Without any doubts, one of the best burgers i‘ve ever eat! The beef was insane, like a Steak on a Burger and the patty, the onions and the sauce were something special, too! Thank you guys for this taste experience, if you haven‘t tried yet, do it. And if the taste just isn‘t enough, the location inside of a church is a must see and a real highlight for everyone!

Forgot to take pics of the food because we were so hungry and then it was so good we couldn’t stop eating! 😆🧡

Beautiful food truck style steak and burger stall upstairs in Mercato Mayfair, with a focus on grass fed British beef. The bavette steak was divine and very high quality, with tart chimichurri and well cooked fries alongside. The burgers were flying out and they looked great too. The price is great for what you get and there's a little wine selection too. Service is friendly and swift. What more can you ask for?

Kitty Fishers was a lovely little place to visit. We had a late Sunday roast lunch. Unfortunately, they were out of the fish but the meat and the veggie option were lovely. We had the mushroom starter which was also fantastic. Quirky, intimate and would lots of history. The cocktails are lovely as well. Recommend.

Starters are amazing “Chicken Liver” was my favourite definitely coming back for more 10/10, mains were also good but not as much as starters 8/10. Prices wise was expensive so would not go as often, they do look after allergies too which was great. Service was excellent 11/10. Overall I would give it 9/10

A phenomenal restaurant. We went here for my Dad’s birthday and had a gorgeous time - such an cosy, intimate place with really warm and considerate staff. The food was some of the best I’ve ever had - unique dishes with flavours and textures that actually work. We had the beetroot to start, followed by the Hake. You’ll have a special evening here

What a unique food court. This church was converted into a two level food court. The lift was broken and down. But there are stairs to the left corner after entering the main floor. Amazing burger fusion at the Beast and Field. Juicy and cooked perfect med/rare. The chips were crispy and delicious. Service was great!

Visiting Mercato Mayfair for the first time was an interesting experience, especially given its unique setting inside a former church. The beautiful, high-ceilinged space, with its soaring arches and stained-glass windows, creates an unexpected backdrop for a bustling food market. The blend of history and modernity gives the place a distinct charm, with rows of food stalls lining the nave and offering a wide range of international street food, from pizza and pasta to burgers and Asian-inspired dishes. However, while the atmosphere is undeniably lively and the location undeniably cool, Mercato Mayfair does have a slightly touristy feel. The market is clearly designed to attract visitors with its vibrant food offerings and picturesque setting, which means it can be a bit crowded, especially on weekends. While the food is certainly tasty, it didn’t quite live up to the high culinary standards of some other renowned London food markets. Many of the dishes are decent, but they aren’t particularly exceptional or unique when compared to what the city’s wider food scene has to offer. Still, the market is a fun spot to grab a bite and soak in the atmosphere. It’s a good option for those looking for a casual meal in a quirky setting, but food connoisseurs may want to venture elsewhere for a more memorable gastronomic experience.

An unusual place for local pubs. But we were here for the second time, this time for Indian food and I recommend it, this plate can be shared, ideally for two people, and tested. a nice change in the basements, where previously there was only a wine bar, they added sushi and a salad bar. If you haven't been there, go and judge for yourself, the first visit is strange because they serve beer on the altar, but the second one, you can see what has changed and enjojed

One of the most unusual market halls I've ever visited. It is hosted by a former church. There are several stands selling food, spread over two levels, there is also a wine cellar and a terrace on the roof. A very beautiful place. Unfortunately, overcrowded.

Ormer Mayfair

One of our best experiences in London. We would say top 5. The food was divine, we went for the pescatarian menu. They change their menu often. The ambience is really cozy, quiet and nice decor. Nice selection of paintings. It’s definitely a place if you like art. The staff were very friendly, polite, and really treated me and my guests very well. It was my birthday and they provided the best atmosphere we could have. Definitely we will return and highly recommend Ormer. When you choose a place more refined like this one you really expect everything sparkling and perfect. I am quite picky with places and I couldn’t find one single fault. I would suggest just a piano as background, apart of that, this experience was perfect.

Ormer Mayfair was more memorable for the service and ambiance than the food. Their tasting menu is a little quick and small portioned even in Michelin Standards. Dishes like their cured Cornish mackerel and roasted pigeon are still good, however the conclusion of the tasting menu left doesn’t leave a full feeling of satisfaction. On the other hand, their service was top notch. Very friendly and personable staff made the restaurant its self a pretty nice attraction and notable in that regard. Overall, I think the menu has to reflect a more fulfilling course selection for value and portion to warrant a visit compared to the limitless other options you could choose from in London.

