Chose this guy after reading the reviews and so glad I did. Excellent service from a very knowledgeable engineer. Called Dominic to see if he could look at our boiler as we have been having problems for a while now. Was thinking maybe a new boiler. Dominic came out later that evening and had a look. Told us what was wrong and actually had the part we needed. He ended up doing the repair and serviced the boiler whilst he was here. Saved us a fortune too. Will definitely use him again.

Dom is very knowledgeable and passionate about his job. Polite, down to earth and friendly. He has installed a new tap, fixed our under sink plumbing, serviced our boiler every year, fixed our outside tap and fitted a hive thermostat. I recommend him to everyone. Fantastic service! Could not recommend highly enough. We asked Dominic if he could service our boiler and replace our shower. Dominic was able to fit us in and gave us a really fair and competitive estimate for the job. Dominic was fantastic, informing us about the changes and work he had carried out and how to operate the settings of the boiler and shower. At no point did the work seem rushed and unlike British Gas, he didn't try to sell us a new boiler. Above all else Dominic is a thoroughly decent bloke who you can trust to give you a fair price and quality workmanship.

Excellent service from Mike and his team. Quality work easily arranged from having a new boiler fitted to getting an annual service arranged and completed. Mike will always tell you how it is and run through all the options, not just try and flog you the work that costs the most. A highly reputable company who you can trust to look out for the customers interests. Annual reminders for boiler service as well which are very useful so it’s one less thing to keep track of!!!

Mike and his team did a great job fitting a brand new boiler in our house. Communication was great and the team were all super professional. I could tell he was very experienced by the direction and information he was giving to his team. Mike made sure all the TRVs were in the best location, the wooden box panels surrounding the boiler were cut in the most aesthetic way, and ensured that I had full understanding of the controls and boiler app before they left. Very efficient, quality workmanship and £700 cheaper than those clowns at British Gas. I would definitely recommend, and shall certainly be contacting them for any future plumbing issues.

First class job from Mike and his team, I would not hesitate to recommend them. We were looking to change a 25 year old boiler to a more efficient model. I had quotes from a few companies and whilst Mike's was competitive, price alone was not the reason for choosing him to complete the work. Mike initially came out and talked me through the various options in detail, his knowledge of the latest models on the market was obvious, as was the professional way he came across - unlike one of the other companies I got to quote. Mike is involved in the installation personally, his hands on approach gives you confidence in the answers to any questions you raise - rather than sending a 'salesman' who are unable to answer all your queries truthfully. On installation day, Mike and his team of 3 others arrived nice and early. There was a fair amount of work involved, altering pipework, removing hot water cylinder, loft tanks etc. The 4 of them worked tirelessly all day (fuelled by many cups of tea / coffee!). One thing that stood out for me during the installation was the time he took to make sure the younger members of his team fully understood, asking their opinions, all part of an experienced guy wanting to pass that knowledge on.

I had an issue with my boiler not igniting. I phoned this company. He talked me through the fault and he established the problem. All sorted within a few minutes. He could have come out and charged me for his time but he didn't. Very professional and very honest. I would have no hesitation on using their services again.

Had broken gas boiler, soon as wigan heating & plumbing Ltd contacted me,regarding coming out to me ( it was a Saturday too). Tyler and Lewis have done an excellent job on installing our downstairs bathroom and radiators. They corrected some previous work done by lesser plumbers. They were helpful with advice and they were tidy, and punctual when working. The quote was reasonable also. We now have a go to plumber for anywork that we need in the future. Proper tradesmen!

This company was recommended by a friend. Absolutely first class. The job was as quoted even though it took longer. Lewis was professional, polite and definitely knew his trade. The issues with our central heating have now been fixed. Highly recommend Ashton Drain Services! We had a broken pipe that Dan was able to fix for us quickly and efficiently this weekend. He has done an excellent job and on top of that, Dan was friendly, professional and explained everything to us sp that we understood what was going on with our pipes/drains. First time I've used this company and I was very impressed. Told Craig my issue with the boiler and he was round within a few hours, he identified the issues immediately and explained clearly what needed to be done. A small part had to be ordered, after keeping in touch he returned the next day to complete the job to a high standard and a very reasonable price. I will only be recommending Craig to others going forward.

Mike’s team replaced our boiler in a new location. The team were courteous, efficient, informative and did a great job, despite a number of problems that were encountered due to issues with the standard of the previous boiler and pipe work installation. I’d highly recommend this company.

Contacted Mike as I needed an old and non functioning boiler and cistern taking out and a new combi boiler installed. He arrived the next day to assess the job and talked me through the whole process of removing and installing a new system. I found him to be a very polite, professional and knowledgeable young man. He contacted me after the weekend with a price which I was happy with and then arranged a date for the work to be done. The lads who came to do the install were friendly and very professional. They kept me informed throughout the whole process as to what they were doing and when the work was finished they cleaned up and left it very tidy. The work was done in less than eight hours and the whole process had taken 8 days from initial enquiry to completion. I cannot recommend Mike and his team highly enough and will definitely use their services again. Thanks for a great job guys.

I contacted Mike yesterday as it was almost as if our boiler packed up altogether. I sent over some pictures or what was going on. He came out first thing this morning had a look and knew exactly what was wrong. He is very knowledgeable and polite very easy to talk to! We're just waiting for our new boiler! Great service. Called Sunday with a request to remove and fit a new boiler as the old one had failed. Jack sourced one within the price range and attended Tuesday to fit. It was a long job due to having to navigate through walls of an old building but Jack and his colleague stayed for over 12 hours to get the boiler fitted. The work is really high quality and very neatly installed. They were also very professional and tidy leaving no mess. Highly recommend.
