Pete's done a boiler service, small pipe shut-off and then a full bathroom refurb for us (back to brick). Everyone involved was friendly, professional, tidy and gave great advice at every step of the way. V highly recommended.

Installed boiler and pipes very neatly, all soldered joints, no push fit. left the work area very clean and tidy after the install, n removed all debris.

Pete is a great plumber / gas fitter. Fair prices and good quality workmanship. Takes alot to say this but I'm happy leaving him to work in my house whilst I'm at work!

Had an emergency recently where our radiator came away from the wall - Pete was brilliant, he came within a few hours, sorted it out, gave great advice and didn’t over charge us. He also let my 4 year old ask him what he was doing at every step of the way with a smile on his face. Highly recommend!

I have been using James for nearly 4 to 5 years to repair a leaking toilet cistern and another time in 2023 to replace a dripping kitchen tap. Once I asked him if he could dispose my dishwasher and moved the tumble dryer to that vacant space. He didn't mind doing that small jobs and was very helpful. Today he came to replace a dripping kitchen tap of my other property. I have recommended him to my neighbour and family member. The price he charged was very good and affordable. Every time he responded very quickly to fix the problems. James always let me know the fee of the work before coming and what was included and other options for me to choose. He is very polite, and punctual and I am very satisfied with his services.

Had a leak under the bath, the office team at Lacey's were very helpful, they had no one available in the morning but called me back the same day when an engineer was available. The engineer was friendly and helpful, investigated the leak thoroughly and gave me some options for a fix, got a new part and fitted it quickly. Problem solved. It can be so hard to find reliable, quality people to work on your home. I'd definitely use Lacey's again.

Paul fitted our new boiler recently and was absolutely excellent. Great communication throughout. Very neat install, quick as well so caused minimal disruption in a busy house. Left a tidy site after and disposed of all waste. Shown us through the new boiler and heating control settings before leaving and arranged warranty/gas safe certificate/building control for us. Will always use Royal for plumbing needs now, including regular boiler services going forward to keep the warranty valid on our brand new boiler.

We had already agreed a price for a new boiler replacement by telephone but on inspecting the offending leaking boiler on the morning after my initial call Paul declared that the fault could be repaired for a fraction of the cost. I would not hesitate to recommend South Manchester Heating to anybody looking for a new stove. Paul and Ian were professional and easy to deal with at all times and provided a great service. The lead in time was realistic and they were swift in planning, clear in all communications and very amenable when I had questions and queries about how to best operate the stove. They were also able to recommend an appropriate finance arrangement for me. I am very happy with the result and I am looking forward to many warm evenings around the stove in the future! The Stove is a 4.5kW Mendip Woodland with Logstore.

I phoned SMH (Chorlton) Ltd after three boiler breakdowns in just under two weeks and our past Gas Safe Engineer being unavailable. Whilst they couldn't help with the repair they provided me some solid advice over the phone regarding the manufacturer - which turned out to be exactly what we needed. They didn't try to upsell me a new boiler (which I was beginning to believe I needed after countless google searches, bad advice elsewhere and a number of days with no heating or hot water). They offered me simple, honest, good advice and I am so grateful as we now have a working boiler without a huge bill. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys. They will be my first port of call when we do need to replace the boiler. Thank you so much.

Adam from South Manchester Heating did a superb job for us last week. This involved diagnosing and fixing the problem with our central heating. Adam called Worcester Bosch for us to explain the problem for them to come and check out the boiler (the next day!). Adam the replaced the pump and isolation valves (without draining the system!) and is also helping us sort out problems with our kitchen underfloor heating which has never worked properly. I have tried many other companies but trust the knowledgeable and experienced team at SMH to understand and sort the problems out. Highly recommended. Great job, thanks very much!

We needed some new radiators fitted, with some corrective pipework on a challenging system. Andy undertook the work and identified a new problem with a feeder tank which involved some additional work. Very pleased with the work carried out at a very reasonable price. Excellent communication throughout, very tidy . I can thoroughly recommend Andy.

Andy was awesome, super friendly, explained all the issues to me and gave me an affordable quote! Andy replaced my stop tap and a leaky tap within a couple of hours, and reassembled all the carpentry housing the stop tap. Would greatly recommend!

Andy has been today to fit a new stop tap and relocate it because the very old one was in an awkward place and had siezed. He had to pull the carpet back so he could reach under the floorboards. Andy is reliable, friendly, trustworthy & a very good plumber. He left my room as though he hadn't been there, he put the carpet back and the furniture and even plastered up the hole around the old tap. He always arrives when he says he will and he doesn't rip you off. I'd recommend him to everyone.

Communication throughout the whole process is always clear and consice; from providing an accurate arrival time, to answering questions whilst on site, and clearly detailing what work is being carried out. Workspace is always left clean and tidy and a post work summary provided. It's really refreshing to deal with genuinely good trade people like Mike and his team!

Mike and his team did a great job fitting a brand new boiler in our house. Communication was great and the team were all super professional. I could tell he was very experienced by the direction and information he was giving to his team. Mike made sure all the TRVs were in the best location, the wooden box panels surrounding the boiler were cut in the most aesthetic way, and ensured that I had full understanding of the controls and boiler app before they left. Very efficient, quality workmanship and £700 cheaper than those clowns at British Gas. I would definitely recommend, and shall certainly be contacting them for any future plumbing issues.

First class job from Mike and his team, I would not hesitate to recommend them. We were looking to change a 25 year old boiler to a more efficient model. I had quotes from a few companies and whilst Mike's was competitive, price alone was not the reason for choosing him to complete the work. Mike initially came out and talked me through the various options in detail, his knowledge of the latest models on the market was obvious, as was the professional way he came across - unlike one of the other companies I got to quote. Mike is involved in the installation personally, his hands on approach gives you confidence in the answers to any questions you raise - rather than sending a 'salesman' who are unable to answer all your queries truthfully. On installation day, Mike and his team of 3 others arrived nice and early. There was a fair amount of work involved, altering pipework, removing hot water cylinder, loft tanks etc. The 4 of them worked tirelessly all day (fuelled by many cups of tea / coffee!). One thing that stood out for me during the installation was the time he took to make sure the younger members of his team fully understood, asking their opinions, all part of an experienced guy wanting to pass that knowledge on.

I had an issue with my boiler not igniting. I phoned this company. He talked me through the fault and he established the problem. All sorted within a few minutes. He could have come out and charged me for his time but he didn't. Very professional and very honest. I would have no hesitation on using their services again.

Great open space for families to enjoy, well maintained , lots of happy memories from playing there as a child 40 years ago.Happy days

This is a really Nice park with loads of fields to walk your dog, play football, it even has a skateboard / BMX Ramp It's only small but I'm sure you could have a lot of fun using it. This park has a kids playground with the usual swings, slide, climbing frame with net etc. This keeps the kids happy for hours. There is two small ponds which are well looked after and the ponds have some decent size fish Not to be Caught or Harassed. The park also has flower gardens dotted around with some nice flowers (take a look at my photographs) The park also has Crown Green Bowls with a really nice lawn, Tennis Court and BasketBall Hoops/Rings. Davyhulme Park is a Great park. It is well looked after So visitors should do the same...
