Top Table were our chosen caterers for our big day in April 2023 at the Oak Tree of Peover. The BEST decision we ever made, honestly! From the minute we contacted them, the service was incredible. From the free tasting session (where the food was so good that we booked them the same day), all the way up to the wedding, where they acted as our wedding coordinators. The food was out of this world, honestly the guests are still talking about it now. The service from the wait staff on the day was unmatched - so quick, efficient and friendly. Hannah, who was our wedding coordinator on the day, was absolutely brilliant! Constantly checking up and making sure we were okay and happy and things ran like clockwork! There was honestly nothing to worry or stress about, it was just PERFECT. Thank you all at Top Table who helped make this the best day of our lives!

Top Table had been wonderful from the initial introductions at our wedding venues (Sandhole Oak Barn) wedding fair (a mouthful to say) all the way through to when the big day finally arrived. We were kept well informed with how the day would play out; we were told that as the bride and groom, canapés would be be-lined to us as a priority so we wouldn’t have to worry. The food was absolutely phenomenal, it’s just a shame we couldn’t have everything we tried on the tasting menu because it was all unbelievable (even for a Sunday morning at 10am) but our selection of food for the big day was unreal! A special mention to Jake who led charge on our big day. From first introductions, we had his number, nothing was too much for him and his dry sense of humour was fantastic. Thank you to all the team for making the day unforgettable!!

PERFECT! 🤍 We booked with 15 months to go, and Top Table were amazing throughout the whole journey. They made everything so easy that it felt like something was missing, but it wasn’t. I just didn’t expect to to be so calm! Our wedding day ran so smoothly and perfectly, and we are so grateful for Jake, who helped manage us throughout the day, as it was such a blur! With 2 weeks to go, we also discovered we were expecting.. Top Table helped hide this with secret drinks and conversations throughout the day, so our guests were none the wiser! We had the best day of our lives and can thank Top Table for this! 🤍🎉

The best venue you could possibly book for your wedding! Mark and Deborah are just amazing, from 18 months ago meeting them for the first time right up until the morning after the wedding they could not be more helpful and friendly. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them and they will make sure you have everything you want for your special day. The venue is amazing, they have thought of everything you could possibly need. It absolutely poured down all day for our wedding but Mark really went out of his way driving the bridal party around in his car to make sure none of us got wet getting down to the ceremony. They made sure the venue was properly equipped for such bad weather so that no one even cared about the weather and didn’t ruin the day what so ever. Jennie was also amazing running the day for us, she was always so smiley and so friendly for the whole day and kept checking in with us. She didn’t stop all day making sure it was the perfect day for us and made sure we both had a drink in our hand at all time, she’s an absolute credit to the venue. Every member of staff that worked on the day were so friendly and nothing was ever too much bother. We honestly had the best day ever.

We got married here in July 2024 and it was an unforgettable venue. The views over the hills were stunning and so many beautiful sites for photos. Great for kids as they were running round feeding the sheep and playing outdoor games. More than that, Mark, Debra and Jennie were fantastic. They took the time to really understand us as a couple and get us exactly what we wanted. They went the extra mile to help to create our perfect day - from hanging extra ‘green hangy things’ to driving us in a golf buggy up a hill for the best wedding shots. It can be difficult organising a wedding, but we always felt that we were in safe hands! Thanks so much from Rose and Dan. Xxx

Mark, Deb, Chantelle and the whole team at the SWF have created the most amazing wedding venue and made our wedding day in August 2024 so magical. They helped us from the very beginning, providing advice and guidance on how the day could run, recommended suppliers and were always a text / call / email away. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they made the planning process seamless. The venue itself is gorgeous set in the Saddleworth Hills and we had full rein of the venue for the full weekend. We could decorate it how we like and could make any finishing touches. They make you feel part of their family (by welcoming you into their home) and this made the whole experience more personal and less stressful for us. You can tell they are proud of what they do, and have created, and want you to have the best wedding day possible. You couldn't ask for anything more from the SWF!

We held our wedding at the Stables Wedding Farm in Summer 2024 and everything was perfect from start to finish! Working with Deb and Mark on putting the day together was our highlight and we miss heading up to the venue for a catch-up and to discuss plans. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we often joked that we could have told Mark that we wanted a UFO landing on the marquee roof and he would have gone above and beyond to help out! On the day of our wedding our (thought to be) worst nightmare happened and it absolutely bucketed it down as guests arrived and during the ceremony. However, Deb, Mark and the team had worked tirelessly to make sure everything ran smoothly and we can honestly say the rain had no impact on the day. We didn't believe this would be the case but it was honestly true! The biggest compliment we had was a guest said "you have managed to hold the wedding that everybody wants to have but are too scared to plan". This wouldn't have been possible without such an amazing and flexible venue. We wanted a relaxed day full of fun and little of the usual tradition. The venue meant we could decorate as we wished and have any food we could possibly want. We would recommend the venue to anybody, whatever the style of wedding you are looking for. We can't imagine another venue ran by people who care as much about your day as Mark and Deb and this honestly makes all the difference!

