Peter was brilliant. He fitted a mirrored bathroom cupboard for us in a tight space and it looks great. He was easy to contact and listened to what we were looking for throughout the process. On the fitting day he and his assistant were polite, quick and tidied everything up once they were done. Would highly recommend!

ELB’s in-demand carpentry service is certainly worth the wait. We couldn’t be happier with the work they have done installing new floating shelves and a built-in laundry unit. Through each stage of the process, Peter was excellent and extremely helpful, he visited our site and perfectly understood what we were aiming for, he provided a digital design sketch for the project and made multiple revisions and suggestions until we were happy with the final design. The fit and finish was perfect, he even spray painted the cabinets in the colours we had chosen and was able to fit everything in just one day. We’re so happy with the results and will definitely be using their services again in the future.

Bespoke Fitted Wardrobes - Peter's service is very bespoke - attention to detail and problem solving - is something Peter really enjoys and was challenged by this space being uneven and shallow! I am thrilled with the results and highly recommend him. I had received quotes from the larger companies - Peter's prices are similar but the product is bespoke - I have exactly what I wanted.

Absolutely stunning work, higher than my expectations! Working with Tim and Steve on the design really helped as they ended up giving me far more of an aesthetic look to my media wall. I had quite a few intricate design ideas and they were all executed flawlessly. Not to forget, the whole team were so kind, friendly and super tidy. Just had an amazing floor-to-ceiling cupboard made by West London Carpentry and can highly recommend them for any carpentry service needed. They build made-to-measure and the process is very straight forward. They have a lot of experience and are excellent at giving advice/ideas as well as listen to any requests you have. Martin built a walk-in wardrobe for us - and WOW!! He put so much care and effort into the design and build. He kept us involved and informed every step of the way, making suggestions and recommendations that we hadn't even thought about and really guided us through the whole design process. Martin is simply the best - even our builder says so. We did our due diligence, interviewing and talking to over a dozen joiners and from the start, Martin was open, collaborative and a partner. He genuinely cares about what you as a client want, and applied his expertise to make it the best version of your vision. We had him design and build our living room and bedroom wardrobes. He is exacting in his precision, attention to detail and skill. Detail oriented feels like an understatement. The end results are incredible.

Martin did an incredible job making our dining room table out of reclaimed school benches. I fell in-love with a table in America built from old barn doors and he created a replica but better. He also threw in a bench to accompany it and managed to keep the price below the original. Amongst all of that he is a lovely block and a pleasure to work with, I couldn’t recommend him more highly!

I had been looking for a while to get some alcove cupboards and shelves made and after speaking to a few companies I decided to hire John for the work. The final product is of exceptional quality and John was able to install it all within one day. It has transformed our living room! John was great in giving advice on shelves and depth of cupboards and his communication throughout the process was excellent. I would highly recommend John. I’m hoping to get more of his work done in the future.

John worked on the eaves unit for our loft conversion area. We are very pleased with his work; it looks even better than we had imagined. He was efficient and immensely professional, always following up with any questions we had and working to schedule. His commitment to the work and his skills produced a high-quality final job that now we are very pleased to have in our loft room. John has previously made some alcove shelves for us so I knew he’d do a great job of fitted wardrobes. They were made up and colour matched off-site so the fitting took less than a day and mess free. Really happy with these beautiful period style wardrobes which have a handy pull down rail. John also did rounded corners on request which we love.

Karl and JC have done a number of substantial projects in my house. I first hired them to built alcove bookcases and cupboards in the sitting room, and alcove wardrobes and shelving in two bedrooms. They did a fantastic job, paying close attention to detail and taking great care to help me get the best design possible. They came back the following year to build storage in our converted loft bedroom and shower, which was a difficult space to work in. Their craftsmanship is outstanding, and they are extremely considerate and nice to have around. I would highly recommend them.

