We had a complete stair removal and new staircase installed. Alex was brilliant, very professional, kept in touch throughout the whole process and was a joy to have in our home. Each day everywhere was tidied up before he left. We are very pleased with our new staircase and have had lots of compliments about it. Thank you so much, Alex. Ours was not the easiest of staircases to install, it being an old house with walls not very straight, but Alex sorted everything out with ease. I would definitely recommend Alex to anyone wanted a new or refurbished staircase.

Alex converted a probably non compliant dark staircase into the focal point of the house. We love the new stair and the balustrading and it's transformed the house. Alex's attention to detail is fantastic, he does a lot of research and prep to make sure you understand what you're getting and explains the options at each step. He's also a very talented carpenter. Top job, great value.

Excellent!!! That’s the only word for Alex, very professional and great service. Very responsive and came back with a great quote. All work completed on time and left as if he had never been there. No mess at all. Respected our property at all times. Messaged him a few weeks after the job had finished and he responded within minutes. Wouldn’t hesitate in using him again

Absolutely brilliant work from Jay, came in to finish a job half started after being messed around by a previous fitter. Fitted my kitchen within 2 days and his work is excellent! Could not be happier ! Extremely reliable and kept us up to speed with ever the was doing , couldn’t recommend him enough and will certainly be using him again in the near future !

We had the pleasure of having Jay come out to our house during an emergency, and he went above and beyond to help us. Even with it being Christmas Eve, he came and made sure everything was taken care of. Jay was incredibly thorough, explaining each step of the process with great detail. His professionalism was outstanding, and we couldn't fault his work in any way. After completing the job, he even took the time to provide us with some quotes for some future projects. Highly recommend!

Doug has done quite a few jobs for us over the last 30 years or so including a loft conversion, book cases, new kitchen and fitted bedroom units to name but a few. All have been done to the highest possible standard and I have no hesitation in recommending him apart from it may make it harder for us to to get him for anymore work we need doing.

Doug has been recommended to us and what a breath of fresh air he is! He is lovely to deal with, friendly and approachable. His work is exemplary. His attention to detail is phenomenal and it is so refreshing to meet a contractor who arrives on time, who doesn't want to eat his lunch until he feels he's reached a "suitable cut off point" and who would stay late and get it right rather than rush his work and have to compromise on the finish. Doug is currently making a replica Victorian front door and frame for us which has a lot of detail and will have stained glass panels. It was good to be able to discuss different ideas and designs and we are very excited to see the finished article. He is a "craftsman" in the true sense of the word and his rates are extremely reasonable given his expertise and the quality of his work. We really cannot recommend him highly enough. Doug has created 3 bespoke kitchens at different properties over the last 10 years. Each project has been designed,fitted and finished (using traditional wooodworking skills) to an excellent high standard,at an excellent price He goes the extra mile to make sure you have what you wish for but with all his experience he brings fantastic and practical ideas.I would not hesitate to recommend him for any individual,bespoke or quirky project that requires a traditional skilled CRAFTSMEN.

Can’t recommend this guy highly enough. He is a talented craftsman/joiner who takes pride in his work no matter how big or small. His work spans traditional and contemporary designs and each job is carried out with care and expertise. He made a neat contemporary staircase for my welsh cottage and I am highly delighted with it.