Our daughter got married in June 2024 and we were very fortunate to have been recommended Jess by Kate from our marquee company (Special Event Tipis and Marquees). We had got quite far along the DIY planning route when I realised as MOB that I wanted to be able to enjoy the wedding day and the build up to it without being overwhelmed with everything. My husband was quite sceptical at first about why we needed a coordinator as we had everything booked. This was mainly because he hadn't quite grasped what was involved, but after meeting Jess he was onboard 110% and he, like the rest of us, thinks she is fantastic and money well spent. We engaged Jess for her 'on the day management' but this is truly much, much more than just 'on the day' management and is an absolute MUST if you are having a marquee wedding. She is an experienced professional who has a very calm approach to everything. She stepped in 6 weeks before the wedding and from then on we knew we were in safe hands. She gave us much needed advice on a whole host of things and made everything run smoothly. She expertly coordinated with all our suppliers - of which there were many and all of whom were brilliant! She and her team (hello & thank you to the other Jesses) came the day before the wedding and set up the marquee. We went along to give a hand, but she had everything covered. She even had a kettle & made us all a cuppa! They came to the church rehearsal and then went back to the marquee to continue with the set up which enabled me able to spend time with my daughter and our family and friends, stress free, the night before the wedding, which is something which I would not have been able to do without her being onboard. Unfortunately, the weather on the day wasn't great . After glorious sunshine the day before, in true Lake District style, it rained on the day. We were so confident and comfortable with Jess's advice that we trusted her to her to make the last minute decision if the drinks reception would be inside or outside. She, together with Fran from Holker Hall, managed this beautifully and our guests have said that they were quite pleased it rained as it enabled them to have a look around the beautiful Holker Hall. Jess and her team were very professional and at the same time warm and friendly and it genuinely comes across how much they love their work. We had the most fantastic & fun wedding party and all our guests have said that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. I do believe we had the dream team of suppliers. Jess and her team were amazing, they were friendly and so, so organised. Jess helped make the lead-up to our wedding run seamlessly, which meant we didn’t have all the stress of sorting everything out. As she is a wedding expert, she gave us great tips and advice about how best to set out our day, we wouldn’t have had a clue otherwise! On the day of our wedding, everything ran to time and went perfectly and she was a very calming presence for my husband when he was getting a bit stressed out. It was like a professional production and we could just relax and enjoy ourselves - we even forgot they were there sometimes! We would highly recommended hiring Jess to coordinate your wedding, it’s a no brainer really, you can have an amazing well-put together wedding and no stress!

If you're wondering "do I really need a wedding planner?" the answer is no - you don't need just a wedding planner, YOU NEED JESS! The easiest ever 5 stars. Jess was phenomenal - you will not find a safer pair of hands for the biggest day of your life! BEFORE WEDDING DAY We thought we could do it all but we were so SO wrong. 16mths before our big day we realised that wedding planning is someone's profession for a REASON & opted to find an 'on the day' planner since most of our vendors were already booked. My biggest regret is not getting Jess on board from the outset! We spoke with a number of wedding planners & at the end of back-to-back initial meetings, we didn't even need to discuss who the best fit was - it was obviously Jess. Jess was, of course, kind & congratulatory & immediately easy to get on with, but she was also focused & able to demonstrate her ability to deliver our dream day from the very first moments of meeting her. We knew that she would have everything in hand! Jess was our go to whenever we had a wobble or a question or needed to soundboard something. Nothing was too much & she always responded quickly & with results! She put us at ease every step of the way. The thing with wedding planning is that you don't know what you don't know, & that is where Jess is essential. She won't just people please - she'll give you honest advice/opinions to ensure your day runs smoothly & in line with your vision, & she will quickly identify any issues or gaps & will have solutions before you can even ask! ON THE DAY Knowing Jess was going to be there put us at ease in the lead up. On the day we both said that booking Jess was the best decision we made on MULTIPLE occasions! Nothing was an issue, she had everything under control, & had solutions to any issues without us even knowing there'd been an issue. There was literally not one thing we had to worry about on the day. Ultimately, Jess was both a friendly face on the day putting us at ease & also the most proficient organiser I've ever seen. She took command, made sure everything/everyone was where they needed to be, & did so in the kindest & most professional way without so much as breaking a sweat. She makes EVERYTHING look effortless! By the end of the day, we were devastated that she was leaving after having delivered our dream wedding day which, due to her sheer effort & skill, far exceeded our expectations & frankly blew us out the water. TIPS 1 - Don't book any old wedding planner, BOOK JESS! And do it sooner than later - don't be me, you can't do it all! 2 - If you're having a multi-day wedding, particularly with a pre-party, book Jess! We didn't & when it came to bite me in the backside she was there at the drop of a hat & sorted EVERYTHING out. Massive regret not just booking her from the outset! 3 - Communicate! Jess is incredible but she's not a mind reader, & she got to know us so well so that she could deliver the exact right aesthetic & atmosphere on the day. 4 - Trust Jess implicitly. There is a reason this is her profession. She delivers flawless weddings week in, week out. If you hand over the reins, you will NOT be disappointed! OVERALL Jess is one of the most organised people you will ever meet & you'll rarely have a question that she hasn't already thought of & answered - she goes above & beyond! She is also so incredibly kind & we like to think over the past couple of years has become a real friend, something we are so grateful for. Our day was flawless & it was entirely down to Jess. Booking Jessica Sharpe Weddings was one of our best decisions & if you are lucky enough to book her I know it will be yours too! TO JESS There are no words to actually express our gratitude. You are truly the best in the business & delivered a day that we will never ever forget & we know it would not have been possible without you. We hired David for our Easter wedding, and he ensured all of our guests had a great night. We wanted a DJ who would do the job, not try and be a comedian and make themselves the centre of attention, and David was very happy to take our lead. He took our music choices on board, and maintained a good playlist that kept people on the dance floor all night. I would definitely use David again for an event, and wholeheartedly recommend his services.