Celebrated a lunch birthday here and we were all very impressed by the service and food. You need to book in advance. The lobster pie is a standout and has big prices of lobster meat, cooked in a lobster broth. It’s absolutely delicious with strong flavours. The Sunday roast was also just as good, the beef moist, with the some of the best potatoes we’ve ever had. The desserts are out of this world, and are made to order - and it shows. Highly recommend, and would come again. Tips: - make sure you book in advance - there is a 15% service charge

A perfect meal for a wedding anniversary, sometimes when a place has a famous reputation it never feels worth the money but this is not the case here. This is the best seafood I have ever eaten with every mouthful being perfectly cooked and balanced with flavour. We had the octopus carpaccio which is extremely good value and the scallops were perfectly cooked with a lovely sauce. For mains we had cod and Sea bass with aubergine and potatoes. Every single item was lovely even though I am not usually a sea bass fan. We just about managed some sorbet, the coconut and lime is best. The atmosphere is amazing, it is both busy and sociable but not crowded. The service is also impeccable, never waited more than a second or had to ask for anything however it was not rushed. Not cheap (to be expected) however for its reputation, quality and location I felt that 280 including the above and a bottle of champagne was "good value" . Will certainly come back.

Wonderful dining experience at Scott's! The food was superb, the drinks were very good, and the attention to detail from service was above and beyond. We were very well cared for from beginning to end. There is a very good range on the wine list with some very approachable affordable wines by the glass/carafe, as well as some more special stuff by the bottle. Price is of course high but felt fair for the experience.

The service is always very good. One of the only professional places in London where waiting staff are fully trained. The food is good and the portions are filling. The menu could be more variant. Not many options for vegetarians or people who wants more vegetable in their food. I really recommend the monkfish and snail entree which comes with grilled Bonemarrow and rich enough to be a main if you’re not a big eater.

My husband and I decided to book New Year’s Eve dinner at Corrigan’s Mayfair as a treat. We had high expectations and were not disappointed. The cosy atmosphere and tasteful decorations made us feel comfortable straight away but more so was the caring and attentive service. The whole team worked together seamlessly on what must have been a very busy evening and I couldn't help notice the close rapport amongst them that can only exist under considerate leadership. Not forgetting the amazing quality of food and best oysters we have ever tasted. My only wish is that the wonderful band had stayed longer! Well done to everyone for giving us an enjoyable experience - Mr Corrigan should be proud 😉

I have been in this restaurant few days ago for my birthday, we went for the lunch menu three courses which was 38£pp, no wine since I am pregnant and my husband didn’t want to drink on his own. The environment was amazing, the service very attentive , food is great, everything spotless and flavours were really great. I will definately come back to eat the tartare as a starter and the venison which looked great but was way to row for a 7 month pregnant (my husband loved it, meat was super tender and delicious, the polenta left in that way a bit soft was really outstanding). Being a pastry chef I really have to say that the custard tart was delicious, definately my favorite between the two desserts

Great atmosphere for fine dining + private dining. The organization of this was seamless. Selena was very helpful and Toni as well pretty awesome service from both of them. Located just 5 mins walk on the bus (marble Arch station stop) On arrival, we were ushered to the little lobby area where we sat before our room was ready. Booked the chef's table which was facing the kitchen directly. Nice room with a designated wait staff, the views into the kitchen was great, we watched the action life 😃 The food was good could be better, quite salty cod fish, had to ask for it to be replaced and they couldn't make another from scratch due to timing so I had to accept the peasant, which wasn't bad. The 3 course meal was quite good otherwise! Not a lot to pick from on the drinks menu that was non alcoholic. Just 3 options of mocktails but there were soft drinks available too. You get a set menu a la carte ranging in prices from £65 upwards. The restaurant itself is cute and a small deck for sitting outside. Not too far from Selfridges etc. I would recommend it for small parties, romantic dinners and small official meetings as there are 3 private dining rooms. 😍

Goodman

24-26 Maddox St, London W1S 1QH, UK | Steak House
P: 020 7499 3776

Rating: 4.7 (2198) Price Level:

I visited Goodman Restaurant on Maddox Street yesterday for dinner with my wife and some friends. While enjoying our meal, an unfortunate incident occurred—a lady at the table beside us accidentally knocked over a glass of red wine from our table with her handbag, spilling it all over my wife. She offered a brief apology, but that was it, despite the obvious mess on my wife's clothes. What truly stood out was how the restaurant staff handled the situation. The team immediately stepped in to assist, helping my wife clean her sweater. The manager also came over, genuinely apologizing even though it wasn’t the restaurant’s fault. They thoughtfully offered my wife another glass of wine to replace the one that was spilled (we refused...). Later, the manager returned, again apologizing, and provided their contact information to arrange reimbursement for the cleaning costs of her clothing (we politely declined again...). On top of that, when they bring the bill, they kindly offered a discount on the £100 bottle of wine we had ordered. I was genuinely impressed—not just with the gesture of a discount, but with the level of professionalism and care shown by the staff throughout the evening. I’ve dined at Goodman several times because it’s one of London’s top destinations for a perfectly cooked steak, and this visit reaffirmed why it remains a favorite. The food, as always, was 5-star, but this time, the service truly stole the show. The staff and management went above and beyond to ensure we felt taken care of, turning what could have been a frustrating moment into an example of exceptional customer service. Highly recommend Goodman not just for their incredible steaks but for their outstanding service. Thank you for making a lasting impression once again!

