These guys were recommended to me and I can see why. They helped me through the whole process and helped me choose the right package for me and my home.I had a few quotes for boilers and Laceys were the cheapest by a few hundred and the customer service just made it clear that they had to fit my boiler. Had a leak under the bath, the office team at Lacey's were very helpful, they had no one available in the morning but called me back the same day when an engineer was available. The engineer was friendly and helpful, investigated the leak thoroughly and gave me some options for a fix, got a new part and fitted it quickly. Problem solved. It can be so hard to find reliable, quality people to work on your home. I'd definitely use Lacey's again.

I phoned SMH (Chorlton) Ltd after three boiler breakdowns in just under two weeks and our past Gas Safe Engineer being unavailable. Whilst they couldn't help with the repair they provided me some solid advice over the phone regarding the manufacturer - which turned out to be exactly what we needed. They didn't try to upsell me a new boiler (which I was beginning to believe I needed after countless google searches, bad advice elsewhere and a number of days with no heating or hot water). They offered me simple, honest, good advice and I am so grateful as we now have a working boiler without a huge bill. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys. They will be my first port of call when we do need to replace the boiler. Thank you so much.

I would not hesitate to recommend South Manchester Heating to anybody looking for a new stove. Paul and Ian were professional and easy to deal with at all times and provided a great service. The lead in time was realistic and they were swift in planning, clear in all communications and very amenable when I had questions and queries about how to best operate the stove. They were also able to recommend an appropriate finance arrangement for me. I am very happy with the result and I am looking forward to many warm evenings around the stove in the future! The Stove is a 4.5kW Mendip Woodland with Logstore.

South Manchester Heating installed a new boiler at my property. Ian and his team were professional from start to finish. Ian ensured the process was smooth, making it a stress-free experience. The team who installed the boiler were efficient, polite and considerate. They took care to keep my property clean when finishing and answered any questions I had on the new system. Adam from South Manchester Heating did a superb job for us last week. This involved diagnosing and fixing the problem with our central heating. Adam called Worcester Bosch for us to explain the problem for them to come and check out the boiler (the next day!). Adam the replaced the pump and isolation valves (without draining the system!) and is also helping us sort out problems with our kitchen underfloor heating which has never worked properly. I have tried many other companies but trust the knowledgeable and experienced team at SMH to understand and sort the problems out. Highly recommended. Great job, thanks very much!

I have been using James for nearly 4 to 5 years to repair a leaking toilet cistern and another time in 2023 to replace a dripping kitchen tap. Once I asked him if he could dispose my dishwasher and moved the tumble dryer to that vacant space. He didn't mind doing that small jobs and was very helpful. Today he came to replace a dripping kitchen tap of my other property. I have recommended him to my neighbour and family member. The price he charged was very good and affordable. Every time he responded very quickly to fix the problems. James always let me know the fee of the work before coming and what was included and other options for me to choose. He is very polite, and punctual and I am very satisfied with his services.

Mike and his team did a great job fitting a brand new boiler in our house. Communication was great and the team were all super professional. I could tell he was very experienced by the direction and information he was giving to his team. Mike made sure all the TRVs were in the best location, the wooden box panels surrounding the boiler were cut in the most aesthetic way, and ensured that I had full understanding of the controls and boiler app before they left. Very efficient, quality workmanship and £700 cheaper than those clowns at British Gas. I would definitely recommend, and shall certainly be contacting them for any future plumbing issues.

Excellent service from Mike and his team. Quality work easily arranged from having a new boiler fitted to getting an annual service arranged and completed. Mike will always tell you how it is and run through all the options, not just try and flog you the work that costs the most. A highly reputable company who you can trust to look out for the customers interests. Annual reminders for boiler service as well which are very useful so it’s one less thing to keep track of!!!

Communication throughout the whole process is always clear and consice; from providing an accurate arrival time, to answering questions whilst on site, and clearly detailing what work is being carried out. Workspace is always left clean and tidy and a post work summary provided. It's really refreshing to deal with genuinely good trade people like Mike and his team!

First class job from Mike and his team, I would not hesitate to recommend them. We were looking to change a 25 year old boiler to a more efficient model. I had quotes from a few companies and whilst Mike's was competitive, price alone was not the reason for choosing him to complete the work. Mike initially came out and talked me through the various options in detail, his knowledge of the latest models on the market was obvious, as was the professional way he came across - unlike one of the other companies I got to quote. Mike is involved in the installation personally, his hands on approach gives you confidence in the answers to any questions you raise - rather than sending a 'salesman' who are unable to answer all your queries truthfully. On installation day, Mike and his team of 3 others arrived nice and early. There was a fair amount of work involved, altering pipework, removing hot water cylinder, loft tanks etc. The 4 of them worked tirelessly all day (fuelled by many cups of tea / coffee!). One thing that stood out for me during the installation was the time he took to make sure the younger members of his team fully understood, asking their opinions, all part of an experienced guy wanting to pass that knowledge on.

Excellent job of repairing our gas leak. The moment he knew my elderly mother had no heating he rapidly scheduled a visit and came the morning after. Huge recommendation.

We had Adam some time ago to fit a radiator in our conservatory. Did a good job at a reasonable price and cleaned up when finished. Called him out this week to fix a leak from our boiler. Came when he said he would, fixed leak and then got out Hive thermostat working again. I would always contact Adam for plumbing work as I trust him to do a proper job and he's a decent bloke.

Really pleased with how professional Adam was. Managed to get us booked in urgently when our old boiler packed in on us with a thorough yet efficient fitting, even fixing our faulty bath taps too. Can't recommend enough.

Excellent from start to finish, job ran smoothly.The lads , Danny and John were polite , friendly and courteous. The bath and shower top class work, and new taps for Belfast sink are perfect tradional sturdy and swish. The leak detection took less than 5mins and fixed next day. Sam in the office kept me informed and was always available. Punctual and efficient and young and enthusiastic. Very impressed and highly recommend.

Very happy with the service. Had a plumbing problem on Sunday that needed immediate attention. It was only a matter of hours from my initial call to when a plumber arrived. He was fully prepared, having asked a few pertinent questions before arriving, and resolved the problem immediately. Really good communication from start to finish. Yes it’s not cheap, but in an emergency, needs must. Would use again.
