Lee came to service our boiler as well as fix several toilet issues and our water pressure. Lee was able to carry out all works and fix all the issues we had. He was quick, professional, friendly and explained all the works thoroughly. I was WFH during his works being carried out and he was quiet and respectful of privacy when I had calls. I am just moving to the area so don't know any local people or companies yet. After a gas engineer from another company had to cancel on me last minute, I called WTS in a bit of a panic and they were able to send me someone that same day, and at a reasonable price. Carl was professional and polite, and he showed up exactly on time. With pandemic measures in place (mask, gloves etc.) he still managed to be friendly as well as safe! One thing I would say is that there seems to be a problem with their phone system, in that the call was never able to connect when I was ringing them (not my phone, as I tested it with other numbers and it was working fine). But WTS were quick to ring me back and that connection always worked. Thank you for helping me out at the last minute. I will absolutely be calling WTS if I need their services again!

Fitted a new boiler for me in quick time, just as a cold spell hit. The engineer was excellent and because of where the boiler was being fitted hardly seen. Separately another man turned up to brick up the hole on the outside wall, and then the day after that the old boiler was removed. Couldn't fault the job.

Fantastic and professional plumber came and resolved a number of problems for us, some we didn't even know about! He diagnosed the problem knowing the water system of a house in detail and how everything is connected, this meant he could show us how a problem in the kitchen was related to a problem in the loft! Went and got all the parts then came straight back and fixed it! Saved us a lot of stress and potential worse problems further down the line! Many thanks! Graham fitted a new boiler for us at a very reasonable cost. He did a great job and we were very happy with the work done. Graham always replied promptly to any queries, was very knowledgeable and efficient and took the trouble to explain what he was doing as he went along. The job was completed quickly and everything was left very tidy. Graham and Robert were very friendly and pleasant and we would have no hesitation recommending Livingstone Dunn to anyone.

Have just had an absolutely superb experience from Robbie and his team at Shoosmith. I had a big problem with an upstairs toilet and after a call with Robbie he was able to send over one of his engineers Andy within just a few hours to take a look at the issue and after a couple of hours was able to rectify the leak and repair it. Andy was polite and above all extremely detailed with his work. Would absolutely recommend 100%.

Nick recently fitted my new boiler, radiators, bathroom suite and also laid new solid wooden flooring. Nick is a swiss army knife - he's an excellent plumber, a master carpenter (He has a real eye for the small details) and a really nice bloke. He really knows his stuff and not only thinks about what he's doing on the job in hand but also the future consequences of any decisions that are being made. He discusses and explains options clearly to agree what needs to be done next together. What I was quoted was exactly what I paid and the work was done in the time agreed. If I was pushed to find a fault I'd say he's busy (Because he's good!) so can be hard to initially lock down for bigger jobs. Once the work is locked in tho - you'll be in very safe hands! I wouldn't hesitate recommending Nick to anyone that's looking for high quality work and fair / reasonable prices. 100% worth waiting an extra week or two.

Very detailed and thorough inspection, our inspector was very experienced and knew where to look. He found 2 leaks which we thought were a rising damp issue but turned out not to be! We were close to getting expensive damp treatments but thought we'd check if we had a leak to be sure, very glad we went with this company

Dealing with THE LEAK DETECTION COMPANY LTD was totally hassle-free, especially in the middle of a water leak crisis damaging our home. One is left with the impression of a very well run family business, with a slick business process supported by an efficient admin back office team (shout out to Claire and Samantha). The three staff members I had dealings with (Claire, Sam & Jamie) left a very positive impression and represented the company really well. Once I’d agreed to engage their services, they emailed the scope of the work and a clear breakdown of costs. There was no pressure selling and didn’t even have to make a pre-payment. On appointment day, their engineer Jamie was waiting outside my door first thing in the morning. Using specialist equipment, Jamie worked meticulously to locate and repair the leak, doing his very best to not do too much damage. He was simply brilliant, friendly and courteous, yet extremely competent. Big shout out to Jamie K (top bloke). By the end of that working day, I’d been emailed an invoice, payment receipt and a detailed professional report for insurance claim purposes. While they aren’t cheap (that field of work isn’t), they are excellent value for money, espcially in the middle of a crisis and will provide a super professional report for insurance claim purposes. I will not hesistate to use this company again if (heaven forbid) I ever suffer the misfortune of another water leak. I recommend this company wholeheartedly and with no reservations at all.

Excellent service and would highly recommend to anyone struggling with mysterious signs of damp/ leaks. Jamie was so knowledgeable, helpful and professional, and diagnosed the issue when numerous other plumbers, surveyors and builders have failed. Such a relief to finally get to the bottom of this mysterious damp patch and to be able to fix it. Jamie was also really good at explaining how the internal and external plumbing works in my house and as a result I feel much more knowledgeable about how my own home works!

After clearing my blocked drain they advised the drain pipe was cracked and need to be replaced. they returned a week later and replaced the damaged pipe. Great job , tidy , and professional. Fantastic plumber, highly recommended! Niall made the whole process very easy. I first explained the problem, Niall requested a few pictures of the hot water tank to help with the diagnosis and before he even came round had a good idea what could be the problem. Quoted me a very reasonable price if the problem turned out to be what he thought. Niall was prompt turning up and had problem fixed in 10 minutes, but then spent the next 15 minutes showing me how I can fix this problem if it happens again, checking all my radiators and my boiler. Will always use Niall from now on if I need a plumber.

Niall came highly recommended, from start to finish he was polite and professional. He kept in regular contact in regards to appointment times and even called on the day to let us know he was on his way. On the day itself Niall turned up and was able to diagnose the problem but didn't just leave, he waited to ensure everything was working correctly and explained everything to us and recommended some improvements. Nialls is no ordinary plumbing company! They come when they say that they are going to come, they explain in simple language the problem, suggest how to resolve the issue, and are patient when giving instructions. Cleaned up after themselves and didn't make a mess. We felt confident that Niall really knows what he is talking about and felt totally at ease at his diagnostic skills. We had an issue with our heating I left an email through Simon’s website He called me back the following day and after I explained the fault Simon said he could come and have a look at what we thought was an air lock Simon messaged me to say he was on his way this afternoon at 3.30 Saturday 11/1/25 On arrival he discovered the motorised valve had failed he promptly left to collect a new one and replaced it The air lock was still there unfortunately but Simon would not be beaten with dogged persistence he eventually had us all up and running after 4 hours and finished at 7.30 with still another job to do many others would have given up I can’t recommend Simon enough and would not hesitate to call on him again Five star service and on a Saturday Well done Simon great job Thank you
