AMR were really quick to reply to my enquiry and managed to give me an apt time within a few days. They were polite, informative and thorough. They sorted the issue and my heating has never worked better! I was so impressed I got them back to do a second job. Both times I felt the work was very reasonably priced and carried out quickly and professionally.

Alistair installed a new boiler to replace our aging one. He responded quickly to our needs and carried out the work to the time scale and original quote. An excellent job and we a delighted with the end result. We would highly recommend AMR Plumbing.

Alastair did a first class job. Very efficient at every step, with a friendly tone throughout. We had 3 visits in total - an initial inspection with a view to servicing the boiler, but access to the internals of the boiler was a problem and couldn't be completed in the time available (ie part of the airing cupboard needed disassembling to allow removal of the front cover of the boiler). Also a part needed replacing as per the manufacturer's recommendation and had to be ordered. When access was gained on the second visit and the part replaced, he then identified a separate issue with the flue which required a third visit.

Such a brilliant company, very responsive to communications, always on time, reliable and all of the team were professional and friendly. JLM saved us when we were in a very sticky situation, they went above and beyond to get us up and running with a new boiler after ours was not working and deemed unsafe. JLM have been to my property 4 times. Twice for emergency plumbing to stop a leak from the outhouse. Twice to service the boiler. Every time arrival times and expectations were set in advance and kept to. In the two emergencies they went above and beyond to be helpful and efficient. The two boiler services (thankfully for me) went without a hitch. I have every confidence that had there been issues they’d have been fixed. After being quoted a very high price by another company and not feeling entirely happy with their attitude towards my elderly parents I contacted JLM, nothing was too much trouble, excellent advice and transparency, a clear outline of costs and honestly with the whole service. John visited my parents home took his time to explain each part of what needed doing and Rachel kept me updated via phone the whole time, I trust JLM as a family run local business who really care about their customers. Used this company because of the reviews and being local . Cold water loft tank removed and replaced. Gordon the plumber arrived more than promptly, set out everything for the job , explained everything to be done . I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Clive. He's kind, he listens, and he does a superb job.He recently modernised my mum's bathroom, listened carefully to what was needed, and worked hard to solve various plumbing issues to make what she wanted possible. He came highly recommended to us by a friend, and we were not disappointed. We asked him to knit a new shower and toilet into an existing bathroom, which he did beautifully (his tiling is second to none). It wasn't an easy job, but at all times he was cheerful and friendly, and put mum at ease. Clive engaged very quickly after I requested a quotation for the work. The price he gave me was based on a day rate plus material (replacement shower unit). He was very flexible when I had to move the start date and has remained very friendly and has communicated well over the 4 days of the work being done. The current shower unit had to be removed including some of the shower unit fascia tiles, then the new shower replumbed, impacted tiles replaced plus grouting and silicone seals. All of this has been done to a high standard and the shower is fully functional. Would recommend highly.

We needed to remove old shower cabin and install a new shower. Clive has got a great expertise regarding this matter. He did a gr8 job not only in installation and plumbing but also in tiling. His advice on selection of required components – shower, tray and screen – was extremely useful. Although, the project took about 1,5 weeks we barely had any inconvenience as everything was done with immaculate tidiness. Looking forward fo have him back to fix some issues with upstairs bathroom and other bits and bolts.

I was wanting a new shower, new toilet and radiator to help with making it easy to get in and out of my existing shower. Steve of Panacea Plumbing installed our boiler a few years ago and has serviced it yearly since. Late yesterday our Boiler started tripping the breaker at the fuse box. Steve came around after a days work to troubleshoot the fault which ended up being the central heating pump. Fortunately for us Steve had a replacement pump he could change out. We were relieved to have a working Central Heating system working again thanks to Steve. Steve is a pleasure to deal with, reliable and professional. I highly recommend him.

So grateful to Dicky at R & G plumbing, immediately got back to me when contacted, came promptly the next day as arranged and sorted my heating issue immediately. (I had previously had someone else out who had "apparently done it", but hadn't!!) Dicky went above and beyond to check the whole system including safety of a gas fire and didn't charge me for any of the additional care. Incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He has since helped with further issues, given free advice and been there at the end of the phone to advise with any plumbing/heating issues that arise. His communication and customer care is nothing short of excellent, his work is of an exceptionally high standard and also extremely good value. He goes above and beyond for his customers. I can't speak highly enough of the service from R&G Plumbing Services! Our boiler broke down early this morning, and after calling at 9:30am, Dicky was at our door within an hour and a half. In just 15 minutes, he had identified the issue and the part required, and within the hour, it was obtained and installed. Remarkably, our boiler was back up and running within just a few hours, including an annual service. If there's service better than this, I'd love to see it! We’ll now be using R&G Plumbing Services annually for our boiler maintenance. Highly recommended!

Declan was very prompt in responding to my request for help. Very tight, tricky drain that was unreachable by hand. He attended very quickly within the hour. He was very clear with pricing. Very reasonable and affordable. Loved the clear honesty that he said, "If I can't fix it I won't charge you". He was thoughtful, tidy and took the time explaining how the blockage had occurred and how to prevent it happening again. Great service by Declan. He’s been a saviour of our weekend. He came promptly and cleared the tough kitchen sink blockage with his perseverance. He made sure to not leave the job in half finished state. He worked until the blockage was completely clear and water flowing just like a new pipe. After an unsuccessful time trying to unblock a toilet myself I had no choice but to call a company out. My first thought was Dyno Rod but refused to pay their prices. I took a chance and googled Drain Ace Ltd. What a fabulous guy Declan is. He was at my flat within 45 mins. He is a true professional and a genuine guy. He cleared the blockage and I also got him back another time to Jet blast some other drains where there was limescale and tree roots. I wouldn’t hesitate for one minute to recommend this guy.
