Yesterday was second time that I worked with Helen at Peckforton Castle, so many special and unique aspects were brought into play at this event, I can still hear the gasps of appreciation from the guests, the whole day ran like clockwork. I know what I'm talking about when I heap praise on Helen, I've been around the block having managed luxury hotels around the world for over 20 years and in my second career as a toastmaster for 15 years. I can tell you that Helen is right up there at the top of her profession On Saturday last once again I had the pleasure of working with Helen for a wedding at the palatial Old Palace, Chester. From the very start at Chester Cathedral to the first dance and conclusion it all ran perfectly with Helen and her team quietly, calmly & most efficiently ensuring this special day had a most successful outcome.

WOW! What can we say - Helen you were absolutely fantastic. We honestly do not think our day could have gone as smoothly as it did without you. From our initial meeting up until the big day the effort and orginasiation you put in instantly made us feel at ease. PERFECT! 🤍 We booked with 15 months to go, and Top Table were amazing throughout the whole journey. They made everything so easy that it felt like something was missing, but it wasn’t. I just didn’t expect to to be so calm! Our wedding day ran so smoothly and perfectly, and we are so grateful for Jake, who helped manage us throughout the day, as it was such a blur! With 2 weeks to go, we also discovered we were expecting.. Top Table helped hide this with secret drinks and conversations throughout the day, so our guests were none the wiser! Top Table were our chosen caterers for our big day in April 2023 at the Oak Tree of Peover. The BEST decision we ever made, honestly! From the minute we contacted them, the service was incredible. From the free tasting session (where the food was so good that we booked them the same day), all the way up to the wedding, where they acted as our wedding coordinators. The food was out of this world, honestly the guests are still talking about it now. The service from the wait staff on the day was unmatched - so quick, efficient and friendly. Hannah, who was our wedding coordinator on the day, was absolutely brilliant! Constantly checking up and making sure we were okay and happy and things ran like clockwork! There was honestly nothing to worry or stress about, it was just PERFECT. Thank you all at Top Table who helped make this the best day of our lives!

Top table were our caterers in August at the Oak Tree of Peover. They were so helpful creating a menu for us and especially for accommodating quite a long list of guest allergies and intolerances. The staff were really lovely and we felt they went out of their way to be helpful to us. They also boxed up our leftovers and cake at the end of the day from our buffet which was hugely appreciated! The tasting we had back in January was delicious, and really helped us choose what we wanted for our menu. I'm still dreaming of the chicken we had for our main course! So sad we didn't think to take a photo of our food, but our photographer luckily took some pics of the starter and main. Portion sizes were great too and we definitely didn't hear any complaints about being hungry! Definitely recommend a trio of desserts! It was extremely helpful going through a plan of timings for the day, the document sent really helped us when answering questions from other suppliers, venue and registrars! Top Table had been wonderful from the initial introductions at our wedding venues (Sandhole Oak Barn) wedding fair (a mouthful to say) all the way through to when the big day finally arrived. We were kept well informed with how the day would play out; we were told that as the bride and groom, canapés would be be-lined to us as a priority so we wouldn’t have to worry. The food was absolutely phenomenal, it’s just a shame we couldn’t have everything we tried on the tasting menu because it was all unbelievable (even for a Sunday morning at 10am) but our selection of food for the big day was unreal! A special mention to Jake who led charge on our big day. From first introductions, we had his number, nothing was too much for him and his dry sense of humour was fantastic. Thank you to all the team for making the day unforgettable!!

We normally plan our events in-house however decided to outsource some aspects due to being so busy! We discovered ConnectIn and have used them for our last three events. Jess who we have been working with has been amazing at finding us suitable venues that matched exactly what we were looking for, as well as sourcing us some amazing props. Mr Flavour recently managed and delivered my Halloween themed 40th Birthday party. Prior to the event, Ali and his team liaised with the venue to ensure everyone knew what they were doing to pull off an epic event. Everything was seamlessly organised and flawlessly delivered. From the moment we arrived, the courtyard and bar were set so professionally and truly transformed the venue, it looked like a Halloween movie set. The bar staff and actors set a perfectly eerie tone. The reception was a hit giving everyone the chance to mix and mingle over incredible cocktails that were as tasty as they were theatrical. The barn was set up with an incredible cocktail 'blood' fountain keeping everyone perfectly hydrated, though we were never left wanting with spooky cocktails and shots circulating all night long. The band were phenomenal and had everyone up and dancing all night long. I can't thank the Mr Flavour team enough for delivering the most memorable night of my life!

