Rapid Response really lived up to their name from the start. They responded to my request for a quote within 15 minutes. Communication was easy and clear throughout, their price was very competitive. When I spoke to staff at the office to pay the deposit, that was a pleasant and easy experience. John arrived spot on time, Mark joined him to sort out the electrics. My new boiler was fitted and all the controls located in places that are convenient to me, with minimal noise or fuss and John and Mark cleaned up after themselves. John explained how everything worked without being at all patronising, it's sad that I'm commenting on that, but as a solo woman all too frequently it's not the case. So thank you very much John! I'm absolutely impressed with every aspect of this company from the communication with the sales team through to the finished job, I recommend them absolutely to anybody and I'm very grateful to have found them.

These guys quoted for and installed a new boiler two years ago. Excellent service throughout. Came out to see me within two hours and immediately gave me confidence in the company. Installation went like a dream. Took out a five year annual service and Andy who has carried out both services so far is excellent. When the boiler decided to pack in 5 days before Christmas and another company pulling out of an installation contacted Rapid Response Heating. They confirmed yesterday (Sunday) that they were able to help, we had a new boiler fitted by 1pm Monday. Thank you Ben and John for the prompt and excellent service you provided. Perfect installation in difficult conditions. A new boiler and flue fitted within 48 hours of requesting a quote. Freezing conditions with thick snow on a steep roof and all complete by 3pm. Fantastic work and very knowledgable about the subject of various boiler systems. You may think this is to be expected but not all like to share this information. Excellent and friendly engineers. Craig is professional, reliable, friendly, honest and transparent. We've used Craig on more than 3 occasions, most recently to replace our existing boiler. It's hard to come across people in the industry that you really trust, but I can guarantee that Craig is one of the best! He couldn't have done any more to us out. I wholeheartedly recommend Applethwaite Heating.

Had my boiler serviced and other gas appliances checked, and this was all done at the agreed time at a reasonable price. I booked this online, which was easy to use, and I had several date/time options to choose from, so I could pick one to my preference. A confirmation email also followed. Craig and his colleague were both friendly and explained things clearly. I will definitely consider using Applethwaite Heating again, and have saved their details for future jobs.

First time I've used this company and I was very impressed. Told Craig my issue with the boiler and he was round within a few hours, he identified the issues immediately and explained clearly what needed to be done. A small part had to be ordered, after keeping in touch he returned the next day to complete the job to a high standard and a very reasonable price. I will only be recommending Craig to others going forward.

I contacted Mike yesterday as it was almost as if our boiler packed up altogether. I sent over some pictures or what was going on. He came out first thing this morning had a look and knew exactly what was wrong. He is very knowledgeable and polite very easy to talk to! We're just waiting for our new boiler! Very quick and an easy process and affordable to! We wouldn't go to anybody else now!

They installed a new boiler for us, the engineer who came was excellent, he did a fantastic job hiding the pipe work which we were worried about. Mike’s team replaced our boiler in a new location. The team were courteous, efficient, informative and did a great job, despite a number of problems that were encountered due to issues with the standard of the previous boiler and pipe work installation. I’d highly recommend this company.

Called at almost 5pm when some DIY resulted in a leak behind a radiator. Without hesitation he said he would head right over. Really friendly and was able to fix the problem quickly and made sure a proper job was done. Pricing was really fair especially for an emergency call out. Would 100% recommend

Absolutely amazing gentleman. Mum called Joe early evening and he came out the following morning. Was supposed to be just a quick leak under the sink, and it turned out to be a couple of hours work. He was wonderfully patient and understanding and did just an outstanding job. Also, he was very reasonable as well. Definitely recommend to everyone.

