Very helpful and good value. The owner spend 15 minutes to repair 2 old taps glands which do not in production anymore and only charged for materials. Saved me at least £50 to change the whole tap

Needed help repairing an old mixer tap. Needed a washer for the neck and replacement tap headgear. The parts were hard to find. “Stop tap and switch” was recommended by Plumbase as unfortunately they didn’t have the parts. Very nice bloke at “stop tap and switch” had the neck washer available and owing to the fact the tap headgear was no longer available to buy he took apart, repaired, greased up the internals and put a new washer on the tap headgear. He was informative throughout and gave me tips on reassembly, it’s all back together and working perfectly for the total price of 50 pence. Ace finding people who know their stuff. I’ll deffo be back.

I then ask for a quote to replace a radiator to a larger size to heat the room more effectively. Quote was provided via message and once’s accepted I was able to pick a suitable time and date. After finding an overnight leak from our hot water tank we did need help pretty quickly I rang M&R Plumbing & Heating Ltd and they said they had someone in the area and would get him to call. Michael duly arrived, he managed to drain the system for us and was able to leave with our water supply and central heating working while a new tank was ordered. This was fitted by Jake and his assistant who did a really professional and thorough job leaving everything neat and tidy. We also found the office staff were very friendly and helpful. We can't recommend this company enough and would certainly use them for any other jobs.

If you are looking for a competent no-nonsense Gas engineer. Look no further. Dean did such a fantastic Job with our heating and hot water system. They are very professional but also flexible to accommodate changes required during the Job. A combination that can be hard to get. Plus the price is very competitive. We changed the hot water cylinder and a Potterton boiler of 22 years. Doing these required quite a bit of plumbing overhaul. We are very happy with the Job done. We cannot recommend him enough.

Had an issue on Christmas morning with water coming through the ceiling from the water tank. Dean picked up the message and rang at 9am- guided us on how to isolate the problem while ensuring we still had use of the central heating and mains water until the work was done. Dean was brilliant, I contacted him in the morning when he had a busy day and he managed to fit me in that evening. I had tried to do some diy myself and removes some radiators resulting in crimping a copper pipe and putting a hairline fracture in an L bend pipe. Dean was professional in his approach and knew how to fix both problems swiftly. I personally couldn’t recommend him enough. I now know who to contact if I have plumbing issues.

Did both my houses to a high standard finish, both the bathrooms and boilers, The boilers came with a unbelievable warranty!! I would highly recommend Joe from JC plumbing. We had a problem with an overflowing toilet, he came round, identified the issue, ordered the part, came back fitted it, job sorted. He also went to my aunties house as she had a problem with her toilet not flushing. He went to suppliers got a new unit and fitted within the hour. Fantastic to find someone who can repair things.
