I couldn’t speak highly enough of Sam and his team in the completion of our garage conversion. Sam was thorough throughout from the initial quotation to organising all the workmen needed, it really felt like such an easy process with him guiding us through. There were no hidden costs, we paid exactly what was quoted. Sam and Ben were extremely polite and friendly and always involved us in decision making with the build. The standard of the work is absolute quality and I would not hesitate to use again for any other jobs we may require. The kids love their new playroom, thankyou so much!

Sam, the Ben's and the rest of Sam's merry men have done an OUTSTANDING job of our very complicated conversion! Not the easiest garage conversion, having a wedge shaped detached garage that needed to be bought forward to attach to the main house, taking off the leaking flat garage roof and replacing it with a pitched roof that needed to join to the main house... and not to mention the different ground levels involved!!! Sam was spot on with his communication, his attention to detail was second to none as were the rest of his team. They were courteous to have around (and I kinda miss making them brews and stocking up the biscuit tin)! In all, we are absolutely thrilled with the result and cannot recommend S R Bell Carpentry and Building enough!

A well organised professional roof replacement. Keith and his team did a great job, despite 3 storms mid repair 😃 I was asked for input and invited to check the work thoroughout, so I'm pleased with the finishand confident the work has been completed properly.

Adrian did a great job fitting my three doors. He was methodical, tidy and has a caring attitude to his work. I would without a doubt get him to do further work for me in the future.

Adrian has just completed a job for us - he has fitted 5 internal doors to a very high standard - he was very punctual, clean and tidy and nothing was too much trouble and he suggested that we put a door on the opposite way which now makes the room twice as big. I would highly recommend Manchester Carpentry. I recently had underfloor heating installed and needed the manifold to be boxed in to stop it getting damaged and to make the area look tidier. Arj responded quickly, came out to measure promptly and gave me a competitive quote. The work was done within a week to a high standard. We first used Pearsons Bespoke Carpentry to fit two bespoke cupboards and shelving units, picture rails, skirting boards and door architraves in two downstairs rooms. Mark’s a very skilled craftsman and his attention to detail is second to none. He kept us informed throughout his work and every day tidied up after himself. We’ve since had Mark back to hang two doors and he is due back to fit a PVC coal shed door in the coming weeks. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark for any joinery work you may require undertaking. Five stars every time!

Fantastic job from Mark fitted my doors and arkitrive cleaned up afterwards also came out short notice when I had a new floor fitted and the door needed trimming very polite I was that I.pressed I recommended mark to do work for my son who was over the moon with his work will definitely use him again

Mark fitted a beautiful composite decking. The service was fantastic always on time, polite and friendly but the workmanship was of a very high standard. Nothing was any problem he always checked at each stage that we were happy. It looks amazing looking forward to using it over the summer. I would most definitely recommend Mark.

What can I say Jordan has done an absolutely amazing job for us , worked closely with us throughout in terms of making our somewhat quirky design choices come to life. The finish is exceptional, probably better than we could have imagined. Great communication throughout the work and left the place as tidy as when he started. I would without a second thought heartily recommend Jordan's quality workmanship to anyone (even though it may mean a bigger wait for our next project..it will be absolutely worth it.) Jordan is not just a fantastic craftsman but is polite, punctual and reliable. Turns up when he says he's going to and keeps you updated if there are any schedule changes. He's done a couple of jobs for us now and we are delighted with the results. Would absolutely recommend him.

Can’t rate Jordan’s work and communication highly enough. He has absolutely transformed our lounge with the shelving he has designed and fitted (requested a larger base to support our tv and he managed it without it looking monstrous). Everyone that visits is wowed by the work he has done. It was such a pleasure to deal with Jordan, that I asked him back to redo my sons wardrobes and shelves. Tasked with the challenge of extending a solid oak live edge dining table, Gyles delivered a stunning piece that perfectly complements the existing table. Gyles was both patient and professional throughout the process. He skillfully used a more affordable wood veneer, while seamlessly edging it in real oak to maintain the live edge look. The result is a beautiful table extension crafted to the highest standards, all at an affordable price. Highly recommended!

We had a complete stair removal and new staircase installed. Alex was brilliant, very professional, kept in touch throughout the whole process and was a joy to have in our home. Ours was not the easiest of staircases to install, it being an old house with walls not very straight, but Alex sorted everything out with ease. Alex converted a probably non compliant dark staircase into the focal point of the house. We love the new stair and the balustrading and it's transformed the house. Alex's attention to detail is fantastic, he does a lot of research and prep to make sure you understand what you're getting and explains the options at each step. He's also a very talented carpenter.