Joe came same day (within a few hours) to fix a leak to my toilets waste pipe. He got straight to work and replaced an aspect to my waste pipe. He was super professional and didn’t mind a chat whilst doing it. Very down to earth and honest person. The price was very reasonable and my issue was fixed quickly. He tided up everything at the end you would never tell there ever was a leak! I’ve already recommended him to family because it’s so hard to find a decent plumber who won’t charge you the earth and has a quick response time. Highly recommend Ashton Drain Services! We had a broken pipe that Dan was able to fix for us quickly and efficiently this weekend. He has done an excellent job and on top of that, Dan was friendly, professional and explained everything to us sp that we understood what was going on with our pipes/drains. He came when he said he would and gave a honest opinion in that if we were prepared to wait for United Utilities then we could potentially have the problem sorted for free. However, with us not wanting to inconvenience the neighbours (our blockage was causing them problems too) and us having a young family, we were happy to pay the reasonable amount to get the blockage unblocked quickly and efficiently. Excellent service and we would definitely recommend.

The first company we've chosen in some time that have been professional in attitude and service, from start to the completion. Gareth, the engineer arrived on time, was a friendly man with a tidy and meticulous about his work. We'd no hestitation is booking Ace for other jobs to follow. Recommended, from our experience.

Having had unfortunate experiences with previous plumbers/gas engineers we were eager not to get it wrong this time when our kitchen ceiling suddenly sprung a leak & we feared it was coming from the bathroom radiator. We were recommended to use Ace Gas & after reading nothing but good in their reviews called them out. Gareth arrived as & when agreed to assess the problem, he was courteous, friendly & professional but could find no obvious cause of the leak immediately. Therefore we agreed to him returning (today) to attempt to locate the problem. He again arrived as & when agreed & set to work immediately removing the bathroom floorboards where he found no evidence of water for over an hour but still persisted until he worked out that the problem was actually originating in the loft & due to a previous plumber not having isolated one of the pipes. He then proceeded to rectify the leak, put back the floorboards & tidy & clean up. His attention to detail, determination to get to the bottom of the problem were second to none & work ethic were second to none. We would most certainly use & recommend highly Ace Gas, infact we have already booked them for our boiler & gas fire 12 monthly service. We choose M&R Plumbing and Heating to fit our new boiler because we wanted a local company that we could deal with face to face and have confidence that the advice prior to fitting and the finished job would suit what we required. Also that the installation would be completed on time and to an excellent standard and post fitting any questions or concerns we had would be dealt with effectively, all within a competitive price. That is exactly what we received. All the way through the home visit to advise on what system we needed through to the completed installation it could not have gone smoother. After finding an overnight leak from our hot water tank we did need help pretty quickly I rang M&R Plumbing & Heating Ltd and they said they had someone in the area and would get him to call. Michael duly arrived, he managed to drain the system for us and was able to leave with our water supply and central heating working while a new tank was ordered. This was fitted by Jake and his assistant who did a really professional and thorough job leaving everything neat and tidy. We also found the office staff were very friendly and helpful. We can't recommend this company enough and would certainly use them for any other jobs.

I have been consistently very happy working with this excellent firm over many years but particularly pleased with Jack Fox today. He had never installed an Inspire Automation Landlord Wireless App Thermostat before and clearly used his expertise with similar systems, many more complicated than Inspire, to efficiently install and commission the product with just one hours Labour time. I can now control my heating and hot water usage from anywhere in the world for my short term guest bookings with a simple boost button for them to use for comfort if still in the property during working hours / weekends!

We’ve used Jay’s services several times, including for emergency repairs to a tenanted property’s boiler. Every time he’s been a legend, trying his best to fit us into his busy schedule and always going the extra mile to ensure our needs are met and our tenants are not let down. He’s very professional, always been on time, jobs executed to perfection and reasonably priced. When he changed the boiler for us, he took time after the job was done to FaceTime the tenant, who had not been present at the installation, to explain to them how the boiler works. There isn’t one thing we could fault Jay for, and we’ll definitely keep using his services in the future and recommending to others.

I WhatsApp Jay to do an annual service on my Mum's boiler, but it turned out to be a lot more work needing to be done. He explained everything and fixed the problem.
