Not had any work done by this Company but met David earlier today at a timber merchant where I was struggling to load four fence panels into my car. He came over to me offering to help, then he asked where I lived and then loaded my panels into his own van and delivered them for me, free of charge, even refusing a tip. Andy and Ryan have been the builders I’d always hoped to find before we started our two-story side extension. We’ve lived near and walked past lots of extensions that took months longer than they should. Where people were lazing off every time you walk past. From the start Andy gave us a solid time frame and worked overtime to keep to it as much as possible. My wife and I aren’t always the easiest clients, sometimes asking for alterations during the job, and these were always acted upon and carried out to very high standards. This is all in addition to being one of the most competitive quotes we received. A great, friendly, helpful father and son duo with an army of tradesmen in all areas that, over the years, they have amassed from trusted, high-quality workers. Can’t recommend them enough. If you’re stuck deciding on who to go with for your extension, just go with A&R. Absolutely no regrets in our decision.

We are thrilled with all of the work Andy, Ryan and his team carried out at our property. Andy supported us through the whole process, beginning at the planning stage. We could never have imagined how much more space we’d have and how fantastic the end result would be. We are overwhelmed by how great it looks. All aspects of the building and construction were carried out with great care, with Andy and Ryan going above and beyond, making the process easy for us. Andy and Ryan have actually done two jobs for us: first they replaced an old conservatory with a small extension, then we were so happy with their work that we asked them back to do a full two-storey extension. Both times they've been extremely helpful, accommodating, professional, given very competitive quotes, and worked very hard to an excellent standard. They're genuinely nice guys who care about their work and they've both been great in terms of flexibility too, e.g. Andy did some extra joinery work in one of our bedrooms and supplied and fitted new internal doors which weren't in the original plan, and Ryan came back after our extension was built to install our utility room cupboards, including working on the weekend to get it done it time. We also really appreciated their advice on various occasions where we were stuck deciding details of the build. We couldn't recommend them enough, and would happily have them back for a third job if we had one!

From the moment of meeting Andy to price our job we knew we would be in good hands and couldn't wait to start our extension. From start to finish both Andy and Ryan just couldn't do enough. There was no such things as a 'silly question' and all our ideas were taken on board and they could be achieved they were but if not Andy and Ryan could come up with an alternative or something generally better. I have never met more professional, friendly, hard working trading men. We were actually sad to see them leave when the build was done. Ryan did return though to fit our new kitchen, which was again done with an eye for detail and treated just like it was his own kitchen being fitted. Words truly can't describe how happy we are with our extension and kitchen, it's now our favourite room. The best builder experience I have had! I was having a knock through done which required steel, and both rooms re plastered, electrics, plumbing, new joinery and steps creating. From the start a clear quote and breakdown of work provided. During the work communication was very good. Aaron visited site everyday and updated me on what was happening that day/week. All trades people were polite and friendly and tidy. I was pleased with the final quality of finish.

Rowland Construction completed a 2 storey extension for us, with a large amount of internal reconfiguration and reconstruction. From the initial meeting with Scott to talk about our project, through to completion, they guided us through the whole process with professionalism, enthusiasm and efficiency. Ben fitted some in built alcove cupboards in our clinic, his work is exceptional, he's efficient, a perfectionist and everything was spot on even down to cleaning up afterwards. I would highly recommend Ben for all your joinery needs!!

I am writing this because my experience hiring Dave could not be more different from only other review. It just does not reflect what I know and what other people who I've recommended him to know. Dave was brilliant, he helped the design fitted wardrobes and shelves in an awkward alcove, advised on best materials, hinges etc. to create my ideal clothing and shoe storage solution. I absolutely love it. He also repaired an old child's chair my mum painted for me years ago and which had broken quite badly. Now it's good as new. Very reasonable prices. A total pleasure to deal with.
