Yet another great job by Quarrybank. I've used them numerous times from boiler and plumbing emergencies to a whole bathroom refit. The service is always prompt, polite, knowledgeable and tidy. Big thanks to Lee who had a very tricky job sorting out a bypass pipe for us yesterday

Fantastic work as usual. I’ve had a new 6’ cast iron radiator put in today. Matt recommended one that would look good and easily heat the room. Lovely job! He knew it would look great even when I wasn’t sure; but I trusted him implicitly. He really knows his trade, works hard and is polite and friendly. Rob at Peak Plumbing went out of his way to help us over the phone first thing this morning when we had a plumbing emergency and then came to our house only an hour later. He checked the situation, gave us great advice then came back again later on with all the tools he needed to get the job done. He made sure he stayed until he fixed the pipe and even cleaned up as well. Professional, helpful, and a thoroughly nice bloke. Cannot recommend them higher!

Bob, or Saint Bob, as we call him is just the best. Honest, hardworking and reliable. He fixed issues that hadn't been identified by Homeserve, despite them attending the property multiple times.

LW Plumbing quoted for and undertook a complete renewal of our central heating and hot water system. It was a much larger job than had been indicated by other suppliers we contacted but, as they only quoted after a phone conversation we decided to proceed with a local company. The work was started promptly, every member of the large team was knowledgable, professional and friendly and worked hard. In the interests of a balanced review I would I highlight three issues: (i) Lee failed to note that one of our showers had to be replaced in order to work with the new system. The cost of the replacement was however discounted. (ii) Holes made in the plaster ceiling of a cupboard through which pipework was routed were not made good and the plaster not tidied up from the cupboard. (iii) Air continues to collect in the 'sealed' system and the pressure needs to be topped up. A follow up visit to look at this failed to resolve the issue. Hopefully it will be reviewed again and resolved during the annual maintenance visit. With the exception of the above we were generally very happy with the work and the new system is a marked improvement on what we had. It's nice to be able to use a local company and we would certainly recommend them.

Lee and his team were informative and offered great solutions for our house. The project was completed in a timely and efficient way. We appreciated the clean and polite way they did the work in our house. Very fast to come and sort a minor issue about a week after install. I'd definitely recommend the team.

This guy is a legend! Just had a new Baxi combi boiler fitted by Mark & to say I’m happy is an understatement ! Took a chance going off google reviews . At every stage I have been impressed …. Initial contact , arrived promptly ( early ) to quote , fantastic communication , flexible on finding a fitting date & arrived on that date ..work carried out clean & neat , covering my stair carpet with no prompting & protecting my bathroom sink . The boiler space is quite a challenge in a tight fitting cupboard but Mark managed this and cleanly did the outside brick work too . All was cleaned up well . He explained the working of the boiler & warranty etc . A very competing price & I would not hesitate to use Mark’s reliable service again . Beyond the call of duty , he also picked up my second hand purchase of a patio table which I couldn’t fit in my car , and placed it in my garden for me . A thoroughly lovely human being .

He will go the more difficult route for him to get the best result for the customer. He is very approachable and friendly. We called John as an emergency and he said he’d phone 10 minutes before he could arrive and he did. It’s the small things that make all the difference. The boiler was intermittent but didn’t know exactly what was wrong, John solved the issue and persevered on a Friday afternoon and early evening, to ensure we weren’t without heating. He is a great guy, explained everything to me and options. Explained the pricing and I was able to do an instant bank transfer. We’ll be booking in for our annual service , we we’re really impressed and happy with the experience

John turned up on time & did a quick repair of the leaking old ball cock on a water header tank in our loft. He was professional & gave us useful advice to avoid similar issues during future freezing temperatures.

I called John to help with a leaking toilet. He called to let me know when he was on his way. The job was done quickly and John clearly explained what the problem was. I asked his advice about another non urgent job and he took a look at it and told me what to do before getting the issue fixed. I will definitely get John back to fix this problem and any others that may arise. He is helpful and polite.

These guys were great. Needed a new boiler urgently as the old one had completely blown and we have young kids in the house. They came out really quickly and bent over backwards and staying late to get a new one installed and working the next day. We needed a new gas hub to be fitted on the same day. A trusted builder recommended Rapid heating. To our delight, they sent the gas safe engineers later in the afternoon on the same day. The hob was fitted to a high standard, tested and they even cleaned up afterwards. I can highly recommend this organisation.

Came out to have a look at my leaking boiler within 24 hours of first contact, and when it was deemed my old boiler was past the point of saving (though they did try), I was able to have a new boiler fitted within a couple of days.
