish-focused which was perfect for me; highlights include the scallop, mackerel tart and poached pollock that came with ‘squid’ noodles which was unique and fun. texture-wise, the mains were soup and stew-like so not the most diverse and there was an emphasis on natural flavours from vegetables and herbs etc. which is more delicate and subtle compared to food i usually eat but still tasty! instead of a cheese course, they had a sheep milk’s sorbet and i liked the contrast in textures from the creamy sorbet and the crunchy oat crumb but the dairy flavour was too strong for me. the other desserts, forced rhubarb and canele, were much more up my street and even brought out with a candle which ended the meal on a literal sweet note ❤️
Sensational meal. The creativeness behind how they use all parts of their ingredients is exceptional. Plus the fact they do an excellent non alcoholic pairing to the meals and it’s actually something they’ve put effort into is fantastic. Highly recommend and will be back once the menu changes over.
