We hired Herb and Spice to cater our Tennis Club Christmas dinner. It was a great experience. Before the event they communicated very well, so we knew exactly what to expect. All questions were answered quickly and clearly. As for the event itself, it went very smoothly. The staff were polite and professional and the food was terrific! After they were finished the clean up was so good you wouldn’t have known they were there. This is the third time I’ve organised this event and the catering has, until now, been disappointing… but not this year. We’ve already booked them in for next year!!

We hired Herb and Spice for a medium sized family birthday party (25 people) to be held at home. From start to finish the entire experience was first class. We had no difficulties selecting from the extensive menus. On the day, the team arrived early, set up and the food display looked stunning. Thereafter, they went above and beyond, answering the door to all guests and serving drinks continually through the evening. Food was served at the requested time and everyone loved it. Afterwards they boxed up the leftovers for us (there was a huge quantity of food served) and cleaned and tidied all plates and glasses etc. We cannot recommend Herb & Spice highly enough and their involvement turning it into a truly memorable evening. The food and the service were excellent from Herb and Spice! Initially I had a detailed chat with Misia who helped me to decide what type of food would suit my daughter's 21st birthday party at home. We had around 50 people and fewer chairs, so we looked at what would suit guests standing, we also found alternatives for: lactose intolerance, nut allergy and vegan preference. I was very happy with the main choices of Farmhouse Chicken and Butternut squash lasagne, plus sides. The food was delivered an hour before guests arrived, the process was smooth and with a smile. We served food two hours after delivery, it was hot and ready to go. Our guests were really happy with the party food, saying it was "delicious" "tasty" and "great quality". We would highly recommend Herb and Spice without a doubt.

It was a pleasure to do business with this company. All our communications were answered promptly and the company responded quickly to our changing needs as guests joined or dropped out of our function. Our guest's food intolerances and preferences were also catered for and we were able to order separate plated up food where necessary. Our cold buffet for 110 people was tasty, delivered on time and beautifully presented. The two staff who attended our buffet - Tara and Molly - were lovely; extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Guest feedback was enthusiastic and positive with many mentioning how delicious the buffet was.

We hired Victoria for the wedding day management for our wedding, and I can't say enough positive words. Even from the start during our intro call, to coordinating with vendors, to the final day wedding celebration, she exceeded our expectations. I was hesitant to hire someone for the day of coordination because I am a planner myself, but Victoria checked every box and she allowed me to unplug and really enjoy the day with my family and friends. Highly recommend her because of her organization skills, professionalism, and how pleasant she was to work with!

From our very first meeting we knew that Tor was the person to plan our wedding with us. She had the best personality, was easy to get on with and she was obviously very knowledgeable in her field which filled us both with confidence. Myself and Dave are very busy people, and got especially busy as we were planning our wedding. Tor was there day and night, no matter what time I messaged her with a query or idea she was on the ball so fast. Tor also recommended the best suppliers. One of them being Gemma from Rock and Wreath, our flowers were absolutely unreal and I felt confident giving Gemma complete freedom and creative license with her designs. I had an idea of maybe having a live sketch artist but after searching and searching I couldn’t find the right person. Tor absolutely pulled it out the bag and found the amazing little Beth Illustrations. We would have never had such special wedding favors if it wasn’t for Tor finding Beth. Tor also found the beautiful Bethan Steers for my hair, and the amazing Beth Kennet for our wedding videography! These two women were an absolute joy of energy to have around on the day, but every single person involved was. So I’m so grateful to Tor for finding all of these wonderful suppliers because they were truly out of this world, every single one of them. On the day of the wedding Tor was never not by my side, anything I needed she was there 100 percent and really had my back no matter how big or small, from making sure I had coffee when I was tired, to emergency steaming my wedding dress. As a wedding videographer, I wish every wedding I captured had a Victoria! Having someone like Victoria to go to with questions and check ins made the day run so much smoother than I’m used to! Victoria is the kind of person that is so on it as well and thinks of every little detail but is so creative and flexible in how she works to help and assist with whatever you need throughout the day. Not just for the couple but for the suppliers too! I would urge people to hire her and highly recommend Victoria as the lovely person she is and for the great services she offers!

