I am very happy with the work from Shelterstone Carpentry. Karl was a top joiner, he fixed my sliding door that was poorly fitted by another contractor. Given the bad condition of the existing door, he did a great job and now it looks so much better. The workers were competent and professional.

My experience with this team was excellent. I asked for a bespoke fire surround with quite a specific look. The finished job is better than I’d hoped for. Media wall. We had a media wall built by Homepeople, whom are hard working, go the extra mile, offer ideas & solutions. Are very punctual & really put a shift in to keep to timescale. All staff a pleasure to deal with. Would recommend

I am writing this because my experience hiring Dave could not be more different from only other review. It just does not reflect what I know and what other people who I've recommended him to know. Dave was brilliant, he helped the design fitted wardrobes and shelves in an awkward alcove, advised on best materials, hinges etc. to create my ideal clothing and shoe storage solution. I absolutely love it. He also repaired an old child's chair my mum painted for me years ago and which had broken quite badly. Now it's good as new. Very reasonable prices. A total pleasure to deal with.

I’ve used Dave on a number of occasions over the last few years and most recently, on a substantial house renovation. I can’t speak more highly of Dave. His work is absolutely faultless. He is a master craftsmen and a credit to his industry. Adrian has just completed a job for us - he has fitted 5 internal doors to a very high standard - he was very punctual, clean and tidy and nothing was too much trouble and he suggested that we put a door on the opposite way which now makes the room twice as big. What can I say Jordan has done an absolutely amazing job for us , worked closely with us throughout in terms of making our somewhat quirky design choices come to life. The finish is exceptional, probably better than we could have imagined. Great communication throughout the work and left the place as tidy as when he started. I would without a second thought heartily recommend Jordan's quality workmanship to anyone (even though it may mean a bigger wait for our next project..it will be absolutely worth it.) Jordan designed and built cabinets, shelving and desk space for our home office. He had good ideas for the use of the space, his workmanship was high quality and he was very professional. My personal favourite was the space for our coats & shoes! We were so pleased with the results and would recommend him for similar work.

Fantastic job from Mark fitted my doors and arkitrive cleaned up afterwards also came out short notice when I had a new floor fitted and the door needed trimming very polite I was that I.pressed I recommended mark to do work for my son who was over the moon with his work will definitely use him again

We first used Pearsons Bespoke Carpentry to fit two bespoke cupboards and shelving units, picture rails, skirting boards and door architraves in two downstairs rooms. Mark’s a very skilled craftsman and his attention to detail is second to none. He kept us informed throughout his work and every day tidied up after himself. We’ve since had Mark back to hang two doors and he is due back to fit a PVC coal shed door in the coming weeks. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark for any joinery work you may require undertaking. Five stars every time!

Mark fitted a beautiful composite decking. The service was fantastic always on time, polite and friendly but the workmanship was of a very high standard. Nothing was any problem he always checked at each stage that we were happy. It looks amazing looking forward to using it over the summer. I would most definitely recommend Mark.

We really don't know how to thank Mike. Giving a 5* review just doesn't seem enough. Mike did work on our staircase few yrs ago & he was so meticulous, we said we would NEVER look for another joiner. We decided to have a new kitchen a good while ago, but due to his backlog of work due to the Pandemic we were happy to wait, not once, did we think about finding a different joiner. We're SO happy we waited. He's come up with a few tips & ideas to give us more space, which the kitchen company who planned the kitchen didn't. He came up with a great idea to make the hob area a feature- it looks fantastic! He has gone above & beyond our expectations. He is so courteous, never leaves without tidying up, no matter what time it is. He only has another day here to go, but really wanted to put this review on. Will update with pics when finished. So good, we've had him twice!! A good tradesman is hard to find when it comes to knowledge, capability, enthusiasm for the job, and value for money. Mike delivers on all these areas, and discusses each stage of the project to deliver (in my experience) beyond what you would expect. I have had Mike in my house twice this year. Once on a major refurbishment project, which transformed the core section of the house : Hallway / Stairs / Landing, and included : completely replacing the front door and frame, entirely replacing the banister, constructing an under stairs storage area, lowering and insulating the landing ceiling, and replacing most of the doors & frames in the house, plus fitting all the skirting boards. We planned to sell, but feel so at home that we asked Mike back to remodel our third bedroom, which involved constructing a loft bed in a very confined space, which now feels spacious! If you want someone to turn your vision into reality, without breaking the bank, look no further.

Contacted Mike to provide a quote for some internal wooden doors. He came down and measured up and gave us a trade book to look through. Really nice guy, very knowledgeable and professional. He gave us a quote which was really well priced. He fitted us in after a few weeks later and got 6 internal doors fitted along with hinges, locks and handles. He completed the job whilst we were in work so he is very trustworthy. The work was completed to a very high standard. He is very tidy and took time to clean up. I would 100% recommend using Mike for any joinery needs and would go to him again if I needed anything in the future. Top bloke. Thanks again 👍🏼

Really happy with Gareth's work. He made a cabinet to box in our electricity meter, hung 2 internal doors and installed skirting board, door frame into kitchen, window sill and architrave around doors. Alpeng is a brilliant handyman in every sense. Works briskly but with great attention to detail; very courteous and considerate; follows the brief accurately; and is reasonably priced. So far he’s built a playhouse to a high standard (when he offered to go above and beyond to improve my paving base too) and done a number of handyman tasks like mounting a TV, installing curtain rails and shelves. I would highly recommend Manchester Carpentry. I recently had underfloor heating installed and needed the manifold to be boxed in to stop it getting damaged and to make the area look tidier.