We hired Tor to help with our wedding in July and really cannot thank or recommend her enough. Our wedding was held at our family farm, and whilst this seemed like a great idea, we also had so many possibilities of things going wrong on the day. As soon as we had Tor’s input into the wedding, she gave us every bit of confidence that the day would run as beautifully as it did. From the week leading up to the wedding, all of our suppliers couldn’t believe how relaxed I was and this was definitely thanks to Tor. Tor was there at all hours to answer any questions, help me make decisions, and make suggestions that I definitely wouldn’t have thought of (without being annoying ha!). On the day of the wedding I was able to have such a lovely morning with the bridal party, and throughout the day knew everything was being taken care of which resulted in being able to actually enjoy our wedding day without any stress (which a lot of couples don’t get to do). Tor is such a lovely person and so easy to get on with, even if it wasn’t wedding chat we would still have a laugh.. we had so many comments from guests about how incredible our wedding was, how smooth the day went, and how fab Tor was behind the scenes. We have said from the start, hiring Tor was the best decision we made…we are also convinced she could plan a wedding on Mount Everest and it run smoothly. My husband and I were doing a very DIY wedding in a village hall, and wanted something different to the dozens of weddings we’ve been to recently. But without Victoria behind the scenes it would have been utter chaos. She and her assistant were powerhouses on the day - getting stuff done so efficiently and smoothly that sometimes I barely even noticed that they’d moved/changed or updated things! That’s a sign of a great on the day coordinator! Victoria was also a very calming person to tie in with in the run up as she was so organised and thorough. I am an obsessively organised person, so helping me on my wedding day could have been someone’s idea of a nightmare as I can be pretty inflexible in my ideas, but Victoria was so willing to just go with my flow, whilst also bringing great ideas and gently nudging us on things we might have otherwise forgotten that made the day go more smoothly. We hired Victoria for the wedding day management for our wedding, and I can't say enough positive words. Even from the start during our intro call, to coordinating with vendors, to the final day wedding celebration, she exceeded our expectations. I was hesitant to hire someone for the day of coordination because I am a planner myself, but Victoria checked every box and she allowed me to unplug and really enjoy the day with my family and friends. Highly recommend her because of her organization skills, professionalism, and how pleasant she was to work with!

As a wedding videographer, I wish every wedding I captured had a Victoria! Having someone like Victoria to go to with questions and check ins made the day run so much smoother than I’m used to! Victoria is the kind of person that is so on it as well and thinks of every little detail but is so creative and flexible in how she works to help and assist with whatever you need throughout the day. Not just for the couple but for the suppliers too! I would urge people to hire her and highly recommend Victoria as the lovely person she is and for the great services she offers!

Pure Elegance we’re absolutely amazing and decorated our wedding venue beautifully. Even better than I could ever imagine. Bridal bouquets actually looked real and matched the decor perfectly. Donna and team were absolutely wonderful and very professional from start to finish. We chose to have artificial bouquets and were very happy with the effect. We went with a rustic theme and the individually designed tablescapes were just gorgeous. We had lots of compliments and we can wait to see the professional pics of the day. A special thank you to Megan who knitted us a special mushroom for our top table tablescape. Very sweet and we will treasure it always.

We used Pure Elegance Events after Donna, Amanda and the team were recommended to us. After sneaking away to get married we wanted to celebrate with fifty of our close friends and family. We maybe thought this would be too small for Pure Elegance however, this was never the case. I feel like we were treated the same as anyone having a huge wedding with an large budget. From the very first meeting with Donna she was friendly and profession. We felt like we had known her a long time. As we were only having a meal we hadn't really thought too much about what we wanted and didn't want anything extravegant. Donna took the few ideas we had and built on it. We don't feel like we asked for a lot of stuff or went all out, however, the room looked amazing. The attention to detail was flawless. Due to circumstances beyond our control there was a very last minute change of venue whilst we were out of the country. If it wasn't for Donna & the extended brilliant team, we can honestly say we wouldn't have had a new venue. We are fully aware they didn't need to go above and beyond to find us somewhere new but they did. Even though this actually wasn't what we were paying them for. This shows their very high level of customer service. You can trust them whole heartedly to do the right thing for their customers and you aren't just another booking. Hiring Charlotte Elise Wedding & Events was the best decision we made when planning our wedding. Charlotte helped with the sourcing and booking of suppliers and it was amazing to have access to her knowledge. Once booked she handled the venue and all suppliers brilliantly taking all the stresses of us. On the run up to our wedding day she ensured they all knew timings and answered any questions, she also made sure we hadn’t forgotten anything (even ordering some items for us!) On our wedding day Charlotte coordinated everyone (caterers, band, production etc) and helped with the setting up. Knowing Charlotte was there meant that we didn't have to worry once and looking back it was essential in helping us enjoy our wedding day. Afterwards many of our guests commented on how well the day flowed and it was great to hear what an amazing time our friends and family had. Charlotte planned our wedding for well over a year from start to finish. Having to rearrange the wedding due to the pandemic, Charlotte made the whole process so stress free and went over & beyond to sort this for us. Our wedding was planned throughout covid as we got engaged the day before the national lockdown so we knew wedding planning wasn’t going to be straight forward in the early stages with all of the restrictions! We met with Charlotte who supported us through the wedding planning process, she arranged venue viewings and gave recommendations for reliable suppliers and made contact with them on our behalf (and they were all absolutely brilliant!!!). As well as offering her advice when it came to venue decoration and flowers - something we had no idea about and really appreciated the guidance . Charlotte co-ordinated the running order of the day and communicated amongst suppliers. On the day, it ran so smoothly, Charlotte worked in the background to ensure everything was in order so we didn’t need to worry about anything. In the lead up, people would tell us that wedding planning is extremely stressful, however we didn’t feel any of that and we’re so relaxed, thanks to Charlotte!