We hired Tor to help with our wedding in July and really cannot thank or recommend her enough. Our wedding was held at our family farm, and whilst this seemed like a great idea, we also had so many possibilities of things going wrong on the day. As soon as we had Tor’s input into the wedding, she gave us every bit of confidence that the day would run as beautifully as it did. From the week leading up to the wedding, all of our suppliers couldn’t believe how relaxed I was and this was definitely thanks to Tor. Tor was there at all hours to answer any questions, help me make decisions, and make suggestions that I definitely wouldn’t have thought of (without being annoying ha!). On the day of the wedding I was able to have such a lovely morning with the bridal party, and throughout the day knew everything was being taken care of which resulted in being able to actually enjoy our wedding day without any stress (which a lot of couples don’t get to do). Tor is such a lovely person and so easy to get on with, even if it wasn’t wedding chat we would still have a laugh.. we had so many comments from guests about how incredible our wedding was, how smooth the day went, and how fab Tor was behind the scenes. We have said from the start, hiring Tor was the best decision we made…we are also convinced she could plan a wedding on Mount Everest and it run smoothly. Brilliant service! We bought a custom neon light and hired a frame and disco balls for our wedding. All the props looked amazing and the disco balls absolutely made my day! They were beautiful. Also the booking process and the delivery and collection of the props was seamless, would definitely recommend

We hired the neon ‘until death do us party’ sign from the word is love. It looked even better (and bigger) than I expected - I loved it and it looked great next to our dance floor. Suzy and Ollie were so helpful and the hiring/set up etc was so easy and all organised by them but fitting in with everything we asked! We just had our wedding on Saturday and used The Word is Love to hire a wooden arch with neon sign. Suzy was great at replying to emails and so helpful when we decided to change to a smaller arch! On the day the arch and neon sign looked fab and gave a lovely glow to the day, the arch was then used in the evening and again, looked great! We would definitely use them again 💖

Yesterday was second time that I worked with Helen at Peckforton Castle, so many special and unique aspects were brought into play at this event, I can still hear the gasps of appreciation from the guests, the whole day ran like clockwork. I know what I'm talking about when I heap praise on Helen, I've been around the block having managed luxury hotels around the world for over 20 years and in my second career as a toastmaster for 15 years. I can tell you that Helen is right up there at the top of her profession On Saturday last once again I had the pleasure of working with Helen for a wedding at the palatial Old Palace, Chester. From the very start at Chester Cathedral to the first dance and conclusion it all ran perfectly with Helen and her team quietly, calmly & most efficiently ensuring this special day had a most successful outcome.

Where to start..... I can not ever thank Helen enough for giving us the most magical day of our lives and the wedding of our absolute DREAMS last September. When I first came across Helen back in 2019, I knew instantly from looking at her beautiful website and following our initial consultation that Helen was exactly the person I wanted and needed to have planning our wedding with us; I never needed to consider any other planners, I knew straight away that Helen and her team were going to be the ones for us. Initially, my (now) Husband was against the idea of spending money on a wedding planner however with heavy work schedules and dreams of a luxurious wedding but not knowing a thing about the industry, there was no doubt that it was a battle he was not going to win; he will be the first person now to say it was the BEST decision we made in the whole of the planning process. Having Helen on board paid even more dividends when COVID hit and we were faced with two postponements; Helen took so much stress away from us during that time, showed us so much care and I have no doubts that Helens reputation and highly respected position in the wedding industry meant that we were luckily able to move the wedding date on both occasions with minimal financial impact. Helen is not only the ultimate professional, she is just the most wonderful person and I will be forever grateful that we were able to share such a special time with her and have her support for every step of the way. Her eye for the small details, her impeccable taste, along with her non-nonsense approach and wealth of knowledge really did help create a dream day for us and our families, far beyond any expectations. PERFECT! 🤍 We booked with 15 months to go, and Top Table were amazing throughout the whole journey. They made everything so easy that it felt like something was missing, but it wasn’t. I just didn’t expect to to be so calm! Our wedding day ran so smoothly and perfectly, and we are so grateful for Jake, who helped manage us throughout the day, as it was such a blur! With 2 weeks to go, we also discovered we were expecting.. Top Table helped hide this with secret drinks and conversations throughout the day, so our guests were none the wiser! Top Table were our chosen caterers for our big day in April 2023 at the Oak Tree of Peover. The BEST decision we ever made, honestly! From the minute we contacted them, the service was incredible. From the free tasting session (where the food was so good that we booked them the same day), all the way up to the wedding, where they acted as our wedding coordinators. The food was out of this world, honestly the guests are still talking about it now. The service from the wait staff on the day was unmatched - so quick, efficient and friendly. Hannah, who was our wedding coordinator on the day, was absolutely brilliant! Constantly checking up and making sure we were okay and happy and things ran like clockwork! There was honestly nothing to worry or stress about, it was just PERFECT. Thank you all at Top Table who helped make this the best day of our lives!