We also had to sit at the bar as we didn’t make a reservation and it was full, but it was very comfortable and the staff were highly attentive , and they truly value customer service and experience all around.

Our group of five—four adults and a teen—dined at Goodman Mayfair last night to celebrate a birthday, and while the evening started with a few small hiccups, it ended on a memorable note thanks to the exceptional food and thoughtful service. We had an early dinner reservation at 6:45pm, and upon arrival, the restaurant was relatively quiet, with a handful of diners. However, by the time we left at 9:45pm, it was absolutely buzzing—a fantastic atmosphere for a celebratory evening. We were initially seated at a rectangular table, though I’d hoped for a round table (perfect for chatting and seeing everyone during a birthday celebration). Amani, the manager, explained that the round table was needed for a larger party. While this felt slightly disappointing, it turned out to be a non-issue—Amani later came to our table and graciously moved us when the other party cancelled. It was a small gesture that made a big difference to our evening. Thank you, Amani! Our server, Saffron, introduced “The Cut” – their specials board, showcasing steaks selected daily at their peak. While her explanation was a bit difficult to hear due to the background music, she was attentive and knowledgeable when we asked questions. We ordered fillet steaks for the whole table, along with a selection of sides, wine and cocktails. The food? Outstanding. The steaks were beautifully cooked (the stilton gravy deserves a special mention—it’s heavenly!), and the sides were absolutely mouth-watering. Unfortunately, one steak, ordered medium, arrived slightly undercooked and had to be sent back. While the staff handled it politely and efficiently, it did mean that one member of our group was left waiting while the rest of us tucked in. The wine service was also slightly bumpy—the first choice wasn’t available—but the alternative “orange” white wine we selected turned out to be excellent, so no complaints there. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food itself, coupled with the wonderful atmosphere as the restaurant filled up. We also loved the quirky touch of the “100 Club”—a cabinet full of knives with regular diners’ names engraved on them. Only 99 more visits to go! To top it off, the birthday celebration was rounded out with a surprise cake and candle, which the restaurant very kindly took off the bill—such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, Goodman Mayfair delivers delicious food with friendly, professional service in a warm and lively setting. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but it’s worth it for a truly special occasion. A little less pretension and a touch more attentiveness at the start would make this a perfect 10, but by the end of the night, we walked out happy, full, and lighter in the wallet—exactly what you expect from a top steakhouse experience. ;0) Highly recommended.

I've been coming here for years and it's consistently amazing with consistently great staff. I don't think I've had a single bad dish or bad experience with the team. I came this Saturday however, and somehow they surpassed my previous already great experiences. The calm of the head chef, skill and genuine enjoyment from all of the staff was amazing. Don't change a thing! I've always visited the counter - still need to make it upstairs!

Sitting at the counter was an incredible experience. I was traveling solo and only had to wait about 30 minutes at prime dinner time on a Saturday night to be seated. The food was absolutely incredible. I have been to 3 star restaurants that I’ve been less impressed with the food. Each dish was complex, creative, and flavorful and the drinks list did a great job of complimenting the food. It was so cool sitting at the counter and getting to watch the chefs in action. All around amazing (and shockingly inexpensive) experience, I will be back any time I’m in London in the future!

We recently visited Burger & Lobster for Lobster Day, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! The food was fantastic—our lobster was perfectly cooked and juicy, and the portion sizes were very reasonable. The oysters were incredibly fresh, and the croquette was out of this world—crisp on the outside and melt-in-your-mouth delicious on the inside. To top it off, our waitress Karen was exceptional. She was attentive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Her warmth and professionalism really enhanced our dining experience.

Did not reserve took the chance as a walk in , was accepted and seated. Andrea welcomed us polite friendly and was the part. He was informative regarding the menu with his charm. The food, well from beginning to end starters and main was on par! Spot on! Just as described but better! I live fine dining but there times where chilling in a place where the atmosphere the staff make it! This is the place! Highly recommend for any occasion and make sure you get a chance to say hello to Andrea you won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I stopped in for a quick lunch while visiting the area and are glad that we did. The service was really good and the food was great. We got the lobster and burger combo, the lobster croquettes, and the lobster mac and cheese and both were so good. We were seated quickly and we never wanted for anything. The waiter was amazing, I wish I could remember his name. The restaurant is cute and clean. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back when we are back in the area.

We enjoyed the food and service was great. One little comment, our chips were mostly small pieces of an inch long. If they were the end of the bag, maybe you shouldn’t have cooked and served them. Otherwise everything was fantastic.
