Mark has been doing my boiler servicing for years but having just moved to a new house I asked him to do some work in the new property. He and Darren swapped out my boiler, tank, radiators and pipe work and did an excellent job. He explained everything to me so I could understand it (I know nothing of this sort of work) and provided a professional service and despite lifting floorboards and the like kept things very clean and tidy. He was very well priced as well given that British Gas was charging almost a 3rd extra on top to do the same job. I feel very comfortable recommending him for any of this work. We needed 3 old radiators replacing in the bedrooms. One of these required floor boards to be lifted and re-working of the pipe work as it was a smaller more efficient radiator. Mark and Darren did this work so well, explaining everything before and during the work. They are friendly, professional and tidy, leaving no mess at all. Last week our 20 + year old boiler showed signs of finally giving up the ghost. My husband contacted Mark and within 24 hours he had visited to assess the work and within 6 days we had a new efficient condenser boiler. Mark and Darren were brilliant. Polite, tidy and competent. Steve’s been our plumber for about 12 years now and is always great at reaching out when we need our boiler serviced. Whilst he was here I noticed that one of our radiators was hanging off the wall on one side. He was happy to fix this whilst he as over. He’s a neat and tidy worker and always a pleasure to have working in the house.

Chris is a very friendly, professional and knowledgable person about heaters and boilers. My flat didn't have hot water from my HIU. I've had a plumber come round before that wanted 3 parts replaced and quoted £1,400 for the job! I wanted a second opinion and Chris was able to get hot water running again within 5-10mins! He also gave me plenty of advise and explained about what the issue was and how to prevent it going forwards. If you're looking for a reliable and honest plumber, definitely go with them.

We got Chris to fix and replace a leaking lead mains pipe and to fix a boiler that was installed incorrectly. Chris is very knowledgeable of all areas of plumbing and reasonably priced. Chris has been servicing my boiler for over four years now. He has also undertaken several plumbing jobs, most recently a leaky washing machine valve, when I had to allow Chris access when I wasn't present. Chris is always right on time for all bookings and is always very courteous. His prices are very reasonable and in my opinion he is very trustworthy. We had a leak from the old mains water pipe running under the property. Chris talked us through the most efficient solution and replaced the pipe in a day. Very efficiently and professionally done. No issues since. Highly recommend CS Gas.

He was very professional yet friendly and explained things in a way that we for the first time understood the entire heating system and the various faults with ours.