Zoey has styled several events for me and has always surpassed all of my very high expectations. She can turn anything from a bare warehouse to a tipi into a luxurious and supercool environment. She has great vision and when this comes to fruition it is spectacular. She is extremely hard working and very reliable. Simon and his team were beyond amazing for our company’s Christmas Party this year in York. Every single one of my colleagues expressed how much they enjoyed each different aspect of the day, from the mini golf, basketball and other arcade games, the Grinch and Santa costumes (albeit the Grinch was terrifying!) and finally The Great Christmas Gameshow! My husband and I were doing a very DIY wedding in a village hall, and wanted something different to the dozens of weddings we’ve been to recently. But without Victoria behind the scenes it would have been utter chaos. She and her assistant were powerhouses on the day - getting stuff done so efficiently and smoothly that sometimes I barely even noticed that they’d moved/changed or updated things! That’s a sign of a great on the day coordinator! Victoria was also a very calming person to tie in with in the run up as she was so organised and thorough. I am an obsessively organised person, so helping me on my wedding day could have been someone’s idea of a nightmare as I can be pretty inflexible in my ideas, but Victoria was so willing to just go with my flow, whilst also bringing great ideas and gently nudging us on things we might have otherwise forgotten that made the day go more smoothly. As a wedding videographer, I wish every wedding I captured had a Victoria! Having someone like Victoria to go to with questions and check ins made the day run so much smoother than I’m used to! We hired Victoria for the wedding day management for our wedding, and I can't say enough positive words. Even from the start during our intro call, to coordinating with vendors, to the final day wedding celebration, she exceeded our expectations. I was hesitant to hire someone for the day of coordination because I am a planner myself, but Victoria checked every box and she allowed me to unplug and really enjoy the day with my family and friends. From our very first meeting we knew that Tor was the person to plan our wedding with us. She had the best personality, was easy to get on with and she was obviously very knowledgeable in her field which filled us both with confidence. Myself and Dave are very busy people, and got especially busy as we were planning our wedding. Tor was there day and night, no matter what time I messaged her with a query or idea she was on the ball so fast. Tor also recommended the best suppliers. One of them being Gemma from Rock and Wreath, our flowers were absolutely unreal and I felt confident giving Gemma complete freedom and creative license with her designs. I had an idea of maybe having a live sketch artist but after searching and searching I couldn’t find the right person. Tor absolutely pulled it out the bag and found the amazing little Beth Illustrations. We would have never had such special wedding favors if it wasn’t for Tor finding Beth. Tor also found the beautiful Bethan Steers for my hair, and the amazing Beth Kennet for our wedding videography! These two women were an absolute joy of energy to have around on the day, but every single person involved was. So I’m so grateful to Tor for finding all of these wonderful suppliers because they were truly out of this world, every single one of them. On the day of the wedding Tor was never not by my side, anything I needed she was there 100 percent and really had my back no matter how big or small, from making sure I had coffee when I was tired, to emergency steaming my wedding dress.