Top Table had been wonderful from the initial introductions at our wedding venues (Sandhole Oak Barn) wedding fair (a mouthful to say) all the way through to when the big day finally arrived. We were kept well informed with how the day would play out; we were told that as the bride and groom, canapés would be be-lined to us as a priority so we wouldn’t have to worry. The food was absolutely phenomenal, it’s just a shame we couldn’t have everything we tried on the tasting menu because it was all unbelievable (even for a Sunday morning at 10am) but our selection of food for the big day was unreal! A special mention to Jake who led charge on our big day. From first introductions, we had his number, nothing was too much for him and his dry sense of humour was fantastic. Thank you to all the team for making the day unforgettable!!

Top table were our caterers in August at the Oak Tree of Peover. They were so helpful creating a menu for us and especially for accommodating quite a long list of guest allergies and intolerances. The staff were really lovely and we felt they went out of their way to be helpful to us. They also boxed up our leftovers and cake at the end of the day from our buffet which was hugely appreciated! The tasting we had back in January was delicious, and really helped us choose what we wanted for our menu. I'm still dreaming of the chicken we had for our main course! So sad we didn't think to take a photo of our food, but our photographer luckily took some pics of the starter and main. Portion sizes were great too and we definitely didn't hear any complaints about being hungry! Definitely recommend a trio of desserts! It was extremely helpful going through a plan of timings for the day, the document sent really helped us when answering questions from other suppliers, venue and registrars! Would just like to say a big thank you to Debbie for all the effort and making our day perfect. Debbie was lovely to talk with over email / phone when we initially contacted her. We then had a follow up meeting when we were able to due to COVID restrictions and she was really helpful is suggesting things that might work with our theme and showing us different decoration options in the shop. Everything was effortless on the day, they just got on with everything and I arrived to the wonderful room set up. I would not hesitate to recommend Debbie and team and thank you so much for making our day run so smoothly.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Debbie and Jason for decorating the Bowden Rooms for our daughters wedding on 25th June 2022 it was absolutely stunning and everybody loved it. Nothing was too much trouble and they went the extra mile to make it perfect. We would highly recommend Perfect Weddings as they certainly made our day perfect. Thank you once again.

Beautiful, elegant venue for a concert. My first time here. Civilized as can be. Lovely human check in at the door. Small bar with amazing staff in lobby. Seated event to see the incredible Chris Helme. Car park on premises. Very leafy and luxurious. Hope to return soon.

What a superb venue. We watched Everything Everything there. It was a fab evening! So unique! Two members of the band were interviewed by a Radio 6 presenter. It was really informal and so interesting. They played their guitars and sang a number of songs explaining their meaning and how they were produced plus chatted about their personal lives. I would definitely recommend going to one of these concerts! With parking, a bar and comfortable seats this Edwardian venue would be perfect for all occasions!

What a lovely venue in a nice area of Altrincham. I saw a question and answer gig here and it was set up lovely. The only minus was the small bar, which had a very long wait, staff were great, it was just the volume of people in short bursts, that was the problem.
