I had a fantastic experience with Firwood Plumbing and Heating. They fixed a persistent shower leak, installed a new tap, and replaced the clicker with precision and care. The plumber was punctual and professional and his expertise and attention to detail were impressive. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Firwood Plumbing and Heating for any plumbing needs—truly top-notch service!

Was having an issue with my washing machine drainage, the plumber came out and checked it and was friendly, had a look at the pipes at the back and discovered technically there wasn't an issue with the washing machine, or only issue could be the pump if connected right and so didn't charge for service but gave me some advice regarding fixing a separate issue. Would happily recommend them, knowledgeable and completely reasonable, if I have any issues I'll absolutely be calling here first

Had an issue on Christmas morning with water coming through the ceiling from the water tank. Dean picked up the message and rang at 9am- guided us on how to isolate the problem while ensuring we still had use of the central heating and mains water until the work was done. Dean was brilliant, I contacted him in the morning when he had a busy day and he managed to fit me in that evening. I had tried to do some diy myself and removes some radiators resulting in crimping a copper pipe and putting a hairline fracture in an L bend pipe. Dean was professional in his approach and knew how to fix both problems swiftly. I personally couldn’t recommend him enough. I now know who to contact if I have plumbing issues.

I cannot thank him enough. He came out on a Sunday morning a couple of hours after calling. Me and my children were freezing with no heating. Not only did he solve the problem with my boiler he showed me what to do if the same problem with the frozen pipe was to happen again. Literally a life saver. Also, he was so friendly and kind with the children. He promised he wouldn’t rip me off and he absolutely didn’t. Thanks again!

From initial contact, I found Steve to be extremely professional and knowledgeable. He carried out a full survey of my boiler including the external pipework, controller and the water pressure in my property. He spent time fully explaining my options and I felt he was being honest rather than trying to sell me the most expensive product. Steve quoted me for three different boilers and allowed me to make the decision without trying to push me into buying a boiler at additional cost, that I did not need. He understood that I wanted the boiler fitted ASAP and changed his appointments to fit me in at the earliest date. There was something about his manner that convinced me that he would do a great job. Within 48 hours of first meeting Steve, I had a new boiler fitted. On the day of installation, both Steve and Josh turned up on time and set to work. Throughout their time on my property, they acted professionally and worked hard to complete the installation. Both were really friendly and respectful of my house. They fully explained what they were doing, and any issues they had to overcome. They tidied up after themselves and left my property clean. The price quoted was the price I paid. There were no hidden or extra charges. I would not hesitate to use this company again. They are two of the best tradesmen I have used and I can't recommend them highly enough. Called at almost 5pm when some DIY resulted in a leak behind a radiator. Without hesitation he said he would head right over. Really friendly and was able to fix the problem quickly and made sure a proper job was done. Pricing was really fair especially for an emergency call out. Would 100% recommend

Joe came same day (within a few hours) to fix a leak to my toilets waste pipe. He got straight to work and replaced an aspect to my waste pipe. He was super professional and didn’t mind a chat whilst doing it. Very down to earth and honest person. The price was very reasonable and my issue was fixed quickly. He tided up everything at the end you would never tell there ever was a leak! I’ve already recommended him to family because it’s so hard to find a decent plumber who won’t charge you the earth and has a quick response time. Absolutely amazing gentleman. Mum called Joe early evening and he came out the following morning. Was supposed to be just a quick leak under the sink, and it turned out to be a couple of hours work. He was wonderfully patient and understanding and did just an outstanding job. Also, he was very reasonable as well. Definitely recommend to everyone.

After finding an overnight leak from our hot water tank we did need help pretty quickly I rang M&R Plumbing & Heating Ltd and they said they had someone in the area and would get him to call. Michael duly arrived, he managed to drain the system for us and was able to leave with our water supply and central heating working while a new tank was ordered. This was fitted by Jake and his assistant who did a really professional and thorough job leaving everything neat and tidy. We also found the office staff were very friendly and helpful. We can't recommend this company enough and would certainly use them for any other jobs.

I have been consistently very happy working with this excellent firm over many years but particularly pleased with Jack Fox today. He had never installed an Inspire Automation Landlord Wireless App Thermostat before and clearly used his expertise with similar systems, many more complicated than Inspire, to efficiently install and commission the product with just one hours Labour time. I can now control my heating and hot water usage from anywhere in the world for my short term guest bookings with a simple boost button for them to use for comfort if still in the property during working hours / weekends!
