I never do reviews, however, in the case of Keith of FDH, I’ve just got to make an exception following our recent central heating system failure and Keith’s fault-finding and efficient repair. I have employed Keith and FDH for the last 9 to 10 years. Keith is very professional, technically competent and meticulous in all aspects of the work. Nothing is too much trouble for Keith he is reliable and his communication skills are excellent. I wouldn’t use anyone else for both preventative and corrective maintenance on my CH system. I have used Keith at Fareham Domestic Heating for a number of years now and his work is very high quality at a fair price. From Boiler serving to fault finding and repairs I have always found his professional manner very reassuring and he keeps me well informed of progress and cost. He is alway punctual and utterly reliable. I very strongly recommend Keith at FDH to anyone needing a good heating and plumbing expert who gets the job done.

Keith replaced the boiler, undertook radiator flush removed each one to ensure there was the best flush possible, inserted thermostatic vales and a new hot water tank. He worked around us was punctual, tidy and efficient. He explained every step in detail. Good value for money I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Keith did a fantastic job for us fitting some TRVs and performing a powerflush, which he recommended after diagnosing a poorly flowing heating system. This has resolved all of the problems we had with our radiators so it was money very well spent. Keith is extremely professional, communicates really well and is easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Angel is fantastic and I highly recommend him. He will see you as soon as he is able, and is very positive in finding out what the problem is and how best to fix it. I have used him twice for emergencies and both times he has been prompt and helpful. Both times he had the issues fixed same day and the problem has not recurred. He is friendly and will explain exactly what the situation is and what he is doing. Very fair pricing too. He's my go-to guy now.

Angel responded to a check a trade request. His partner got in contact and explained everything and made sure it was a time that suited us. Angel fitted new pipe work, water and waste pipe for a washing machine. Angel was very friendly and explained what he was doing and the options I had. Would highly recommend his services and would use him again for any future plumbing needs.

Adam visited my home to give me some very useful advice after a plumbing emergency. Joe and Adam later completed several bits of work, advising me of the best options. The work was completed to a high standard and I'd have no hesitation in using them again. Bev as well was very helpful throughout.

Adam & Joe suggested an alternative cheaper option of a purpose built dog shower rather than the shower enclosure we had asked for & they were spot on. No more carrying a muddy cocker up the stairs to have the bathroom walls spattered. Job left clean & tidy and is used most days. Would highly recommend Platinum for your plumbing needs.

We had boiler issues over Christmas and despite their family being on a Christmas break, they went out of their way to come and fit a new boiler for us. They offered options, helping us pick a good deal to suit our budget. Gas Boiler failed just before Christmas, EPH were recommended to us by a friend of my daughters. To say they were amazing is an understatement, Paul and Sam replied to our email and text message very promptly and arranged a visit at the busiest time of year. Paul diagnosed the boiler fault within five minutes of arriving, ordered the required part immediately and returned to fit it as soon as parts arrived at the suppliers, two days later. We are so grateful as it was bitter cold and the house had no heating or hot water, everything now working perfectly. Thank you Paul and Sam for the most professional and responsive service, you are stars.

The engineers from Portsdean worked with me over the summer in 2024. I purchased an apartment in the Portsmouth area where i discovered numerous leaks and problems. The engineers from Portsdean, Mark, Kieron and Riley all worked extremely hard to fix leaks and re route plumbing. They also sorted out my central heating system and made it functional again. An excellent company headed up by Ian, the owner, who goes out of his way to ensure the customer receives a first class service.

This is the third time I've used SC Plumbing and they delivered excellent work once again. I had a kitchen stripped out and replaced. They oversaw the whole project, advised as necessary, cleared and prepared the room removing unwanted items, then fitted a new kitchen from a design I'd agreed with Howdens. Throughout the job, whenever little unforeseen issues cropped up, Phil and the team were quick to respond and deal with it all, keeping calm and professional throughout. I felt in safe hands and they got through the work quickly, cleaning up after themselves as they went along. Exceptional company who originally fitted out the bathroom 10 years ago so were invited back. From initial planning to completion of the work, every aspect was done to an incredibly high standard. Both fitters, Phil and Nathan, were friendly, tidy and were very receptive to ideas on the go. Each day, at the end of the work, they tidied up and nothing needed doing. We are so pleased that they have been invited to quote for further work. Laura in the office, who was the link between us and the fitters, was again exceptionally friendly and helpful.