Karl was one of three cabinet makers that we approached with a general project outline for an eaves storage unit in our bedroom. We found his estimate to be in line with the others; what tipped the balance was his project back catalogue, and his immediate willingness to come and visit us at home to discuss our ideas. We are very happy indeed with that decision: throughout the process, Karl and his partner JC were willing to listen carefully to our ideas, and go though numerous iterations of the preparatory CAD drawings to create a unit that was practical and distinctive, and which served our particular needs. We were expecting a baby in the same period, and Karl and JC were very sympathetic to our time concerns, and made sure that the installation process was smooth, quick and clean, and built around our tight schedule. As an amateur cabinet maker myself, I checked the quality of the craftsmanship very closely: the joints, scribing of the outer frame to the wall, hanging of the drawers in the carcass, and attachment of the oak veneer (to limit the appearance of a join) were all done very crisply. In general, we have no qualms in recommending Karl and JC as high-end practitioners in birch ply furniture, and very personable craftsmen with whom to work.

Karl and JC were very easy to work with, and took great care with fitting them (there was a difficult warped ceiling to fit them around), they obviously take real pride in their work. M&S Carpentry has done an amazing job for us. From start to finish it has been a pleasure to work with them. I had a clear idea of what I wanted, which was a little unusual because I wanted to hide an en-suite behind wardrobes and have the doors open inwards. I had spoken to a number of firms who had all said they couldn't or didn't want to do it as it was out of the ordinary. M&S Carpentry were great from the start, they got what I wanted to achieve and helped make that vision a reality. They advised on finishes and approach and it was a real team effort. The job was reasonably priced and they were able to meet my quite quick timetable with ease. The job was delivered on time and on budget and the quality and attention to detail is exceptional. I could not be more happy with the end product. It is exactly as I imagined and I am thrilled with it. I would not hesitate to recommend M&S Carpentry and am already thinking about what else I can get them to build for me!

We were delighted with the fitted wardrobes that Mariusz in our bedroom. He listened to what we wanted and made some really good suggestions that greatly improved the whole look of the wardrobes. They are beautiful and every time I enter the bedroom they make me smile. We then asked Mariusz to fit units either side of our fireplace so that we had storage space but within a setting that improved the look of our living room/dinning area. Again, he came to the house, listened to all the ideas that we had and suggested some of his own, which made for beautifully designed cabinets that are a feature of our living room and are greatly admired by friends and family. We absolutely love them. My husband and I would highly recommended this company, the men were hardworking, polite and after both installations our home was left spotlessly clean.

We had beautiful fitted wardrobes installed throughout our house last year in Crouch End, which are of extremely high quality and aesthetically beautiful. Having done a lot of research in the area, I think it is well worth getting bespoke rather than your typical high street fitter. There is a lot of appeal to picking your own colours and the uniqueness of the design. We are looking forward to working with Eoin again on our kitchen this year!!

Bobby did an amazing Job spray painting our existing kitchen doors fitting new carcasses and making new matching kitchen doors where necessary and more. It’s like having a brand new kitchen for a fraction of the cost. I don’t write many reviews but he deserves a good review. He is also one of the few people that I was comfortable to leave alone in my house.

I had Bobby from London Carpentry solutions help me with a number of bespoke furniture items with the latest being a multifunction desk. Bobby was fantastic from helping me resolve a design detail but also help me rationalise the design to achieve my budget. Once the details were agreed Bobby stuck to the agreed installation date, arriving exactly on time and I never got the impression he was in a rush to be somewhere else. The quality of the work went above and beyond my hopes (hopefully my armature photographs do his work justice) and his care and consideration was second to none. For these reasons I have no hesitation providing a recommendation.

He even cleaned up afterwards with a heavy commercial vacuum cleaner that he brought. He is a real carpenter but not a marketing expert with photo editing skills. So photos are not going to do him justice until you see his works with your eyes! This is the second time we’ve used Doug’s services and had another great experience. Doug is very easy to work with, he takes time to understand your requirements and works to a very high standard, leaving the space clean and tidy each day. Nothing is too much trouble, even when I changed my mind on the colour, Doug was happy to re-paint the wardrobes to make sure we were 100% happy with the finish! I would definitely use his services again and have already recommended him to friends.

Doug built two bespoke cupboards for us, for our bedroom. I cannot speak highly enough of his work - the cupboards are perfect, beautifully finished, and done on time, on budget and with absolute clarity throughout on what we were getting. We are so happy with our build in bookcases and wardrobes. Doug did a fantastic job, they have elevated our rooms so much! He built most of them in his workshop, so was only at our house for 2 days, and was no disruption at all. Doug left the house dust free.
