I used quick drains for my blocked grids,so professional and they turned up when they said they would, the job was done in no time, couldn’t fault them at all, And left the job nice and clean.

Have to say these guys are superb, rang on Sunday as bit of an emergency, said you can have someone the same day but its a bit more so if you can wait to Monday will save me some cash....love the honesty. The guys that turned up professional just got on with the job absolutely no hassle - good company and a good team!

Following a recommendation from another heating engineer I had a new Baxi Combi Boiler fitted by Tony in February 2017. The whole process from quote to fitting was accompanied by some of the best customer communication I have received from any company. Tony called or texted me at each point in the process and I felt fully informed and in control at all times. If you have experience of dealing with plumbers you will know that they can be unreliable and uncommunicative Tony was the opposite, he arrived as promised, calling me the day before the fitting to confirm & then on the day to give me an ETA. Subsequent to the fitting of the boiler & a replacement thermostatic radiator valve a small leak appeared on the valve connection, Tony arranged to return & corrected the problem again phoning me at each point in the process to keep me up to date. The result was a stress free process and I would like to thank Tony & AB plumbing for the professionalism of the service. I would recommend Tony Mr R Gwilliam

Matthew is highly skilled, professional, and goes out of his way to help. Matthew replaced our boiler in November, after it completely broke down on us! He worked quickly, efficiently and tidily, which is really important as we work from home. An excellent job. He also popped back to replace the kitchen tap at short notice, just before Christmas. We’ll definitely be calling on Matthew again.

We've just had a new Ideal Max Vogue fitted by Matt and improved pipe work from the meter. As others have said Matt visited promptly when we inquired about probably needing a new boiler and took his time to assess properly if a new boiler was needed, no hard sell at all. Quote very competitive. Matt clearly takes careful pride in his work - pipe work soo much better than what was done previously. Would recommend.

Matthew responded promptly when I requested a quotation to replace an old combi boiler and replace some inadequate pipework. He visited the property soon afterwards and spent more than an hour surveying the situation, listening to my concerns about the existing heating and plumbing and advising regards my requirements. There was no rush, no hard sell, just clear information, professional advice and choices to consider. He gave a clear indication of the lead-in time and the expected timespan for the work. When asked he had no hesitation in telling me his current charge for annual boiler service. Prior to his visit I had surveys and quotations from other installers. In fact some of them never even quoted, presumably because of the complexity of the work. I had no doubt after his visit that Matthew was my preferred installer even before his quotation arrived. I was pleased when his quotation was the most competitive. Follow-on communications by phone, text and emails were timely and reassuring. The new boiler is the Ideal Vogue Max 26kW with the added option of an integrated Ideal Halo interface with a Smart room Thermostat giving Wi-Fi and remote control as well as manual control. The boiler has a 12 year warranty. It is very quiet and efficient for central heating and hot water. The work was carried out in a professional and courteous manner. Thorough testing revealed a leaking isolating gas valve for the hob. Matthew replaced this immediately with a new valve from the van and he also replaced a seal on a radiator. Matthew is not rushed and takes pride in his workmanship. I am very pleased with his work and happy to recommend him.

MCR Gas were very helpful in the lead up to our boiler replacement. The customer service was excellent and quick. The engineers who came to fit the boiler were great and stayed till the job was done. It’s little things aswell like taking their shoes off when going upstairs which was greatly appreciated. I would recommend MCR gas to anyone 10/10

We really wanted a local company so we got better customer service and definitely weren't disappointed. The lads came to swap our old boiler for a new combi boiler, they were all friendly, really professional and did a fantastic job. New boiler looks great and we have decent heating and water pressure for the first time since we moved in 4 years ago. Hive was fully explained and they even helped us to get a radiator up and working again. Definitely recommend and will definitely be using again. Thanks guys

Superb job. Marley did a great job and was patient with my questions etc. Had issue with boiler, MCR Gas came out, said it was unsafe and returned the following week to fit new boiler. Full day job from Marley who was superb all day. Great lad, pleasant and hard working. Was back by 9am the morning after to finish off some pipe work and help with a thermostat issue. Very efficient and punctual

First class job from Mike and his team, I would not hesitate to recommend them. We were looking to change a 25 year old boiler to a more efficient model. I had quotes from a few companies and whilst Mike's was competitive, price alone was not the reason for choosing him to complete the work. Mike initially came out and talked me through the various options in detail, his knowledge of the latest models on the market was obvious, as was the professional way he came across - unlike one of the other companies I got to quote. Mike is involved in the installation personally, his hands on approach gives you confidence in the answers to any questions you raise - rather than sending a 'salesman' who are unable to answer all your queries truthfully. On installation day, Mike and his team of 3 others arrived nice and early. There was a fair amount of work involved, altering pipework, removing hot water cylinder, loft tanks etc. The 4 of them worked tirelessly all day (fuelled by many cups of tea / coffee!). One thing that stood out for me during the installation was the time he took to make sure the younger members of his team fully understood, asking their opinions, all part of an experienced guy wanting to pass that knowledge on.

Mike and his team did a great job fitting a brand new boiler in our house. Communication was great and the team were all super professional. I could tell he was very experienced by the direction and information he was giving to his team. Mike made sure all the TRVs were in the best location, the wooden box panels surrounding the boiler were cut in the most aesthetic way, and ensured that I had full understanding of the controls and boiler app before they left. Very efficient, quality workmanship and £700 cheaper than those clowns at British Gas. I would definitely recommend, and shall certainly be contacting them for any future plumbing issues.

5/5 Experience. Mike and his team provide a reliable, thorough and fair service. Communication throughout the whole process is always clear and consice; from providing an accurate arrival time, to answering questions whilst on site, and clearly detailing what work is being carried out. Workspace is always left clean and tidy and a post work summary provided. It's really refreshing to deal with genuinely good trade people like Mike and his team!

I had an issue with my boiler not igniting. I phoned this company. He talked me through the fault and he established the problem. All sorted within a few minutes. He could have come out and charged me for his time but he didn't. Very professional and very honest. I would have no hesitation on using their services again.

Fast response when a water pipe burst

I had a burst pipe in the middle of the night and this emergency plumber came to my rescue. They were quick to respond and fixed the problem right away. Highly recommend.

After finding an overnight leak from our hot water tank we did need help pretty quickly I rang M&R Plumbing & Heating Ltd and they said they had someone in the area and would get him to call. Michael duly arrived, he managed to drain the system for us and was able to leave with our water supply and central heating working while a new tank was ordered. This was fitted by Jake and his assistant who did a really professional and thorough job leaving everything neat and tidy. We also found the office staff were very friendly and helpful. We can't recommend this company enough and would certainly use them for any other jobs.

I have been consistently very happy working with this excellent firm over many years but particularly pleased with Jack Fox today. He had never installed an Inspire Automation Landlord Wireless App Thermostat before and clearly used his expertise with similar systems, many more complicated than Inspire, to efficiently install and commission the product with just one hours Labour time. I can now control my heating and hot water usage from anywhere in the world for my short term guest bookings with a simple boost button for them to use for comfort if still in the property during working hours / weekends!
