My wet room flooded for an unexpected reason last Saturday and I called Pettifer Plumbing and Heating on Monday morning. The gentleman arrived at an early time and corrected the problem with my drainage pump within 10 minutes. I was extremely impressed and will definitely be using them again.

Modernisation of my Central Heating & Hot Water System. In just two days Richard and team removed my 30 year old Baxi Boiler from a downstairs chimney breast and installed a Worcester Bosch boiler in the upstairs airing cupboard, extending the gas pipe to this new location and connecting up to the original radiators and water pipes. The multitude of new pipework in the restricted space of the airing cupboard was very neatly done. Richard agreed to routing the flue pipe horizontally through the loft to exit through the end wall – requiring working in a rather cramped space. This avoided disturbing my aging slate roof with a roof vent. Their first job was to lay a protective film over the stair carpet, and all the waste from the works was quickly cleared away. All this achieved while working with the additional complication of “School Street” traffic restrictions morning and afternoon. Richard and his team members were very pleasant to work with and were supported by an efficient office team.

Thanks so much to Richard & his team for our recent new boiler installation. Late on Monday evening our 18 year old boiler received Last Rites. I reached out to Pettifer Plumbing to arrange a quote. They quickly provided quotes covering a variety of budget options. Richard also gave us a simple, jargon-free explanation of the benefits of each package There was no pressure from Pettifer Plumbing to make our purchase. That said within 2 hours we had agreed on a package and our brand new, fully functioning boiler was installed WITHIN 24 HOURS! The installation team were very friendly & a credit to company. Arriving promptly, beginning work immediately and being very considerate to keep any household disruption to a minimum. The team completed the install safely, quickly, professionally & left the work site as they found it. All rubbish/waste was removed once they had finished. In addition to being more economical, our new Worcester Bosch boiler has a 10 year parts/labour warranty. This means that we can now cancel our existing boiler breakdown cover which saves us a further £20 per month. We cannot recommend Pettifer Plumbing highly enough. Thank you all so much.

Pettifer Plumbing and Heating is an amazing company. They recently installed a Worcester Bosch Greenstar boiler at our property after our old boiler packed up. Their quote for the new boiler was very competitive and the installation was very quick (less than a week from the initial quote). On the date of installation, Richard and his team were so helpful and friendly and extremely efficient. They explained everything they were doing and were very clean and tidy. The boiler was also installed in one day so we were not left without hot water and heating. They also called us shortly after the installation to check that everything was working and that we were happy with the installation. Have been using this company now for a couple of years for various plumbing jobs and their work is of a very high standard and they are very honest. Cannot recommend this company highly enough!
